That is an interesting take on a pop-top without the typical bed platform up top - can't say I have ever seen that configuration before. (and I've viewed a bunch for research) That said I like my pop-top (alu-cab) with the bed up top. (no bed-making at night) Of course - to each their own - as long as it gets you out there!
Very nice setup - thank you for sharing. The seats which fold-out into a bed are very good. If you could share a link to the supplier, this would be very helpful
Hi love the seat, it's not listed on Dormobile, I know it's a RIB seat, is there anywhere else that supply it as when I google it only VW comes up. Thanks
Three questions: What is the width of your kitchen platform? I understand that the width of your bed is 100 mm … can you both get accommodate in 100 mm? What is the internal width of your vehicle?
Very good video. Where did the seats come from that fold into a bed? Did you purchase the upper bunk from Dormobile Inc? We have a 110 and purchased our camper top in kit form from Dormobile in UK.
Great video and really well thought out set up. I wonder if you could share details about the storage units which I think you said were fabricated by mobile storage systems. Have you gone for a conventional split charge arrangement or something different? Best wishes Simon
Hi Simon and thanks. Yes pretty straightforward battery system using a split charge relay with all the 'gubbins' fitting under the passenger seat (it's tight). The units were made by Mobile Storage Systems to my drawings/dimensions so were not their standard units (although they were but based on them). They were very helpful in meeting the spec I wanted. www.mobilestoragesystems.net.
What a brilliant set up, really well thought through. Love the simplicity
Excellent. A perfect overlanding rig. Great design.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Seats are made by 'RIB' and supplied by Dormobile: www.dormobile.co.uk
Dormobil in Lyndhurst that's their roof as well
@@Classicworkingvehicles the link takes you to the website but I am unable to find the beds.

of all places in this world you think it's only in africa people get robbed or bad things can happen?...
No I certainly don't, I've met many wonderful people in Africa. Sorry if I've offended you in some way?
