just bought the 7'11 and I am pretty close to 100% happy. The only problem I have is that the soft top rubs my legs pretty badly while I am waiting for waves. The board I tested and had in mind when I ordered mine had a soft, glossy top along the edges. I was riding an Odysea Crowd Killer before this, and I kind of feel - so far- that this was a grade up as far as a quality, lasting board, but a step down as far as maneuverablility. This will definitely be my winter board, shouldn't be problems with a full wetsuit and small waves.

Move your fin up for more maneuverability in smaller waves or back(towards tail) for more stability in bigger waves
