I am 63 and the trend that excites me the most are barrel leg pants and jeans. Really want to get my hands on some of these😊
As a 55yo petite gal, so glad to see dark wash denim in. However, there are no barrel leg pants that are proportioned for smaller/shorter frames. Being 5'3" inches would choose capris just above the ankle

The backless trend in both tops and dresses is bumming me out a little. It cuts out at least half of the items being sold for me. There are a lot of women who cannot go braless for various reasons. As I’m shopping for clothes for the warmer months right now it seems like most of the time I see something I like online, I have to click the product shot and try to find a picture of the back and sure enough that shirt or dress is not an option.
I don't know why you can't wear backless but maybe putting something sheer even finding a sheer vest to wear under so it doesn't case to much layering/heat and then a neutral or pretty bra underneath 💕 don't want you to feel left out so I thought I'd suggest as I not long ago had a rash on my back for over a year until I found the right treatment so I understand what your going through ❤

I get what they're saying. I have both scars and a bigger chest. There hasn't been any kind of bra, including the stupid sticky ones, that both offer some support and don't show. When they show it looks cheap.
I basically should keep all my clothes and just rotate it as trends come and go LOL.
Yes. I learned that lesson the hard way after giving away nice garments that came back a few years later!

As soon as you showed those sneakers I recognized them from the 70s immediately. Most of the jocks at my high school wore them & it was the first time sneakers were multi-colored or colorful that I can remember (outside of basic canvas Keds that also came in navy & red ) I wasn't even aware they were Adiddas at the time. Didn't have the brand recognition it does now.
Although I'm excited about all these trends, I'm particularly thrilled about the Silver Jewellery Trend because I've always been a silver jewellery enthusiast. To be honest, I never stopped wearing it.

The straight leg dark jeans are so flattering. I just think the baggy, loose pants are intensely unflattering. Hopefully next year they expire.
I discovered and love the barrel shape on pants! Being rectangular in shape, I find it gives me a shapelier, flattering look. Bubble hemlines have popped in and out of fashion for years now but, unsurprisingly, never seem to stick around for long. As you mentioned, the backless tops are not practical in terms of being able to wear a bra, nor are the tops that tie in the front, exposing skin between the ties, so I won't be sporting either of those trends! Cool color girl here. I only wear silver or white gold. Live dark denim and black denim which I lived in all winter. No bubble hems , open backs, or balloon jeans. I do live wide leg, not baggy.
Only in Asutralia (?) do you pronounce Adidas the way you've said it. In Canada/States we say uh-DEE-dus. 🤷♀

Good rule of thumb capri pants that go just above your calf, or just below... These trends are all new to me. I like the bright blue track pants, and the knit vest vs. the suit vest for spring/summer. I really get a good idea of these trends with the models, (yourself as well), pictured here.
I love wearing culottes instead of capris, they are usually capri length but not so tight. A lovely loose fabric in summer will keep me cool while not showing too much of my legs ☺️

First and foremost , congrats on your new launch 🙌🙌🙌….Wow I think I am in a good space in my style, cause none of these trends really attracts me😳🤪. Well one I really like, the open back, and Phoebe Philo has very nice versatile top, with open back ( one of options), and if I would be in my 30’s, I would definitely get it, but my husband will not go for it😳😱 , but also I , don’t really want/ need that wrong attention( I can’t believe, that the day came, that I just don’t feel like wearing cropped tops, or too exposed clothes, even form fitting dresses, I kind of moving on from those too. Just sold my Chanel ones from Greece collection. 🤔😳, I am between two styles ,very lady like old Chanel ( Karl’s era ) dresses and more edgy fashion. Obsessed with Old Celine archives and Phoebe P new brand. Oh so a few these trends I like. I never care for silver jewelry( I am very allergic) Plus I am warm skin tone, so warmer colors always looks better on me. But just recently purchased vintage Gucci Jackie bag with silver hardware, and wow I never realized how more interesting/ edgier silver looks. So now I am looking for big silver color earrings. Never liked animal print, but surprise, just purchased boa snake print top and dress from Old Celine PP archives. Omg who am I ? lol 😜 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I have always been a capri gal. What I am stepping into is the Bermuda shorts this summer, I have thrifted a few good ones. It just something for all the reason you mention why I don't favor the backless top because I do need to wear a bra and I don't have a good back; I rather show some of my mid-section.
My son's wedding is this weekend, and I am starting to plan what will be going into the suitcases.

Everyone wearing wide leg pants has their pants dragging the ground and you'd walk all over them.

I'm on the petite side...I bought a barrel leg pant(slight pleated front) in black but and it looks great with light material for summer, also office proofen (in case its not extremely corporate) and it goes with most tops. It definately depends on the form but very content with my buy. 👍
Love my Sambas….have five pair, different colors, will be wearing them. I like to wear Adidas track pants with suede loafers, glad they are getting some recognition again. I personally like the barrel leg style..something interesting. Not into knit dresses, prefer loose silhouettes. I like capri pants some of the styles actually work great for me…..being barely five feet in height, they hit me at the ankle 😎 As always, appreciate your channel

The only trend I like is capris pants, sometimes animal prints can look harsh or tacky,the open back tops make women look like they are half naked, maybe more appropriate for beach town

Not into the three striped pants at all…😏 Open back is A/ Risc of sunburn B/ Too cold around my back! So a no from me. Silver I like but have realised that pieces made out of dipping in rhodium is never going gray/black…! Thinking of letting rhodiumise some of my silver pieces..!🧐

I live in a big city and never saw anyone wearing barrel jeans until the other day when I was at the mall. I saw a young short woman wearing them. I watched her as she came my way and I have to say I thought she looked comical, like she just got off a horse. I wanted to laugh. Maybe on tall people they would look okay? I'm average height but nope not into this trend. Trends I will participate in are silver jewellery, darker denim and sweater vests. I would wear a capri a couple inches above the ankle like a 7/8 pant but hate, hate capris just below the knee. As a cool tone, I almost exclusively wear silver and white gold jewellery whether it is in or not. I am happy to hear that it is trending so I can pick up some more pieces. Yellow gold does not really look good on me. The few yellow gold pieces I have are dainty and I'm okay with a dainty yellow gold chain or dainty yellow gold earrings but nothing heavy. Wondering if pearls are still trending?

We would have called those Capri pants as pedal pushers when I was a kid....a bit below.the knee.
Yes, I remember wearing "pedal pushers" as a kid in the 70's.
For years I would not wear Capri pants. I got my first pair in my late 40's and decided I loved them. In the hot months they do not show too much leg but are much cooler than long pants. The last 5 years my thighs are really looking bad so Capris really hide all that.....at 69 shorts are no longer in my comfort zone unless I am out hiking or at home.
Leonie a maxi black or white plain colour bubble hem skirt would look good on you and would fit in with clothes you already have a cotton poplin or a linen one they're a really beautiful silhouette 😍

Unfortunately for me anything spaghetti strap, backless, strapless, halter, etc is an automatic nope. I am a H/G cup & it just doesn't work for me to go bra-less & none of the strapless options come in my size or are too uncomfortable to bother with if they do. If you're young & thin & small chested--go for it. But I don't leave the house bra-less & I don't feel comfortable with my bra hanging out. So it's a no.
Bubble skirts are fine when you are young, under 50 kg , and over 180 cm in height. Everyone else is going to look ridiculous . 😮

Capri pants length- make sure they dont end mid calf (largest pt of leg). If I want to appear more shapely and filled out (larger) would the capris sitting mid calf achieve this illusion? Basically just wondering if it works both ways as I'm self-concious of how thin (too skinny 😳🙇♀️) I am.

I love the adidas shorts, and the barrel leg pants. No to a knitted vest in summer. To HOT. I am not a fan of weather confused clothing. I am not a back out sorta gal either. lol The just under the knee is the best length of capris on my body.
The thing about capri pants is that they only look good on tall slim women size 0 to 6 (US). The problem is when stores start selling them in larger sizes, bcos the majority of women can not pull them off.
Oh dear me, not that I dislike what was shown but at age 76 see little that is appropriate without me looking as though I am competing with my daughters or grand daughters. On that note though, don't mind the capris and because so many bottoms are so very high waisted (now) have shortened up several of my tops to a reasonable crop length to balance out my short torso and long leg length. Also as a hobby sewer know that I have a pattern for a backless top that I sewed, gosh twenty-some years ago so shall have a look at it as do recall redesigning it to make bra friendly.
It’s disheartening to those of us with narrow feet-- none of those you show come in narrow!!!

I am also not a fan of capris. The capris technically would’ve went to your calf. These go well it looks like to me it’s right below the knee that looks much better. I might entertain those but anything longer than that I’m not entertaining
I hav quite a few pairs of Adidas track pants. Way too hot for summer. I’m just going to cut off. I did that with some of my wide leg jeans. Instead of buying Bermuda shorts I just cut them off. Saved a lot of money this way. They’re showing shorts with raw hem. Why not make my own.
In hot climate where I live summer lasts forever.

Capris? Heck no!!! They're on every style blogger's "Things That Make You Look Older" list. I'm 5'9", and even I don't want to visually cut my legs up like that.
I do love barrel jeans and pants, though. Haters can hate; I'll be over here all comfy with all that breathing room for my hips and thighs. 😁
I'm also happy to see dark wash denim back in style. I read that all denim starts off dark, and it takes a lot of water and chemicals to make lighter washes. The lighter the wash, the worse the environmental impact. If that's true, more people should be talking about this.

Capris only look good if you have very long and very skinny legs. Basically, unless you can walk a runway, they aren’t flattering in my opinion.

Silver looks weird against my skintone. I don't own much of it.
The open back looks kind of dumb in the examples. It's like an open hospital gown. I have scars and I'm a 30 ddd bra. No way would that ever work without ugly staps showingband sticky bras are uncomfortableand none have ever worked. I'll be sticking to my crop tops.
Even on the models, the capris cut the body line oddly and don't really look good.
I've been having trouble finding the crochet maxi dresses anywhere. That's the one trend I really like. 🥲

If they fall to the calf they are capri pants, so skip that to lengthen the leg. Those look dowdy and frumpy. No to the 80's bubble hem and those barrel anything, absolutely not to animal print pants .I asked my twenty two year old niece and she said oh no no no no....
