Tbh it’s a bit uncomfortable and disturbing to look at, but it did a good job symbolizing the pressure of having to look a certain way to society and what the person is on the outside and on the inside.

I see this as a sort of metaphor for emotional pain. Outside you show whatever people want to see, the beauty of joy, of a smile. When you get at home you leave space for the ugly and heavy truth, sadness, the lack of desire.
I think I understand the meaning behind this; in society, there's a lot of judgment over a person's looks and body image. Many men and women are pressured into looking a certain way because of how society and media wants them to look.

This animation truely reasonates with me....
Everyday I get ready for school, put on makeup and comb my hair to look perfect for others
I get called pretty and beautiful but I genuinely don't feel this way
On the inside, I feel ugly, insecure and I critisize myself in front of the mirror a lot
I am fake
The face I put on for others is facade
In reality I am messy and sad and
words from others cannot truely change how I feel
If my friends saw the real me, they would not be my friends
Everyone have facade
That's what I thought the point of the animation was but also I was laughing because of how silly she was built and the way she walked 😭
But also I never really have been like that so I probably wouldn't understand it well, because I don't try to look good for others I try to look good for myself.

A theory: this can of course be about the media, but we all clearly see she is to0 skinny and so would the media. I think this is about a girl with a ED.
