really good video to follow along with instructions. thank you for doing this. One question tho. did you forget the TO-220 retainer for the transistor heat sink? I just installed this 2 meter board and re-read the instructions and installed it. fits much better now.
Hi there. Nice job with the install. Not sure I'd even want to attempt something link that at this stage in my life. Just a few criticisms about the video; You were blocking the view to the camera for all of the important stuff. Try moving the unit or the camera so that it has a better view of what you're doing. At the end of the video you showed barely 25 seconds of your contact. On top of that, the microphone was totally blocking the view of the radio. It's obvious that you know what you're doing when it comes to radios - so please try to be more conscientious about making sure that we can see the great work that you're doing. By the way, at the end, I couldn't tell if you were talking to W6TED or WA6TED. I think the latter is someone I talk to occasionally on a local repeater system. Anyway, take care and 73, Alan - N2DRO
