Sogeking I do so much work for maths as it’s probably the A Level I find most difficult. I seem to panic and forget a lot in exams. I have my UCAS exam in a couple of weeks and I’m hoping that goes well so I can continue with A2.
Music This year the course is linear therefore you can’t retake anymore. I’m in first year and can’t retake it because our final grade is 100% of the tests at the end of second. We’re no longer entitled to funding if we fail so literally get one try at the course.
Learn How that’s extremely lucky. But sadly, we’re not eligible to resit the first year, or even do the course again if we don’t get our desired grade. :(

Would it possible for you to do another video entailing everything you did to get that A in maths including any revision strategies you used or anything you did specifically to pull your grade up in all the modules e.g do harder papers such as solomon papers. also with resits when did you begin revising the AS modules and how many hours did you dedicate to them? - sorry if im asking too many questions but i really need to know as i also got a low C in maths this year and want to do everything I can to possibly pull my grade up :)
jiminie pabo I'll see if I have time to make a video, but yeah definitely do the harder papers as well. I started doing the AS papers again in around October/November so I didn't forget it all!

you can start doing some of the questions from the old spec, like my friends are doing the new spec after being told they have to resit year 12 and they're basically just redoing AS and A2 all over again
it has nothing to do with brains. it's shoving useless knowledge into your memory, knowledge you're never going to use again, your peers and seniors mistaking memory, pretty numbers and formulas with intelligence and saying, "awh mah gohd, you're soo smaaaaht 😍😍" edit: it does my head in

I did a re-sit in D1 this year, started a week prior to the exam, and got 86/100 ums, depends on the module.
