Have you ever used a cross cut saw. My Dad and I have used one to cut a pile to length for a corner post for a fence. We also used it to cut a log of styer foam. It cut it, but was not the best solution.
A hot wire is the best way to cut foam. Jumper cables attached to each end of steel wire melts through very well.

Oh wow I thought that was a 57cc PM 10-10 S. That thing pulls like a mule for a 54cc Mac. The 10-10S is a slightly higher revving 57cc saw. Basically the same as a Pro Mac 55.
I lightly ported my 10-10s and it pulls a 20" full chisel ground chain hard even in big dry red oak. It will rip the tips off of the chain before it runs out of power.

Why do you always pull the cord out some before shutting off the power saw?

Buckin, (not related to this video) but for those of us that are self taught (maybe not correctly) one time can you show us how you rig a tree to climb.

Here in Pennsylvania most folks run short bars. I’ve taken to longer bars like our Canadian brother Buckin. My saws cut faster and smoother. Try it out! Also, do what Buckin saws about sharpening your chains. And above, love wins. Thanks Buckin!

Did you clear a spot for Donny yet:) Any idea where you will locate your porting bench?
Please think about a separate area. Metal dust is very bad for your lungs, eyes and is not treated well by an MRI machine!!!
Face mask, eye protection, face shield and noise cancelling headphones should be considered.
Sealed containment area, excellent work bench vacuum system with excellent lighting and temperature control. Lights with a high CRI Index - Color Rendering Index. High CRI lighting where any detailed work is being done. Operating, drafting, medical fields, research & development areas etc...
Proper Planing will Prevent Piss Poor Performance. The 6 P's the old timers drilled in my head as a young man. I worked hard for them everyday so they would share their years of wisdom with me. It works!!!
