Thankyou. The music is brilliant, singing never be Mark's of course, lol. So glad you shared this has I could not go. Still sad Mark has left us, he shall always be in my heart. Love this gentle soul.
@@teressasexton3767 Would not have missed it for the world. Mark and Talk Talk shaped my young life and continues to do so in many ways ....Much love @terassa
I went to this show, it was great. As everyone has noted, you can't replicate Mark's voice (the Montreux DVD is the proof), but the variety of artists gave it a good go.
That wasn't the point to replace. It was family of the other band members and band members brenner who posted it is obviously a relative of simon brenner
1katmuz the concert was awful apart from Orlando Weeks. Felt like it was a rushed attempt with average singers who were flat. Hardly a mention of Mark Hollis?? Was disappointed like a lot of other people. Friend went home at the interval.
@@JesusChristisfake I hear you and agree, they could have said a lot more about Mark Hollis. I didn't enjoy some of the singers. I did however have a really good night(reunion with friends from the era)and loved the music of the gig and as someone who hasn't seen them since they supported Duran Duran in the 80's, it was the closest I would get to hearing their music live again. Best wishes to you
Me too but these tribute artists just didn’t cut it for me. And hardly any mention of the great man himself throughout. Rest In peace Mark. Thank f*ck you weren’t subject to these guys massacring you’re amazing work
It would have to be done totally different for instance Corey Taylor of Stone Sour covering Hate or Renee another very unique voice Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch could do Talk Talk or Such a Shame a very different way was born 1960 so have lived through a lot of music but have always loved rock music but the 80s will always be there as well it has been said you can only regret what you have done well I done nothing to get to see Talk Talk and am regretting every bloody day just hope now that the scientists can invent time travel before I pop me clogs the world is missing an extraordinary man Mr Mark Hollis
It wasn't very impressive, but how come the main members of the group weren't there? Thought they were more than band members and actual friends, but obviously not.
Yes, I wonder about the absence of Lee and Paul (and Tim). Were they just not interested, or were they not invited? I suppose it was for their each own private reasons they did not attend.
Este es un tributo - homenaje a Mark Hollis, cantante y compositor de la banda "Talk Talk", es una lastima su fallecimiento, era un hombre único con una voz magnífica y cautivante ❤💗💖 También saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Hard pass for me. If it was supposed to be a tribute to the great Mark Hollis, where the hell are all the other original artists who made up the band?? Obviously they didn’t think it worthy of their attendance. Wouldn’t put it past the recording companies trying to cash-in on Mark’s death? Thank f*ck Hollis wasn’t there to witness these musicians & singers basically massacring his compositions. Bloody awful😔
This show proves that Mark Hollis Vocals are simply unmatchable
Let's face it you can't replicate marks beautiful voice....but a fitting tribute in my opinion
Thankyou. The music is brilliant, singing never be Mark's of course, lol. So glad you shared this has I could not go. Still sad Mark has left us, he shall always be in my heart. Love this gentle soul.
Thanks for posting this Alex.

I'd rather just listen to all Talk Talk 's albums all night.😢
Un merecido homenaje mark hollis fue un gran cantante y compositor inglés y además un hombre demasiado hermoso kon una voz cautivante
Total respect 👏 Mark Hollis would be proud of it. Hi from Sao Paulo city Brazil 🇧🇷
The perfectionist that was Mark Hollis would surely have hated this!
Mark will live forever
Fabulous night and thank you for your upload.
1katmuz I must have been at a different concert.
@@JesusChristisfake Does that mean you didn't enjoy it? Why?

I emigrated to nz 10 years ago, I still have Lees famous "monster" drumkit!
Unfortunately it's back in the UK in my parents atic 😕
I would love that drum kit, as I have loved Lee all these years!
Bravi ragazzi
All Talk Talk keyboardists were there.
The vocals are not quite there but a big LIKE for trying! 😅
You're right, but Hollis was one of a kind.
Linda linda homenagem.

I flew from North Carolina (USA) for this. Do you have any video of the first set? Those songs live were amazing. Thanks for posting.
Wow you really was a fan, I could not go and live 3h away in England. You are amazing.
@@teressasexton3767 Thanks Teressa. I was a huge fan of Mark Hollis and wanted to pay my respects to him.
Sadly Mark had a unique voice and I don't know who could do him justice... the instrumental can be replicated I wonder if Adam Lambert could do it.
I sincerely hope you're joking!

Mark was a one - off!
Simon Brenner on keyboards?
Un vrai massacre... Mais bon un hommage quand même 👏👏👏
No deberia haber estado alli Paul Webb y Lee Harris?
