The front of station, with full of busy people walking by, and women inside of the vending machines placed in long line, and troublesome customers who are trying to use those machines.

So, I have my own idea of what this is about. The "Vending Machine" the lady is in is sort of meant to represent the jobs she has, which we see she seems to have three, Coffee Shop Worker, Phone Sex Worker (I assume due to the visuals but I may be wrong), and Waitress. The reason she has three is because these usually don't pay a lot of money (not sure if phone sex workers get paid a lot), but in addition to the stress of three jobs, she also has horrible customers she has to deal with.
Coffee Shop: Has to deal with people screaming at her about the wrong order, or their coffee being too hot, or whatever other complaint they can think of that probably isn't her fault, but she has to take the verbal abuse because "The customer is always right" and "Service with a smile"
Phone Sex: She has to hear probably very degrading things about what people want to do to her, or their sick fantasies in general, and not being able to deny any callers because "It's the job"
Waitress: This last one is a bit more horrifying. She works late shifts as a waitress and again, deals with the same abuse like in the coffee shop. But this time, there's a man there who takes a very large interest in her. It's implied after he gets very drunk, he sexually assaults her, possibly at the restaurant or even in an alley, as we see her looking broken down and heading to what I assume is her home towards the end of the animation. She may not be able to report the incident, since this man may be a person in a powerful position, and would just use his ties to shut her up.
Through it all, she forces herself to smile through, as she believes that's what she has to do. She can't fight back.
It's a very sad story, and it's a reality many people (Both men and women) face in their lives
We phone sex workers do not get paid a lot. Most of us get paid per call. Mine is .56 cents per call.

Look at the sign that says i. It means information in general. And she's wearing a uniform and a headphone. It's very typical image of telephone counselor in Korea. Her job is telephone counselor not a phone sex worker.

This was really heartbreaking to watch, especially painful with the part with the snakes. I was screaming inside at the symbolism and how well they conveyed that she was sexually abused even with just drawing her legs. It's so horrifying that this happens to anyone.

처음에는 남색 구두를 신고 있는데 왜 마지막에는 빨간색 구두를 신고 있을까요...?
아마 스트레스의 정도일까요? 아님 우리 사회 혹은 감정노동자들의 적색신호일까요?
보면 남색구두는 굽이 낮은신발이고 빨간구두로 바뀌었을땐 굽이 높죠, 보편적으로 빨갛고 굽높은 구두는 섹시함과 도발적인 이미지를 상징하는데 남색구두 = 일을하기전 내자신 , 빨간구두 = 서비스직을 하며 그들이 바라는 이미지에 끼워맞춘나 (여기서 그들은 사회가 바라는 여성 감정노동자들의 이미지일수도있고 직접상대해야하는 손님들 일수도있음) 를 상징하는거같아요. 본질을 바꿔야할정도로 높은 잣대와 정신적,육체적 학대를 의미하는걸로 저는 보였어요! 개인적인 해석이지만요☺️

요즘 양산형 애니보다 학생분들 모든걸 쏟아부운 청강대 애니메이션이 몇배더 재미있는것 같음. 때로는 현실에서는 느낄수 없는 무언가를 느끼거 해주는것같음
이런 애니와 요즘에 나오는 수래기 양산형 애니는 비교도 못하죠

Her second job, I believe, was a phone information worker or counselor. 2:52 I heard some Japanese from the guy. He was saying "okureru" which is to be "late", like maybe he was late for work. He also said "muzukashii" at 2:55 which means "difficult", probably meaning a difficult life. She was definitely being a counselor in that case or maybe a phone information worker who had to deal with customers venting. There appeared be several languages the guy spoke, but I recognized some Japanese words from it. Video appeared to have multiple languages in one

Im thinking its about working people (possibly just female) being treated like machines hence the name vending machine. They arent treated as human
The first woman in the puffy coat was pissed that her coffee was spilled (an accident that she didnt mean to do) and the the coffee was hot( which its supposed to be) and took her anger out on the girl. The words hurt her via her getting stabbed by them.
The second wispering guy annoyed the girl (when she turned to the info box thing) because shes human. She had to keep her smile and just deal with his wispering and annoying personality with out wavering.
The final one is terrifying. She's now a worker at a bar and some rich man is hitting on her and i believe even rapes her or at the very least sexual assualts her. But she cant do anything about it. Everybody expects her to keep on giving with her smile on her face. And i think thats what she realizes as she looks into the real vending machine glass. But i might not be right its just my take on it

The second i saw her hop into the vending machine i thought "Good god what kind of dystopian nightmare is this". After watching the entire thing i realized it was just compressed reality. People suck, man.

I love how the end scene makes me feel, like she's realized she's been treated like an object, something to be used and consumed. I've felt like that before and the scene made me grateful for how long I've come since those dark times. Love this short.

상황판단, 그리고 사회가 바라는 서비스 '예쁘고 어리고 친절한 여자가 웃어주면서 시키는 것 다 하는 것' 에 따라서 실제로고 현실에서 여성위주로 뽑죠. 서비스 중시하는 아르바이트 구해보신 분들이면 아실거에요 카페나 빵집같은 곳은 남자알바생을 많이 뽑지 않아요 체력이 중요한 곳은 몰라도요.

갈수록 입꼬리는 올라갔지만 눈은 더이상 웃지 않는 연출이..얼마나 지쳤는지 드러내주는 동시에 기계적인 웃음을 지울수없는 현실인것같아 안타깝고..

두번째는 음담패설보단 자존감 밑바닥인 사람 하소연 들어주면서 들어주는 사람도 부정적인 감정에 에너지를 다 뺏기는? 그런거같은데요
몸을 위아래로 흝어보는걸 보면 그런거 같지만은 않아요..
입을 가리고 못할말을 하는 사람처럼 눈치를 보면서 얘기를 하고 있습니다
moho _ 몸을 위아래로 훑어보는게 아니라 소심한 성격때문에 눈을 똑바로 마주치지도 못하고 주저주저하는걸 표현하는거죠
자세히 보면 종업원 얼굴-> 몸이 아니라 얼굴->허공으로 시선을 옮기고 있어요
시선을 돌리는 것은 제대로 마주보고 말할 용기는 없으면서 전화로는 막대하는 사람들을 표현한 것 같고요, 연기가 몸을 감싸고 마치 몸을 핥는 것처럼 불쾌한 형상을 하는 것으로 봐서 음담패설이 맞을 것으로 짐작되네요..

짧지만 강렬하게 몰입되고 너무 공감되네요...
