I wish it were true. A ton of people in my area are driving brand new vehicles. King ranch and platinum super duty are the most popular trucks down here. And everyone has a diesel not gassers. The amount of people who are buying this stuff is astonishing
Don`t forget that , the longer a car or truck sits, the worse it gets. The whole drive train from the engine to the rear end , is not getting fluid , the battery is getting weak, even if it shows 12 volts, the amperage is dropping due to the battery starting to break down inside. The tires are starting to rot , the paint is starting to get dull and oxidize , the interior is staring to smell. also don`t forget about all of the recalls .

We move the vehicles at least once a month . If a vehicle on the lot has a recall it will get fixed when the service department has availability. Paint oxidation , interior smell ? Lol
@ I have a 21 Laramie with 140,000 miles, I just put a new set of tires on it this week and decided to take it to 200 bc of all of the dealer bs and prices. Not to mention interest rates right now. Haven’t had a single problem with the 21 I have now or the 17 I had before.

Ram has survived at a distant 3rd for 2 reasons: HDs had the Cummins engines, and half tons were significantly cheaper than Silverado and F150. (For a reason!) Taking away the V8 and rasing the 1500 to the price of tbeir competitors will be a death sentence
We have a few local Ford dealers down here, each one has hundreds of in stock 2024 trucks 😂 they aren't budging on pricing either. They think we will pay $35k for a base model ranger 😂 that truck should start at like $14k and $20k for a raptor. $12k off MSRP if you qualify for f250s is not even close to where starting MSRP should be.

The Lexus dealership in my area still has the least amount of inventory almost no inventory on the lot But other dealers do have inventory, but it’s a lot harder to get a discount on a Lexus than a Dodge

Huh, tint doesn't prevent you from seeing out of the car unless you do an illegal tint level. And it also prevents you from getting uv rays if you drive a lot not to mention help on very sunny days.

i purchased a used 2022 Ram Bighorn 4x4 loaded with sideboards, adjustable pedals etc for 38k with 18k miles on it last may. it has 22k on it now, so what do these insane prices on new ones do to the value of my slightly used, like new one?
Everybody cries bloody murder on the $85,000.00 1500 pickup truck costs and yet, no one says one bleep on cost of groceries and every other consumer item!!! They all have gone up about the same inflation amount! One dozen jumbo eggs at Walmart cost me over $8.00 last week!!! Those same eggs cost about $2.99 back in 2019 when President Trump was in office. That's a 167% increase in cost ! ! ! Granted not all groceries went up that amount but they certianly have gone up by 45%-65%! This 1500 probably cost $65,000 and going up by 35% would put it right at $84,500 which is what you're seeing. That is not out of line given the devaluation of the dollar since potato heat printed trillions of dollars in the last 3 years and killed the value of our money! Can't always blame the auto manufacturers since they're faced with the same constraints we all are ! ! ! In addition, the big 3 had to spend billions because the feds are forecing them to build battery cars that no one wants to buy. So that's billions potentially down the toilet with zero returns ! ! !
