    Hello Terry!! Where do you get your egg shipping foam from?

  • @jupitertheargentinetegu
    @jupitertheargentinetegu 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I bought eggs twice on eBay. From different sellers. The first time they were shipped in the foam egg shippers you show in this video. The second seller cut up 2" thick pieces of the foam pool noodle toys and stuck an egg inside each of those pieces. Filled the box up with packing peanuts. I had a much better hatch rate out of the ones in the egg shippers you use. But the pool noodle eggs weren't really cracked. It just looked crazy.

      I've never seen anyone use pool noodles to ship eggs, I can imagine that looked pretty strange. Thanks for the comment.

    Might watch a few videos of the "rolling package on inclined conveyor belt" videos. They just roll and roll.
    Imagine your eggs doing that. I've shipped honey....have to take precautions. They basically roll the box to its destination.

    I agree. I've ordered eggs online that have come in that plastic agg carton and half are always cracked! Bubble wrapped and all I'd find eggs out of their compartments. They do move around and will ruin the others when they crack open.

    Have a question! For you. Could I put my laying quails on open field (Hoop pen) with the males will I still get a good percentage of fertilize eggs? Want to get them out of a close cages style! Will it work? I have make two of your incubator plus a 1502 Sportsman Cabinet. Awesome video! Don’t stop ! Great information. Thank you 🙏

    • @CoturnixCorner
      @CoturnixCorner  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't say exactly what kind of fertility rate you would get but I see people using chicken tractors all the time and still get decent fertility rates. As long as you have a good rooster to hen ratio I think you'd be fine.

    I've had eggs shipped in those egg shipper that were duds with a horrible hatch rate. I've shipped egg each wrapped and taped and they did just fine. I've also shipped eggs in the little trays bubble wrapped and they have done just fine. All three ways work if they are done correctly. I've got foam shipped that have cracked and or shifted.

    I have question. So I am buying mountain quail eggs from someone in facebook group. But I’m very confused if I’m about to be scammed. I paid $40 through cash app. Then I received a message from active cargo relocation. Asking me for $100 traits fee that’s refundable? Should I pay them the $100 ?
