My Switch, Xbox, and PC have no issues staying connected over WiFi. Ps5 frequently drops connection and lags in games. I don't see any articles about it but I know it's an issue for a lot of people.

UPDATE: Sony has acknowledged the PlayStation Network server issues currently plaguing the service. The PS4 and PS5 platform holder has updated the official server status page to show that every aspect of PSN is experiencing problems. This includes Account Management, Gaming and Social, PlayStation Store, Video and Direct, and PlayStation Plus. Updated at 16.51pm, Sony comments: "You might have difficulty launching games, apps or network features. We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

OMFG. So my WiFi extender was fine until I unplugged it. All of a sudden it didn't connect and was stating 'Failed' I had to Authenticate it for some reason and I did not know how to at all! I tried going into the router settings and nothing worked! Nothing! I changed the DNS to manual and WALA! Genuinely, thank you so much! Stay blessed.

Thanks it worked for like 30 minutes. After that it started kicking me out of games, once again. I give up. EA servers are shit. Your advice works, it literally said you've lost connection to the server. I just simply give up.

I was connected to my internet my ps5 was connected but all of a sudden I tried to reconnect it it says it doesn't support ipv6 but it was working fine last time.
For the sake of clarity in hope to help people if possible. I noticed this issue after installing "Wild Hearts" and the most recent "PS5 update," but PSN servers probably is the culprit. Here is the following:
Problems given:
1) "WV-1091539-9" error pops up when starting something the might need a server connection.
2) Some of the online components start to not work properly. PSN Store will not show some content, account settings not letting you see your info and some games that require online will not work nor launch.
Internet solutions given:
1) Restarting/turn off/disconnect power of PS5 -> doesn't work.
2) Sing out and in out of PSN -> doesn't work.
3) Disconnecting and connecting the internet in the PS5 menu -> works in some areas, but then, it disconnects from servers after a time. Issue persist.
4) Changing from Wi-fi to Wired-LAN connection -> doesn't work.
5) Primary and Secondary DNS change on PS5 network settings -> doesn't work by itself.
6) Restarting/turn router off and then back on -> Works.
I tried all of these one by one. Nothing worked and I couldn't launch "Wild Hearts." The only solution that worked for me was turning the router off and on. After doing that and letting it get back online everything started to work properly allowing me to access the game. This was day one of me having the problem, I've yet to know if this issue will pop again in the future.
sometimes my ps5 disconnects from the wifi saying its an error, when that happens i cant scan for other wifi and i have to restart my ps5 in order to connect to a new wifi

Changing the DNS server to manual and set the IP to what you stated in the video and also change the speed to 5Ghz. It fixes my PS5 Division 2 delta 03 issue permanently. Thank you very much.
It can even find my hotspot. That's my problem. Not can connect.
Posting in 2022: this helped me greatly, I had huge problems, and switching DNS and frequency helped! Thanks for the great video!

@@jacobvilla8224 sure thing. I had problems with connection drops and the PS5 having super slow speeds after switching to New wifi. I chose bandwidth and set DNS settings manually. Hope this helps!

Ps5 wifi really sucks. But I fixed it by force 5Ghz AND buy a $40 wifi extender. Now problem solved. All my iPhones, laptop connect to 5Ghz no problem but the ps5 somehow really struggles and super slow.

I'm going to try the DNS settings tonight. I've been having an issue where my PS5 is connected to the internet but when I try to play warzone it says it fails to connect online. I run a wired set-up but never changed the DNS. I tried rebuilding the system in safe mode, factory resetting completely and a bunch of other small tedious things but never the DNS settings. Thanks for the video I really hope this works.

Make sure you switch Ghz and see if that fixes it. You're router may be set to a certain one by default. That was my problem apparently. Now my software update is redownloading for me for Network features! 2:16
I can’t connect to my 5Ghz it’s not showing up on my ps5 but it shows up everywhere else and I also get other 5ghz signal but not mine😑

Hey everyone! I got another solution this was happening to me and all I had to do was unplug my LAN Cable from the ps5 then plug it back in or if you are on wireless disconnect and reconnect. Hopefully this can help some of y’all ☃️

I tried it, my nat error is still there and my speed went from 840mbits to 98mbits 😅
Thank you for the tips. I was getting so flustrated I have never had such a bad internet connection. By changing the dns and switching to 5ghz I was able to raise it from 2.4mbps to 99.1mbps download speed and from 72.8kbps to 16.5mbps upload speed. Not super great but better than it was. I'm disappointed that the internet connection is so much worse than my ps4 but I've been trying to get the ps5 forever.

I did this about a year ago for my PS5 and it worked. Server for MLB the show went down again this last Sep and its been down since. Ive tried everything on this video and nothing has worked this time around . still getting the "Server could not be accessed at this time"
That manual DNS trick helped a lot
One minute it will be fine then it won’t let me open my game base it will just say the connection server timed out then when I go on Spotify it says your country or region doesn’t support streaming services at this time but I’m in the us?!
