Mr beating bro. How you like that scib bro does your voltage takes dips when you’re at full tilt? I was thinking about switching to that from a headway bank.. does your voltage have to be in the 15s for you to use the scib and if so how did you up your voltage to 15?
@@flysociety1075 it's been pretty good, sometimes when it's cooler outside I charge up to 15.5 and at full tilt I seen as low as 14.2 but quickly rises back to the 15's , these are LTO cells so they shine around 15.3-16.2 I only have a 370 amp alt with two diodes on the excite wire to boost the voltage, I tried adding one more and was seeing 15.7 but alt got too hot 🥵
@@keithbutler7896I'm running a 29AH SCIB bank in my 19 Camry and did a lot of research on it before buying as well as I attend shows regularly and talked to some of the bigger guys in the audio game and every single one told me the same thing SCIB operating voltage is 14.8-16.2 if you're only charging at 15.1 your not getting all the potential out of the bank as well as it can damage the cells if you don't regularly top them off around 16.0-16.2 also when demoing you should never drop below 14.6 without backing off this to can and will destroy your SCIB bank from dropping to low on the voltage I myself charge at 15.8 and will never let the voltage drop that low just a recommendation thought I would let you know before something happens to that pretty lithium bank
Yes charging SCIB you need to be around 15.5-16.2 and don't go below 14.6 without backing off the volume SCIB is just like any other lithium it has an operating voltage of 14.8-16.2 now you can go a little under that but you need to start backing off the volume as soon as you see 14.6 and it's easy to get your voltage up just get a voltage control module from any of the numerous alternator dealers and wire it up to your alternator and I can guarantee you that if you do switch to SCIB you will never look back it's a night and day difference compared to other lithium im so so happy I switched the performance is second to NONE and did I mention that you will get around a 20% increase in amplifier output by increasing the voltage definitely one of the best upgrades I have done
