Your Promise Me quilts are beautiful. I think of how many quilts you have made, while I am trying to get through a single one :(. It is the quilting part that slows me down. It always takes me about 2 weeks to machine quilt on a domestic. So many decisions and wrestling of fabric. Always happy with the end result, but daydream about having access to a long arm. Thank you for keeping me on track every day. Really great when you detail your steps interwoven with daily life. You did how many borders and backs today. ... It takes me a full day of agonizing on a single quilt!

On my grandmother's Christmas tree she always had mushrooms on it. Red mushrooms with white dots and white mushrooms with Red dots. It is a German custom and it is to bring good luck!

That was a lot! I don't know how you do it all. Fun to see you plan and work through what you need/want to get done. The finished quilts are so beautiful. On a side note, in high school our class somehow used mushrooms on lots of stuff. So I always love seeing mushrooms. I think I need to make a mushroom quilt. I will put it on my to do list. LOL

OMGosh! The grey with dark dots fabric is a fabric I have been looking for forever. Please tell me the fabric info. I saw selvage but couldn't see the name. All of your finishes are looking really great! I love the delectable mountain outside border, too! It frames the quilt so nicely! Woke to over 3" of snow and it's still coming down this morning! Surprise!
