I see everyone praising Albert Lee here.. which is great.. he's a legend. But, most folks don't realize what a legend Peter Asher is. I knew him as a part of Peter and Gordon in my youth, and watched as he became the premier producer during my lifetime.. Google him as see how many of your favorite artists he's acted as producer for...........
I saw Albert in a very small venue in Kirkcudbright, Scotland about 15 years ago and he was absolutely fantastic. I have to say that Elio Pace on piano was also wonderful, as were the rest of the band ‘Hogan’s Heroes’. Tickets were only £15, and I’ve never had better value.
We had the #1 table that touched the edge of the stage and I was able just let my camera rest on our table. Such a wonderful evening with these two legends.
Definitely old, very very old - but obviously always relevant. Three chord 50s rock n roll will always have secure place in the modern world... what's not to like.
@@robertswarts9806 youd think he if anyone, Asher would know that two acoustic guitars both playing open position and the same chords at the same time sounds rubbish.. go figure..
Rock on Albert ....greatest guitar picker ever....
Well done fellas. Watched Albert Lee on a few videos, very entertaining
Bravo! Thanks for posting

Great to hear Albert singing and Peter still performing. I remember Peter and Gordon very well from my youth. And Peter’s lovely sister, Jane.
i've been lucky enough to see albert Live on many occasions, he's brilliant on the guitar, modest and friendly.
Great. Song. And. Performance. ❤❤❤❤
Saw Albert with the Everly Brothers at Wembley in the '80s. A great guitarist, up there alongside James Burton and Vince Gill as a country picker.
Great song-Great version.
I was surprised to read in a biography of the 60's, 70's music scene, how much of a roll Peter played in many, many recordings.

"Bukkin Frilliant" Can't play anymore as my old mate " Arthritis " came to call, but this is medicine to the soul.
Cool...!👍🎤🎸🎼
Very nice
Eric Clapton considers Albert Lee the greatest and best guitarist he's ever heard. That's enough for me.
I understand the arthritis. But I persevere.
Hilarious. This apparently is music when you get really really old
You've got the vocal tune wrong Albert.
THAT'S ALRIGHT MAMA !!!
I agree!! AL's no vocalist but hlva picker.
@@biggerthanacadillac Sure is.
Whats wrong with it, sounds more than good to me. Don’t match some version from your past maybe?
