I apologize for the late responses. I was unaware the comments were set to "hold for approval". Since I'm not really running a channel per se, I don't really check that stuff. Sorry.
You are correct, the computer came with a matte finish screen and I replaced it with a gloss finish screen. I personally believe the color is much better with the gloss screen. However, by using the gloss you give up the anti-glare properties of the matte finish. So, it's kind of a trade-off. The gloss screen has better color and clarity, but you may have to move the computer around to avoid glare from lights. The matte finish is better at resisting glare from lights, but the clarity and color isn't as nice. It really comes down to a personal choice for what you like or what you need.
Just got this same screen and colours and contrast seems off. Do you recommend a specific driver or profile for this screen? Also, did you have any issue with the bottom clips where they would cause a wave like effect on the screen? I’ve currently got them not clicked in properly so this doesn’t happen. It’s like a cable is pinching or something
Sorry for the delay. The drivers and settings were the factory defaults. Mine had no issue with color or contrast. There's always a possibility you got a bad screen. No manufacturing process is perfect. I would try customer service where you purchased it. If the wires are pinched at the bottom where they connect to the screen it can cause fitment problems for the plastic frame. I had to take extra care in that area before clipping in the bottom.
Right down to the point, amazing
Thank you for the kind words.

What would I use I have Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming I don’t see it on the list unless I passed it.
Sorry, I don't have the specs for that.
Is this the same Procedure for the g7 ?
I'm not really familiar with that model, but I would think it is.
Is this screen better in colour than the one that came with with laptop. The new screen seems glossier and a bit more vibrant. It's hard to tell.

Amazing website and video! is there any such website for regular monitor screens?
Not that I'm aware of. I'm not sure that a regular monitor can be repaired like a laptop can.
@@WanderingMike Ahh I see, well thanks for the reply!
Can you make a video on your delica you carried for 22 years? And an update on your new knife?
That's a good idea. I'll get to work on that.
Is it a 4k display bro
Nah, stock replacement
The broken screen made me cringe
