In my opinion as a semi retired hand faller the Pro Mac 10-10 , 700 850 are saws that even today are some of the smoothest falling saws ever designed. I learned to fall fall timber with a 850 3 foot bar no dam brake and no dam ppe other then a old beat to hell hard hat and 5 minutes of basic pointers and told to not kill my self,i was 14 and learned dam quick how much power a tree had. Love to see some one actually still using these old girls and respecting them .
Ah the video that started me on the Buckin Billy Ray Experience..... I was looking for a McCulloch 10-10 video and this one popped up at the top, it was the same chainsaw my grandfather had when I was a kid......god I miss him so much.
Good advice with blipping the throttle , helps keep them cooler. Helps cool the piston , rings and everything a little. I always laugh at guys who run stuff supper hard then just shut them off . They get hotter after there off and cook a little , over time that's wear ! Good job .
Yes , yes , yes , I just bought one yesterday at an auction for $85 plus $30 for gas there and back. It's in very good shape with a nice bar and chain , the bar was black crinkle coated. I fired it up and blasted through 14" pine and oak and was laughing at how great it cut , I was having a good old x . I live in northern michigan and have only ever had a couple cheap piulans but used stihls and huskys . I'm a dirt bike , and car guy , plus a machinist and I'll tell you I felt like this saw has major balls / torque for its size. Haaaa HAAAAAAA , A BLAST from the past for sure. Would whip any poulans ass I've I've seen or heard about !

Buckin Billy Ray I jus picked up a Pro 10-10 for 100$ and a super 2-10 for 50$ and they run!! Going to be having lots of fun soon hehe. Man I love these saws!!

i got the pro mac 375, put a new coil in it, only thing now i gotta find out whats with the kill switch not working ( or i didn't attach the ground at the coil, other than that she purrs, that and getting spar air filters getting hard to find. wonder if there's some filter paper i can get and just cut em to shape. old McCulloch's are the way to go, i recon.

i reckon its comin' from where the fuel line goes in the tank in the air box, put fuel in it ,pop off air cleaner tip the saw bar up and just look to see

Ok buckin I put fuel in the 1010 and its leaking into the intake side so I'm going to see about replacing that gasket on the tank or have you an idea

Those old saws didn't have an automatic bar oiler, they have manual pumps, he's pumping bar oil.
They do have auto oiler just give it bit more shot of lub hurts nothing
