Let’s face it if the Rolex crown was on this watch and nothing else it would be the best most desirable Rolex on the market and sell for $50,000 to desperate wealth posers.

I have had the original one for almost 7 years, had to get a new and stronger/nicer leather strap made after the original kind of melted away, in all other ways a great watch and has been running at +0.20 SPD with the chronograph engaged, without servicing. I like the all black much better than these pandas, nobody has noticed my Tudor so far, not even my wife! The way I like it.

I have had both. Sapphire ultimately felt off for me in the sense that I felt the design was ment to be with the hesalite crystal. Yes I do agree the back should be cased in the exhibition but the front sapphire glass silhouette I think is too boxed. Funny thing is doesn’t matter what people say, you have to choose right one for you.

Where to buy Tudor 5 link strap?

I'm not a date window person at all, but this is a date window I might be able to read outside of the double sized ones which seem to overemphasize the date. I think it works on this watch better than some of the "lesser" B&R's that use that extended date design.

I cannot understand why they had to make t 41mm, add the double batons at 369 and make the lug-width 21mm.... the 39mm was PERFECT

I love the OP but I just don't understand how these larger brands like rolex justify the price of their entry level models. I mean I daily drive the Ball Fireman Enterpirse. Its a 4hz movement just like this watch, has a swiss made movement (isn't in house like rolex, but its still a great movement), has great brand history, and is known as a watch with great finishing for the 1k price tag. I'd really like to own a rolex someday and Im kinda between the explorer or the OP, but its super hard to justify in my head how a slightly better grade of steel, with a SP-rated movement and longer power reserve is worth the extra 5k-6k. But then again I really prefer to only wear one watch for long periods of time (I don't rotate), so maybe these sorts of things arent a big deal for someone who plans to have many watches to scratch different itches.

Hi i just purchased speedmaster white dail … when i set the time sometimes after pushed the crown back a notice there is little movement forward on the hand minute.. is that normal?

I was on the Explorer I train... but after seeing them in person - the Explorer is a bit busy - and the OPs applied crown is just amazing. Much harder to dress up an Explorer with those large numbers - OP is more versatile.

13:27 The Monta is going for $1500 - 1600 used. At that point it's worth it IMO.

I love the YG and RG, but find this WG to be more versatile. I like the warm tone of WG.

The OP 41 is a better looking watch than the 40 Explorer 1. Arguably, the OP 41 is one of the best Rolex's available with most versatility--dressed up or down.

Not in singapore they still go out the back door to the grey market dealers. They don't even take your names down anymore - just say no.

I picked up the Speedmaster sapphire as I am OCD and try to avoid scratches on the glass. I also have a few watches with exhibition case backs. I love looking at the movement. I also own a couple of Seamasters with the metal case backs. Both versions of the Speedmaster are amazing. You cannot go wrong with either.

My wrists are 6 1/4", im wearing one now. Any man that says this watch is too big better check for testicles. Its a watch not a kettle bell.

Them releasing new variants of this watch kind of makes me doubt there's an update coming in the near future. I wouldn't even be sure if they can make it any slimmer with that movement. Wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of years, Tudor updates the Chrono with an all new movement, no longer relying on the Breitling B01.

I have the O.P.41mm in Black and it’s my favorite watch (by far…) with a suit or casual wear it looks masculine. I think my favorite aspect of the watch it looks great from the side. Unlike almost every other watch, one doesn’t need to be looking directly at the face to be a ‘good-looking' watch. I wear it six days a week, rotating my other watches on Sunday.

Much easier to get now. Will get even easier. Subs are hardly any wait at all.

So I'm trying to buy my first from the AD here at Waikiki or alamoana. Do I keep following up by going there and maybe calling? I have no history so it's a little hard I guess to get my foot in the door.

Great review, are you able to remove the tudor rubber strap from the end link? Im curious to see if you can attach the strap to the Tudor Chrono 22mm endlinks. If not can you remove the strap from the t-fit clasp and attach a 3rd party strap to the clasp?

it's can be hard, but it depends on your AD. There are AD's where I would get nothing at all and there are some that give you what you ask for within a year, which is not bad at all!

By far the ugliest thing they’ve made. Not sure what it is but have the crown on the wrong side is just horrendous

I bought an Air King earlier this year and stopped by the AD and said I really like the green and black on the Air King, could I put the Sprite on my interest list just in case the market changes in a year or two, and she wouldn't even let me add it to my own interest list 🤣

Congrats! Any tips for other locals on how to get an allocation? Short of having the hook ups 😅 haven't been offered anything other than two tones and a datejust at both waikiki and alas. I've been respectfully waiting for just over a year now for a stainless steel model but haven't heard anything from my SAs.

Used to work in a Tudor AD and once they sent a customers LHD Pelagos back to us upside down in the transport box which made me giggle 😁

I have never noticed a crown digging in. I am right handed and wear a watch on left hand. When I wind/set a LHD I just turn it upside down and use my right hand.
