  • This is a transformation from plain drywall to a custom board and batten wainscoting look. It cost about $100 to complete and is a diy project you can do in a weekend.

      Thanks! I am really pleased with how it turned out. I live in Minnesota, so if I don't work when it is snowing...I would get nothing done! Ha!!

    It looks AMAZING! You made this look so effortless BUT I KNOW you had to have spent some time on that prep work. Drawing the template out on the wall is the information I need. Thanks for sharing. 😊

      Thanks for the comment...i didn't really go over the template part because it would be different for everyone depending on how wide their wall was. It just comes down to evenly spacing everything...which does involve a little math, but not too bad. Good luck!

    What about filling the nail holes? Caulking?

    • @chaddiy3512
      @chaddiy3512  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That could be done if you wanted to. I didn't think it really needed it because the nail holes are so small.

    so the finish nails are going to hold up the horizontal boards with hooks and weight from whatever's on them? curious because I want to do the same in my entryway.
