    In this episode, John will give you a detailed comparison of these two cold press slow juicers that are both vertical single auger juicers but has a self-feeding hopper and the other has the largest and easiest feed chute to feed in the fruits and vegetables manually. Each of them has its own set of pros and cons that should be considered before your purchase.
    First, you will learn about the availability of the REVO830 in the USA. You will learn which of these juicers is John's favorite juicer and why.
    Next, you will learn more about the companies, Kuvings and Nama as well as the warranty length and cost of each machine. You will also learn about the accessories that are included with each machine including sorbet-making attachment and smoothie attachment. You will learn which juicer offers better cleaning brushes and a recipe booklet.
    Next, John will take each of the juicers apart and share with you the differences between the different parts. You will learn which part John prefers on each of the juicers. You will learn about all the differences between these two juicers including the way the juicer works.
    You will learn which of these juicers is easier to clean, as well as some of the downsides of the Nama J2 as well as the Kuvings REVO 830.
    Next, you will learn how easy it is to assemble the Nama J2 and Kuvings REVO830 juicer. You will see which juicer is easier to assemble.
    Next, you will learn how loud each of the juicers is in decibels. They are very close in the terms of how loud they are when operating.
    Next, John will juice Carrots, Apples, and Beet in both the Kuvings REVO830 and the Nama J2 and show you how long it takes, and share his honest opinions about the juicing process in the Kuvings REVO 830 and NamaJ2.
    You will learn which juicer stopped when juicing beets and which juicer took less overall time to juice.
    You will then discover how much pulp the J2 and REVO830 juicer put into the juice.
    Next, John will taste-test the juice and share his opinions about the juice made by each of the juicers. You will learn which one he likes more and which one contains more fine-gritty pulp.
    Finally, you will learn what you need to clean when you are done juicing in the Nama J2 or the Kuvings REVO830 Juicer. You will find out which juicer is easier to clean. Finally, you will learn John's final thoughts about both machines and share which one he would purchase.

    I just bought a Nama and I love it. However, after juicing for 30 years and owning many juicers, I feel the Nama is overpriced. It’s very “plastic feeling” from the knob to the containers. However, it’s very convenient, and does a good job juicing tho!

    for anyone wondering about the warranty on nama 2, it does have 15 year warranty on all parts. He does mention it on one of his other videos. it is also on their website. In the bottom of the page, under warranty, it says 15 years on the motor, but if you click on "more," then it gives the full warranty info. However, the instruction manual still says 2 years on non-motor but this could just be an older manual. I am returning my Kuvings Revo830 b/c of the time it takes to clean. Also requires some strength to remove the top part, hence the wrench. I don't think I'll ever use the sorbet strainer. The convenience of being able to flip open the bottom of the pulp extractor chute is a game changer. So much easier to clean.

    Hey John....
    Nama recently put out a strainer to strain the pulp it sits right on top of the juice collector. I picked this up and for me its worth it. Heads up this is not a fine mesh strainer. These holes are larger but once again it serves it purpose.

    Mr. Kohler, your videos continue to be valuable. I really get the appeal of the vertical slow machines, but are you still recommending the horizontals, such as the Solostar 4 and 900HDC if someone is juicing 70% or more leafy greens?
    Thank you!

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I would still recommend a horizontal auger for people juicing large amounts of leafy greens, as verticals can still clog, and will aerate the juice more than a horizonal. My favorite horizontal juicer is the Sana 727, which is great for juicing mostly greens or even all greens. Vertical juicers can clog when juicing greens, as well as not juice them as well since they tend not to grind as well, plus they aerate the juice more.

    Thank you for your videos! I just bought the Nama J2 directly from Nama after watching your earlier videos on the J2. I will probably return it unopened after watching this review. I currently have both the Kuvings B6000 and C7000. As an aside, I disagree that the C7000 is superior. The C7000 doesn't pull produce in as well as the B6000 and pulp gathers in the top of the C7000 more. The Nama J2 took 2 minutes longer and you still had to prep, break, cut up, and feed produce into the Nama J2. I'm not getting why it's your favorite juicer.

    I can’t buy direct from you John because I am in Canada. I am thinking of getting the Nama J2 as my Vertical Omega is getting old. • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on which model Omega vertical you have. Nama Will ship to Canada and you can buy at www.namawell.com and use coupon code DJ10 to save 10% off your purchase. That being said, if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, and you want an easier time juicing, the Nama J2 will get a little more yield, clog less, and be easier to use. It shoiuld also put less pulp in the juice than the original VRT models. That being said, if money is tight, stick with what you got. Juice quality will be similiar, but overall the user experience on the J2 is much improved. If you dont juice because you don't like the process of precutting and feeding things into your juice, then the J2 might be a good investment if you will juice more because its easier, and will in the end benefit you more.

China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha.This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.

    So hard to choose. I've been watching juicer videos for a few days. Thought I had settled on the Sana 727, but trying to be realistic with myself about what machine I'll use. I'd like to know more about the grit/particulate that didn't filter from the REVO830. • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      The fine grit is small insoluble fiber that was small enough to go thru the holes in my fine sieve, which means the REVO830, ground up the produce to a smaller size than the Nama J2 (or at least made it thru their juicing screen). If you like more "body" in your juice, the REVO830 does more more "body" the J2 will still put some pulp into the juice, but not nearly as much. This is based on carrots and apples and beet, other items will be different.
