    When you talked about not getting points if we don’t pass a certain level in all four sections of the test, it made me wonder which province you were trying to go to? So far I thought it was Québéc, but when I checked the points after entering Arrima, even for b1+ there are some points considered, that is if I’m not wrong.

    • @tanusharma01
      @tanusharma01  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      B1+ also gives a few points but I was targeting to get the max points (72) so targeted B2+ / C1 and finally I got 68/72

    Hi I wanted to know something.
    1)As you know we have been speaking Hindi since our childhood and have reached such a stage where we can have conversation about any topic.But for french are you comfortable like having conversation in any topic?
    2)Most of the times,I translate from English to French which is stopping me to become fluent,any solution for this?

    • @rs218
      @rs218 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is in response to your 2nd question - avoid watching/reading/listening/writing/speaking anything in Hindi/English and instead, invest in doing all of those activities in French. Next, if you get stuck with a new word/verb, refer to Google images or a french dictionary instead of conveniently using Google translate. I firmly believe that there are no shortcuts here. Hope it helps.

    • @tanusharma01
      @tanusharma01  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As an absolute beginner it is natural to translate from English to french. However, as you practice on various topics, translation practice would fade away with time. It is important to make a conscious effort to surround yourself with the content in the target language. All the best 👍

    Hi Tanu
    I found your videos very useful and wanted to ask you few questions.
    I am a beginner and have enrolled myself in Allaince Francaise in A1.1 beginners level course in April 2023. Just wanted to ask you is it really necessary to learn french language from any particular institute? Can't we learn it from italki or other similar platforms to clear DELF/DALF/TCF or master C level french ? I mean is it important to have a degree from any recognised institute?
    Also, I wanted to ask you that my classes with Alliance Francaise has not started yet. So do you think it will be benefitial if I'll start my classes on italki with french tutors? I mean I don't know anything in french, just few words which I have learn from Duolingo. So do you think I should start taking classes on italki? Or should I wait for a month and then take classes on italki??
    I only have an year to master C level french and I don't think I should be reliable only on this institute, so need your guidance.
    Plz answer back to my queries.
    Thanks😊

    • @tanusharma01
      @tanusharma01  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Sonal. It is not necessary to complete each level with some institute such as AF in order to clear any French exam. It’s good that you’ve joined AF, it will help you to stay consistent with your language efforts but as you rightly said don’t just rely on that because there would be limited speaking and writing opportunities. You should complete A1 level and do some additional study apart from AF, and after that you can consider taking 1-2 private classes on platforms like italki. At this stage you would be able to form some basic sentences so can take max benefit out of private classes. All the best 👍

      B2 can give you 10-12 points. B2+ in each section will give you 62 points.

    Hi, can you please let us know how many Vocab words and verbs I need to know for b2+ level. Some people says 3000-5000 are enough but some says minimum 18000 words are required to speak/write french fluently. Please provide an approximate number as per your opinion. Thank you:)

    • @tanusharma01
      @tanusharma01  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I’m afraid I never focused on the count of words/verbs so won’t be able to give you the exact answer to your question. I tried to cover the vocab on almost all the topics that we generally get in the exam (for both speaking and writing topics) and completed Edito till B1 level and I found it enough.

I always follow ur advice but now i am confused 😢. Please give ur opinion about this , is this Verbatim really important ?

      Thanks a lot, Sandeep! I’m glad you find my videos useful :) yes, verbatim is important. It comes under “wide range of vocabulary” criteria which is extremely important. Try not to repeat the same word more than max twice and same expression only once. All the best 👍

    Hi Tanu!!
    How to know that I am ready for the exam according to prepmyfutur mock tests? I did the bilan 2 and it was quite tough. I was able to get 62% I.e 31 correct answers in CE. In one of your comments, I read that you were ready for the exam when you scored close to b2+. Thank you for your advices.

    • @tanusharma01
      @tanusharma01  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have just started attempting mock tests, you’ll find it tough. Just find your weaker areas / sections and work on them. This is exactly what I did and slowly I was able to score much better and got even more correct answers in the exam then I did in mock tests. All the best 👍

      French people pronounce R differently and there are many videos by native speakers on TH-cam that can help you to understand that. But I would say don’t stress too much about it and just practice as you go!

    Hi tanu did u give your delf or did u directly gave your TEF?

  • @tseringyangzom5625

    Hi Tanu, I learned French from AF till B2 in June, 2023 and then gave TEF
    exam few times but could not get B2+ in writing and speaking. Once I got just 452 for writing. I am taking few private classes from a native tutors too. It is been almost 12 hours private classes. I am just doubting myself if I lacked classes for writing and speaking. I can speak quite fluent but tend to make mistakes while speaking and writing. So, how many hours of classes for speaking and writing you took and are some mistakes normal even after that? Thank you for your answer. I am trying once again in April or May.

    • @tanusharma01
      @tanusharma01  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Record yourself and practice as much as possible and use your personal class with tutors to get the right feedback.. this is the best way to get comfortable with various topics and make less and less mistakes with every practice. I hope you pass the exam this time with a great score. All the best!
