Video is as it came out of drones with no adjustments and was put together in Lightcut Mobile App
The mini 2 wasn't going to win because the lighting conditions were not similar
Can’t see a difference in the quality both identical
Mini 2 se has 40mb write limit
Can you share video footage files from both drone? I know that youtube apply some denoise/compression algorithm and I'm interested to compare real video quality from both the drones

Wish the video comparisons were during the same light/weather… a lot of the se video had cloudy/overcast which made the video a bit darker and on the zoom I wish we could have seen both devices shooting the tower. All in all though great job putting that together. I think both drones cameras are great the m4p has 360° avoidance which is a great feature but is it worth the cost?
I’m going to do some more in depth comparison videos with these and other drones. The 4pro does give a brighter image overall though due to it being a brighter 1.7 aperture

There seem to be some really weird artefacts around the sides of the tower around the 2min mark. Are these on the original video, or a TH-cam compression thing?
Yes and I’ve noticed the brightness doesn’t seem to transition very well either in the mini 4 pro even going from dark to light, I’ll have a look at the original

@@Shooting-Upit was more the strange almost random bluriness - almost like jpeg compression, at the edge of the tower and the greenery behind. If you do/don't see it on the original video in your editor, please comment either way. Would certainly be interested to know. Cheers!
@@combatwombat71 not sure what your referring to I’ve checked both and can’t see it.
@@Shooting-Up OK, interesting. It could be something to do with compression as it streams on TH-cam. I don't think it'd be possible to take a still screenshot. I am putting it down to compression rather than a shortcoming in the Mini4 camera.
@@combatwombat71 i’m glad that you pointed it out there because there are some weird that I noticed coming from the 4 pro, particularly when it goes from dark to light it’s stepped rather than linear, or maybe I’m just being a bit too fussy

I have the original Mini and for the small projects I do it has been fine...not good at all in windy (even moderate) conditions...but ok at 2.7k resolution. I just bought a mini 4 pro on amazon and I did some comparisons at 4k 30 and the mini 4 pro looks sharper (but sharpeness can be lowered a bit in the menu and it is a lot better in the same windy conditions and it handles better (with the RC2 control-I use my iphone 15 pro max with the mini and it's ok)...I like the obstacle avoidance sensors but i never crashed the mini-I don't fly it very far or high and I'm sure the obstacle avoidance in the Mini 4 pro are not 100% every time. I just keep my drone within line of sight etc...I think I'll keep it buy even the mini 1 is ok for light use in good weather just to get an establishing shot-if the wind is not too strong..amazing how far the mini line has come...I would be tempted to get the longer lasting batteries but I don't want the drone to go over 249 grms.. Great, thank you for this comparison. The pro just has more clarity to it, perhaps it's due to the sunnier weather conditions, that provides for more contrast.
Hi thanks. I flew the drones literally within 5 mins of each other. I didn’t really take notice of the weather conditions between drones but the 4pro does give better dynamic range and brighter image (which makes it look brighter conditions) as you would expect for the price difference. But it could have come more overcast.
Anyway I’m going to do some more comparison videos with these and other drones so I’ll try and drop on a clear day which is difficult currently in England to be fair as it’s rubbish weather all the time
