I agree with the benefits you mentioned of learning French in Canada. But I think 8 months is an unrealistic timeframe to reach B2, it might work for few but that’s the exception I would say. Specifically if one is learning French with a full time job or other commitments, I would say at least 1.5 years of high motivation and dedicated efforts is a more realistic time frame.
Thank you for watching the video. I agree totally that it depends upon the circumstances of an individual🙂 Proud to share the latest success story: instagram.com/reel/C532_oCSZYb/?igsh=eHdiYWdhNGF4bjdn ==> A working Student who managed to complete the TEF journey just within 8 months and nailed TEF in the very first attempt! thanks for advising on the importance of French in our country. Quebec in particular offers a lot of advantages to newcomers provided they speak French, both professionally and socially. In fact it is a rather difficult life in our province if one doesn't speak the language. good luck with your French adventure!
Your video is really informative, but I have two questions. First, do we need to start with the DELF before taking the TEF? Second, At what proficiency level in French can I earn 50 points?
DELF is a lifelong diploma. You don't need a DELF certificate before you take TEF. Thus you can take TEF without giving DELF. For 50 points you need to have CLB 7 in each module. This corresponds to B2+ level.
Hello I am struggling with french from 6 months and i think that still i have A2 level im devoting my 3-4 hours every day but i dont know how to achieve b2.
TEF or TCF are the name of the exams like we have IELTS /CELPIP, whereas English is the language that you learn. Similarly, you learn French and then decide which exam to take. You can learn standard France French and it will suffice. Merci 🙂
Hi! thanks for the video. I´m studying English because I´m a Spanish speaker. I have reached b1 level. I would like to know if I can start studying French with you with my level of English. My better English skill is listening. I want to find a job in Canada from abroad.

Hi, i have studied french for 6 years in high school in india, what do you think is the level of french at a high school level, basically where would i be starting from? A1,a2 ?
