I wouldn't mind the 4-character per year cycle if we got more consistent content between characters. The 5-month drought between AKI and Ed was super dry especially with the lack of communication for why it was taking so long.
Plus some more World Tour content would be nice. Hopefully we get a true expansion instead of just a couple of small side missions
Terry Bogard is a street fighter character at heart . If it wasn’t for the creator we wouldn’t have street fighter nor fatal fury
Honestly I don't mind only having 4 dlc characters in a year pass, as long as we get some consistent costumes for the roster. That alone would keep the game fresh for me.
i also think they need to lower the price, the dlc packs are way too deer for 4 characters
So something about terry and mai is that for all intents and purposes, they’re about as street fighter as you can get without the actual name being attached. Fatal fury 1 was intended by the creator of the sf series as the true spiritual successor and mai is considered a rival for chun in spite of them not being in many games together.
What I’m saying is that because of street fighter and fatal fury literally being siblings to each other, I’d argue it’s as much of a guest slot as adding in final fight or rival school characters.

I’ll be honest I was on the fence about purchasing Street Fighter but now the season 2 guest characters have pushed me off said fence.
5 Characters a year, 2 new stages + 1 returning stage, online functionality for other Fighting Grounds mode, 3 Costume packs , more world tour content, better battlepasses would be sufficient for me of course Im pleased with how season 2 is looking as is so far
season 1 DLC wasn't perfect but at least half the slots weren't taken up by guests.
Street Fighter Alpha 2 is still my fav Street Fighter game of all time.

I cant believe they actually depend on the ppl to make decisions or changes. Its wild how they ask the ppl for example set up vote polls like Harada does for Tekken 8. I agree with your suggestions of changes you selected. Its just surprising about the times where the companies really respond and listen to the fans about things compared to the old school gaming involving the classics where companies havent.

Also: 6 characters is the ideal number, 4 for regular season, 1 for post current season and 1 for pre next season. 1 character for every 2 months is the way to keep players expecting frequent news and invested in the game.
I have the Platinum Trophy in SF6, so they can add who they want, and it won't bother me. Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui are my mains from SNK, so I'm happy as fuck.

The only issue I have with season 2 is that we have two guest characters in a season that only has 4 characters total. This could easily be fixed if instead of 4 characters we got 6, then I would have no problem with having two guest characters.
That being said though.... Yeah, Mai and Terry are the characters I'm most excited for! Just give us more than 4 characters per season, and if we are to get one more guest character,,,, Make it an Arika character! Like Skullo Mania! That'd be awesome!!!!
Let's not forget how much each outfit actually costs, that will be on top of future characters. At this rate the total price for every costume might even surpass DOA5's costume DLC catalog.
I honestly think 4 characters per season is a good idea because it puts less stress on the devs and they can learn what works and what doesn't more easily. That also means we probably will get more seasons than Street Fighter 5. And as long as they give us characters that are essential to the story and world tour (Cody and maybe Lucia) later on in season 3 then they are doing right by Street Fighter 6.
I feel the CAC costume wouldn't of stinged so bad if they were more usable online. Hell in the game data they have stats for the cabinets that are unused. I will be fair and the stats are the same as Ryu's but they're still there. Maybe at one point our CAC stats were going to match the master fighting style we used but it might of been scrapped. In the end as cool as the CAC are the dlc costume they got needed to be given to cast members for the lack of usability the cac have online

Sad to say, but despite taking up half of the pass, I'm more excited for Terry and Mai than I ever will and could be for Elena and especially Bison.
I get you gotta appeal to the oldheads and all, but it's crazy to me that we really can't go one game without characters like Blanka, Cammy, or the aformentioned Bison, yet me as a SFA3 and 3S fan has to get on my knees, pray and wait for the CapGods to hopefully notice my pleas and requests for returning characters I'm actually invested in lol. Looking back, I'm shocked they even thought to bring back characters like Karin, Cody, and even Charlie and Birdie back to SFV, but I can't even get Sean, Ibuki, Makoto or Dudley in the base roster or Season 1 of this game. Craziness all around lol.
Id prefer battle pass content to be stuff you can take or leave no problem like Avatar outfits rather that it being more character specific stuff like new colors or skins.
It makes more sense for Cammy to have a Yor skin. It fits her fighting style more and the abs. Imagine the abs!!!! But it compliments Cammy more than Juri. In my honest opinion as well as some analysis.

I Love Terry Bogard. About SF Characters....i love SF Alpha Characters...i miss his characters
We just need some SF3 in the story, Capcom has made it clear that they’d rather back track than move on
How's about Capcom just give us all 4 characters at one time for a season pass and they can do this rotation every 3 months.
You can also ask this to every other company that's made fighting games like Bandai Namco or Netherrealm Studios.
@retroman3960 Bamco is out of touch wild'n almost like Nintendo.And as for Netherrealms it's so bad that not even Ed boon has a comment for what happened he litteraly went dark.NS straight up doesn't care about MK or thier customers and pander to the next level.
It takes minimum a year and a half to completely develop a single character. And that's already by putting multiple teams to work on multiple characters at a time. Just put two and two together.
@@runbaa9285 Exactly. Capcom isn't the only company that takes this long to create DLC characters for fighting games per season; other studios are guilty of the same thing.

Season 2 dlc characters are 1000x more interesting than Season 1 dlc characters.

Why don't they put in Darkstalker characters or Street Fighter EX characters like Doctrine Dark or Skullomania.
Bison was also a huge disappointment for me, I was happy to never see him again, we need those fan favorites especially Sakura imo she should replace Luke as the mc in the next sf, let's not worry too much about skins I hate when games focus in skins while neglecting important parts of the game.
Just curious, what would you consider parts of street fighter 6 currently being neglected?
@@ghostfrom3s not necessarily sf6 but other games I've played have gone that way, where skins were prioritized over content or bug fixes, but probably extreme battle I'd just like to see more content added in to it

more characters would be nice too but skins dont require near as much effort and the modding community has showed that making skins really isnt that hard

I'm ngl, I've been thinking that.
Im just sad because sf6 and tekken 8 are perfection and yet they both are going into the same exact content drought. At the very least, atleast tekken 8 is adding a bunch of (overpriced) skins. I think the worst part is that bandai and capcom seem to be pretty vocal and receptive to feedback for tekken 8 and sf6, yet neither of them have spoken a word about the very small, dry season passes. It makes me truly believe that they see nothing wrong with the passes and that they think they're releasing an adequate amount of content for their games.

Season 1 is awesome in my opinion. Rashid, Aki, Ed and Akuma is a great addition to the roster. They are all have a unique play style of their own. Three of them are not players favorite like Akuma, but Capcom reinvented them greatly
Yeah I have no issue with Season 1's DLC, it's the lack of content in between each DLC Character release that's the main problem
Season 1 cast was lackluster. Only actual showstopper character was Akuma.
Rashid and A.K.I belong to a vanilla mid season 2, and Ed belongs to a boring season 3. Season 1 should have been the OG bosses, at least Sagat and Bison.
I'm glad they're going ham on Season 2, and let it be the sign for a change in this aspect.
