am a bit early thank you soo much gracie and all you said in this video is true practice makes perfect I managed to improve my grades from an F to a B by practicing such that when the exam came i was just sliding through the exam anx soo much for the tips 💞💞💞and congrats on your alevel results
Thank you so much for this, it's really helpful. I'm 27yo and doing A level maths in my spare time outside of a full-time job, so it's really helpful to understand the most effective ways to utilise my study time.
hey, all your content is so so helpful thank you so much! you are very hard working, I just wanted to know how many hours in yr13 you think you were spending on revision?
Thank you so much for this. I hope to retake my gcse maths to get a better grade. I’m a mature adult, so it’s very scary. Ps I’m using the memory palace and journey method of memorising. I will add your study method as well.
Your contents are really useful and Thanks for sharing those with others...🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 And Plss make a video on the way you stayed soo motivated on studies and focused on it without any distraction…I’m an A Level student too…And I struggle every day with distractions and procrastination…I’m fed up with it...😫💔
This is like one of the best video I've seen to get an A* for maths! How early did you start doing past papers? I have like 28 days left (almost less than a month) and I really do want to get a high grade because I usually don't, but this time I want to be at the top. Also, I'm using madasmaths topic questions to practice the topics I'm weak at after I do a past paper.
that's amazing! I have around 10 days to revise for maths between my other exam and maths, would it be too late to implement this repeating papers technique? I've been doing papers consistently but not repeating them
This was really helpful. I’ve been doing a lot of papers but not going back to the ones that I didn’t do well on. I’ll start going back to those now! How long did it take you to do a paper every day, including marking and updating your spreadsheets and stuff - it takes me forever! Also, how did you balance all of this hard work in maths with your other subjects?
Well I did papers in timed conditions so 2 hours to do the paper, then how long it took to mark depended on how much I got wrong haha. I’d say like 20-45 minutes? I didn’t work on maths everyday, but I did allocate my time according to what I was struggling with. So each of my subjects didn’t get an equal amount of time. I really wanted to get an A* in maths so it got a lot of time. Chemistry didn’t need as much time as I was good at it (and worked a lot at it in year 12), then physics got a similar amount of time to maths! I won’t lie to you, overall a lot of work was put into these grades! But it’s all about working smart and not hard so I was definitely doing less than what a lot of people in tiktok were saying to do (like 8 hours everyday)
I made notes in class but that’s about it. I made active recall questions for stats and some of mechanics. A few for pure maths (to remember what trig functions integrate to) but that’s about it. Didn’t spend much time on it, definitely spend more time actually doing questions.
@@graciousss5638 Thank you sm for your response. i'm assuming chemistry requires notes though right? do you think making active recall questions for each topic using the specification + exam practice is enough?
I started doing full papers after we finished the content and I had revised the topics that I found particularly difficult. I think I did a few full papers in preparation for my December mocks, but I saved most of them for closer to the exam (from the Easter holiday)
I used the Cassio CG-50, it had some perks over the class wiz which was nice, but it’s much more expensive, most people in my class just had the class wiz. If you’re not planning on doing any maths further at university, I would just recommend to get the Cassio class wiz.
My dream is to study mathematics at Oxford University and I still have 4 years so give me some advice please and thank you for these useful videos 🥺🙏💗🪐
You obviously worked very hard your hard work paid off,
Naiker maths looks like such an exceptional website, looks like just the right complexity, thanks for the reccomendation
You are my inspiration for year 12♥

Did you do any madasmaths papers?
Yesss, i forgot to mention them tho!!
