Good morning! "Alaska Brace" is a brand name and of course, brace is another word for suspender. Many work-related relics at this site, I wonder if there might be a nearby area that was used for lunch breaks? The biggest downside to hunting creekside is the flooding; the items are either washed away or buried. You found two suspender clips I have not seen before, great for your collection.

I know I’m (Shawn) no fan of the cold either. It takes some of the fun out of it. Luckily this day it was hovering right around freezing so it wasn’t too bad. New gear is always fun! We are wanting to get the smaller coils for our XP machines to revisit a lot of spots.
@@detectingpa8968 With the addition of those 2 new coils, I now have 4 coils, 6" 11" and the 2 previously mentioned... Aside from a few times here and there growing up, I've only been detecting for a couple years, I just recently retired so I expect to be out hunting more this year for sure, I need to get better acclimated to my 900. Having Raynaud's syndrome, my hands can't handle the cold weather, they feel like they're in a vise, and my Heart condition limits me to doing everything in moderation... That's why I retired at the end of December... Keep the great videos coming so we can tag along with you on your adventures and Happy Hunting!!

I live in Western, NY and always wanted to come and check out that town. PA has lots of interesting history. Only detected there once near Harrisburg at Wormsley Park on my way down to VA. I've driven Rt 15 a million times north and south in your state. Great show again, guys!

I can’t remember the model of my pack but I believe it was a 65. If I’d do it again, I’d get the 70. A little larger but it probably makes a huge difference. I’m surprised how much we can fit into the packs. Even Jerry’s. His is a 58 I believe. I’m totally happy with the Gregory packs. Little pricey but worth it!

It was the Alaska Brace. I guess from other commenters that it’s a brand of clips for suspenders. Brace is another word for the clips.

What are the backpacks you guys use? I saw Gregory but is there a style? I’m looking for a new backpack.
