The elegance of this timepiece on the left wrist lies in its aesthetic appeal; the crown positioned conveniently on the left side enhances its visual symmetry. While the crown placement may seem unconventional, it's actually very practical since you don't manipulate it on the wrist anyway. On top of that, it added allure truly shines when adorned on the left arm. Beautiful! Wear it in health.
At least you’re honest mate!! It takes balls to admit you made a mistake! The man who never made a mistake………..never made anything!! I love your videos pal and keep up the good work!! 👊😎
it was today years old when i got the pun on your channel name Watch Eric... Like watch like a timepiece BUT also watch like watching youtube... Very clever !
I have it and, yes, it took about 3-days to get used to. Here’s the thing, I’m a collector and have owned so many steel sports Rolex I get bored after a couple weeks, although, this piece is not boring in the least. The green & black bi-color ceramic bezel is absolutely fantastic too. I had a feeling you might come around my man ☝🏻😉
I am looking to buy another rolex for my collection and I am between the Rootbeer, the Sea Dweller two tone or the Lefty. I had a Daytona Panda and sold it. YES I SOLD IT cause I got good cash for it plus didn't like it since I felt that looked small by being white dial and black bezel. Any suggestions? Need help! Thanks mate
@@joseenriques5791 any of those are nice choices, the Starbucks is very nice. I ultimately flipped by Lefty for a 2007 Kermit unpolished and serviced from Rolex in 2019. It’s a Neo-Vintage classic. I had the same experience with the Panda, couldn’t stand the damn thing after 3-days as it’s a watch for babies 👶 I’d go Starbucks as it’s a very nice green and larger at 41mm than the Kermit. Green is the new blue 🫵🏻
@joseenriques5791 I have owned every Rolex...even the Rainbow Daytona. TBH, I always find the open ended question "what should I get" hard to answer since it's your personal preference. I wouldn't get the TT Sea-Dweller personally (wearing my SS Sea-Dweller right now)...because it's an odd ball and has no historical significance...but that's just me. Perhaps you would like it. I would go for the SS Submariner or the TT Root Beer (I have both)...but the choice should depend on your use case. Do you travel? Are you active? Etc...
I have added to my collection with an oyster bracelet. This watch has quickly become one of my favorites and I wear it often. Whenever I have it on, people admire it and want to take a closer look. It brings a smile to their faces and sparks conversation.
With crown on opposite side , its eye catching watch . Some may first say that u r wearing in wrong by mistake , but it definitely is an attention seeker
I personally never wind or adjust my watch while it is on my wrist. So why does it matter which side the crown is on? It actually makes more sense for me personally to have the crown on the left because it will not dig into the back of my hand 🙄
Dude - love the honesty - said it when it came out - said it in comments on your first review - all the haters are going to be lovers in short time on this piece - and here we are - love the channel - saw it in person 2 months after release knew it was awesome and unique
I’m right handed and wear the Sprite on my right wrist. I used to wear watches on my left wrist until I damaged a nerve and now I wear my watches on my right. I’m used to it now and have no issues. Just as comfortable as wearing it on my left wrist when I could.
Eric I bet you will change your mind about the day date puzzle dial and end up loving it too. It is refreshing to see a dealer admit they misjudged something without really trying on the watch and living with it for a time. It takes a genuine and self reflective person to do that. There are other you tube dealers who would never do that. Thanks for keeping it real brother!
The laziness of the production is just something that gets me. They could at least have done a separate run of dials and with the date window moved and printed matching date wheels, in stead of just turning a normal “right hand” dial 180 degrees. I get it, keeps the production costs lower but I mean really
Nice review! Tried an exhibition model on at my AD. I think one has to wear it on the right wrist to appreciate the real affect. The colors really work particularly on the jubilee. Keep it!! Definitely a serious collectible for the future. Cheers
The uniqueness is very cool. Remember Panerai made an interesting Lefty watch years ago. It will also be nice if you enjoy snow skiing while wearing a Rolex sport model. The Crown will not dig into your wrist when wearing it on your left arm.
I won’t consider it a mistake. It’s very often that your feeling about something is totally different when you gets your hands on it than your first seeing it
A hype watch made for flippers and they are getting hosed because it was a dud. Still is a dud and just collecting dust and not moving on the grey market.
Eric. Maybe I've missed it, but I'm also super interested in you red string bracelet. What is it? Is it a designer trendy type of thing? or is it one of those you wear it until you gotta cut it off things? I'll reserve what I want it to be........... lol
I’m left handed and I’ve worn a right handed watch on my right wrist all my life. No problem for me. Can’t stand a watch on my left wrist. Looking forward to getting the Sprite.
Watching your video Eric I did forget which watch I wear Rolex or Omega... and it was a sub.. I wear a watch on my right hand but I could not make that GMT switch, I will just order the new two tone.
Every time I see this video It make me laugh about Eric walking back his first criticism. Anyway this is a cool watch the color scheme is brilliant and the weirdness makes it special. I just Love things that are unique and different from the pack
I'm right handed and have alwaus wore my watch on my left. Why is that a big deal? I get the watch has the crown reversed which makes sence if you wear your watch low on wrist
Eric, it's not at all wrong that you can dislike something when you see it for the first time or a couple of times before you change your mind about something. Some things take time to get used to and then change your mind like in this case this watch. This is in human nature to have a certain opinion about something regardless of what it is, and then gradually change their opinion. On the other hand, people have more difficulty admitting that they were too quick to judge something. I think what you are doing is strictly done and you have my respect when you admit it. People shouldn't come up with psychs about they were right and you wrong or whatever they say, because it takes different times for all people to like something.
Congrats. Nothing wrong with chg’ing your mind, being happier with a purchase than you were before. I’m not a green fan - but they did a great job with it. Enjoy.
It's OK Eric I'm really looking forward to seeing the OP 41 with the bubble dial in person. At first I laughed about it, but the more I see pictures I'm becoming obsessed with it. I wish I could get one.
Eric the right hand drive is the best GMT! C'mon man. Wearing it on the right is what makes it such a flex too, because it was designed that way. You're killin' me.
When I first saw the release of the sprite online I was not a fan at all. I thought it was far too out of place and was too wild for my liking. I liked the color combination but not the layout. A couple of weeks ago I went to my local AD and saw one on a jubilee bracelet. At first glance I liked it much better in person but still brushed it off. I walked around the store for a few minutes and when I looked again I was suddenly very fond of it. By the time I left it had its hooks in me. Like you say, you get so used to the norm that it’s hard to find something that really dazzles you. This one is such an oddball that it really has that effect on me. I was a die hard Pepsi fan and at this time I think I may even like this one more.
I felt exactly how you did 😅 I love the watch now and currently trying to find the best deal on it because prices are good right now on the grey market 🎉
Prefer the Sprite if they had a right hand version. Only benefit of the lefty on the right wrist is possibly not banging the crown on things when wearing it.
Ooo.... and question Eric! Since alotta guys wear watches as statement pieces and not really to tell time... why not wear it upside-down??? I've even heard some of u guys say yall don't even set the time when the watch is that 🔥🔥🔥
Eric, I've been wearing a version of the Rolex GMT since 1991. When I look at that watch it still hurts my head. The last thing I need in the cockpit is a spinning headache! HAHAHAHAAA
@@Thinkaboutit803 when the AD called me that they will sell me a gmt I tough they where talking about the Pepsi that I’ve been waiting for two years, not the sprit 😂😂
It's ok to admit you were wrong, especially when it's obvious. I like the Sprite, and the weirdness. But, I like the Cermit/Starbucks more, both bezel insert (solid green color and action) and bracelet/clasp.

I like the Sprite too but could not commit myself to getting it because it's made for left handed people and to be worn on the right hand and being a right handed person, like you, I've always worn my watch on the left arm. and the reverse case and dial worn on the left is weird. But I also recognize it's cool and different. Too bad Rolex didn't make the Sprite for right handers. It would be a hit.

Man that Sprite looks absolutely awesome! On my wish list to my AD for sure!!!
Waiting for the call. Im excited to add this to my collection
You weren't wrong, everyone has their own preferences. Glad you're loving the watch! Cheers
If you like the orientation you’d go for a Tudor Pelagos. You like it because it’s 50% more expensive than a normal gmt
This and the Pelagos are nowhere near the same league my friend
I don’t see the appeal with the Sprite. It looks awkward and it would be difficult for a right hand to set a left crown.
Only appeal is Rolex made it so everyone thinks, if they made it, it must be right
