That's a definite yes wether you love it or not. You made the right decison. Your money is more than safe no matter what you decide to do with it plus your purchasing history goes up. A complete no brainer. Congrats! I just got the "Bruce Wayne" and I love it, definitely a keeper.
it's can be hard, but it depends on your AD. There are AD's where I would get nothing at all and there are some that give you what you ask for within a year, which is not bad at all!
Congrats! Any tips for other locals on how to get an allocation? Short of having the hook ups 😅 haven't been offered anything other than two tones and a datejust at both waikiki and alas. I've been respectfully waiting for just over a year now for a stainless steel model but haven't heard anything from my SAs.
Just go in and say Hi usually when I go in to the store I don't even mention watches or ask "where's my watch?" I just chat then leave. I make them think I don't really want one lol
@@HawaiianHorology I guess I can try not asking for anything but I already know where their kids go to school from all the times we've chatted. Guarantee I never say the magic words or drop the right names. It's just how Hawaii works. Every shipyard worker has a nephew or son working federal somewhere lol
I have never noticed a crown digging in. I am right handed and wear a watch on left hand. When I wind/set a LHD I just turn it upside down and use my right hand.
I bought an Air King earlier this year and stopped by the AD and said I really like the green and black on the Air King, could I put the Sprite on my interest list just in case the market changes in a year or two, and she wouldn't even let me add it to my own interest list 🤣
Interesting. I've never understood how it was decided that having the crown on the side where it can dig into one's wrist is the norm; seems like it should be reversed if that was the deciding criterion. It makes me think that the deciding criterion was being able to interact with the crown using your dominant hand (so it is interesting that that feels funny to you, maybe just because you're so used to doing it the opposite way?). Anyway, cool one!

Absolutely! I was thinking about adding the bruce wayne to the list but then I'll have 3 GMTs and thats way too many
Congratulations 🎉
Thanks
Used to work in a Tudor AD and once they sent a customers LHD Pelagos back to us upside down in the transport box which made me giggle 😁
I have put it on upside down more than I would like to admit lol
@@HawaiianHorology Yes haha, it's like a watch with no crown!
I have Mondaine Stop 2 go that has a flush pusher to set.
WOWWWWWWWWWW CONGRATS!!!! Amazing! Quite the get from an AD!
Thanks it is an awesome watch!

Yeah I've been pretty lucky with the ADs out here

Do a follow up visit… best of luck Aloha!!! BTW I prefer alas

Beautiful watch
It really is!
I have never noticed a crown digging in.

thanks for the tip!
Awesome a LH watch for a true lefty. That’s how it should be. Too bad you didn’t get it long ago. You deserve it more than the rightys
Haha exactly it is a watch made for me!
Not in singapore they still go out the back door to the grey market dealers. They don't even take your names down anymore - just say no.
wow that's unfortunate
Much easier to get now. Will get even easier. Subs are hardly any wait at all.
That's true

Wow that's disappointing!

Yeah I totally agree! Maybe everyone should wear their watch on the right wrist lol
LOL sounds like you are right handed when it comes to watches.
right handed and right wristed lol
By far the ugliest thing they’ve made. Not sure what it is but have the crown on the wrong side is just horrendous
lol
