During covid we were using Hettich, hardware resources, Blum,Saliche and Grass.
Occasionally 1 kitchen would have 3 different brands.
Agreed with a single brand, nail your processes.
Then use jigs for your fronts and hinge plates.
Blum with rear mount height adjustment is nice for inset drawers.
Doors ,drawers, pullouts and finish are discretionary. And dependent on your needs and capabilities.
Moving boxes around to and from finishers or storage can burn through time ....and risk damage.
Drilling for pulls is always better in the shop, but can be done in the field.
Wax paper helps avoid lacquer that hasn't cured from sticking.

had the same problem with covid and switched to Salice, I found that I like the hinges better they adjust better than the Blum and they're $2 a hinge less, I use the grass dynapro slides, have for years because they were the first to have the adjustable locking clip, Have you tried the salice f70? They're the best on the market but the are a little bit of overkill on smaller drawers.

Yeah it was a frustrating time. I haven’t tried the F70. I have heard good things about them

Keeping it simple & consistent is the way. So..what is your tab set back for your hinges set to?

Consistency is key. I have it set at about 6mm

Would you be willing to do a video on finishing? How is the hole that the line boring machine makes? Is it clean and crisp or does it leave little hairs like the kreg shelf pin jig? Do you have any experience with the festool LR32 system? I've done some built-ins with shaker style doors and had paint cracking in the joint between the panel and the stiles and rails, any finishing tips on preventing that? Thanks for all the informative vids.

Have you heard of “Pearls” by Charlie Karp. You should check it out and implement it in your cabinets. There’s a learning curve but once you’ve figured it out, you will be more efficient. I don’t use the whole system exactly like he wrote it but I adapted to make it work for me.

      Haven’t heard of it

Funny story ( I never caught your 1st name) anyway 6 mo ago I am hired to reskin a kitchen. I do 46 doors switching out old hinges for euro? Blum 110 degree and I took all the doors and drilled the 35 mm cups. The lady was great just missing the broom she rides? I mounted 4 big stainless pullouts , made a garbage bin cabinet after cutting into the counter and made a custom 37” delta sink box for a 160 pounder farm sink. She got made because I made noise? And when doing the crown she thought it was wrong? How I was mounting it? So the husband being a DIY’er took over and I got my check stating “ oh yeah super simple you got it”?
Now they will not send me pics for my page? They will not talk to me?
Last I heard it was not as easy as they thought it was?
