This is insane, it’s not even close to bing a main part of the game and there’s this much detail, like the apartment in the dark zone, it connects the game and real life, an insane 4th wall break, it gives me the same feelings as when I was a kid in Disney playing the phineas and ferb game.
Yep. Loved every page. My only disappointment is that April lost Doug Sutton's Super 90. In the Division world a decent weapon is life. She was so careless with it quite a few times. Honestly, I would like a linear semi open world game based on the events of Broken Dawn following April and Diaz. That would be so dope.
2 Adds popped up and I was like : that’s the least we could do for this guy, and then I watched both of the fuckers! Great job, buddy. I love it even tho I haven’t played The Division 2 because I was disappointed by its pvp.
Div 2 is great lol what is wrong with it you still have flexibility in builds. The only difference is stats . I have my PVe set . Where so much gear is trash however pvp every piece of gear has value. I love going to the den daily to get my gear from the locker in dz
I skip the ads not because I wouldn't support the guy, because they sometime cut in as something important or interesting is being said....oh what thats everything in the video. XD
I’m honestly surprised these games are still being played I never really got into it because I was always tired of being instantly killed because someone had an “op” build but ive also always liked these videos and I’m surprised I stumbled upon this one so soon I can still enjoy the lore and other people playing it even if I don’t
It just one of those games where you take the time and keep tweaking your gear and there will always be some players that are always better but that's my experience
I get your pain man, your best bet is the unoccupied dark zones so you get normalised stats so it’s somewhat fair, even then I find it still being abit meh. A update is coming out soon that makes gear easier to read and put together
I avoid the pvp aspect as there was nothing really special about it that could outshine out how toxic and cruel other players could be .I've had quite a few times in the Dark Zone that made me swear only under certain reasons would i step back into them.
Thanks for the stories update on other agents, excellent work as always! Just the journey from NYC to Ann Arbor already worth as story mission DLC content.
Cedric Doster Diaz was KIA by a Wyvren Lookalike. In Div 2 if you look at collectables, check found footage, the “Helmet Cam Footage” Vid has A SHD Agent without a Watch holding out a a Fuel Reserve Dock with a small team of JTF, before the Black Tusk break their defences and Headshots Diaz, executes the JTF then proceeded to take the fuel
Amazing Video again show. really like it (feels a bit like you have the script pulled out of my head ;D ) Cant wait for another video. Will you do Dunne, Heather and Brain too? (or have you done it already ^^°)
Not long finished Broken Dawn and now Im reading through New York Collapse as the Coronavirus spreads... It's a little too eerie and has me feeling like a Pre April Kelleher 😕
Yeah the black tusk are everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if the LMB joined the BTSU since Charles Bliss help funded the tech. You can see the connection in Grand Washington Hotel mission
Hmm, Ann Arbor... I suppose wishing for an expansion or sequel game which takes place in the Detroit area would be a bit silly, but I'll do it anyway. I'd be stoked to see some familiar areas in this universe. Hell, half of the city still looks like a burned out ruin, so Massive wouldn't even need to do much work making it look abandoned. Granted the downtown area has improved a ton in the last decade, but the rest still looks like those pictures you see of war torn European cities during WW2.
Whatever happened to the initial premise, where division agents were secretly recruited and trained as sleeper agents, despite most having no prior military or law enforcement background? I find the descriptions of April weird. “She’s not a division agent” How would we know that at first glance? Agents came from all sorts of different backgrounds. Was this ret-conned?
Our agent has single handedly take down black tusk multiple times disabled the cleaners. Rikers, LMB, rioters, part of the hunters, true sons, hyenas and outcasts
Destiny has the same problem, I imagine it’s that with story, you need to set the correct pacing, make it long/short enough to for a game, and have your character not move too far story wise because it wouldn’t be able to fit on the map, not to mention the missions all need to take place in interesting locations on the map while still making sense from a gameplay/mechanic stance. Your character is also silent which essentially removes the possibility of him being interesting. With lore you have a lot more room to play with, you can make the characters who you want, make their stories however large you want, and create very specific combat scenarios to play out interestingly, like when in the video the bandit swings his knife wildly at the agent and pulls him down from the horse forcing him to let go of his strap, and you can make resources and injuries important to worry about as they wouldn’t be able to from a gameplay perspective. Your character can’t “feel tired from walking all day” or “need a rest from getting a concussion” Your character also doesn’t really have a specific division role or complex relationships like they do in lore, because in game your just moving about the map unpredictably shooting everything, how would you make an op agent who can kill waves of elite forces effortlessly, never once failing a mission once interesting? and having roles like you would in a more linear game won’t work, being the guy who patrols the perimeter won’t work as a game as it would in lore. It’s also an mmo which means they need to make the story in an easy to follow way that will allow for a steady flow of new content and the game can last for as long as possible, in other words the story needs to be dragged out for as long as possible so the game content can be as well
@@kakarrot5115 it was rhetorical.. and it averages 500 players a day in Steam. To throw it into perspective, Half Life (original) has 800 a day average 😁
Division lore is my crack and you are my dealer.
I love the Division's universe, and these story tellings just makes it more... Colorful?... for me
It gives the game's universe a sense of realism, like it's actually real.
Grants it more life as it brings everything from the games, books, and comics together and shows what we know thus far.
@@EmporerAaron Agreed
Well, it is a Tom Clancy game so a degree of realism is to be expected.
The Division should be a TV or movie series! Love the lore and storyline!
There was a hint of a movie
it's coming to netflix soon...actors were named
Duane Clarence there’s a tv series that just finished up called “The Last Ship”, similar premise, worth a try. 4 seasons total
@@Rolling_panda84 made by the sci-fy channel means that some of it just looks amateurish, but otherwise it's a good series!
Miniseries funded by Netflix or HBO. Hell yeah.

This is from the book Tom Clancy's The Division: Broken Dawn...a fantastic read
Agreed. So glad I read it. Here's hoping we get more books set in The Division universe.

I read it! It’s great.
Agent Diaz was one hell of an agent.
"I'm going to sleep. If you want to punch my ticket..." Brilliant...
The story alone can be a mini series
This is good. I’m gonna watch all your agent stories

The broken dawn book was a great story leaving me wanting more information and the characters
I feel more excited about finding Ike Ronson than Keener because of the book
You probably saw it, but you got a nice shout out on the last State of The Game video for your Division lore videos. I know I've enjoyed them.
Another great story, you really do tell them well, "may be you do a audio books". Great story, I love them all thanks.😊

We need more like this!
Awesome videos always man keep it up!!
Thank you for giving us updates and engaging details
Awsome video as always
I'm almost certain Jake Gyllenhaal's playing Diaz in the Division Netflix movie as a followup to this story.
I’m actually imagining someone along the lines of Jon Bernthal or some other Hispanic actor
JD pardo
I hope they will bring out a sequel book that reveals what happened to April, Diaz and Ike. Or maybe a hint in the games
Who knows? Maybe we'll get some info in the Episode 3 DLC when that drops in February.

Between the two stories that sounds like this will make one hell of a main mission
hearing this makes me hope that the Division 3 will be cross country open world, like Death Stranding or The Crew 2 but with the Division
