@@HEYMANWITHJAYMAN It’s probably not as bad as I'm making it out to be. It’s tough when you've been kicked out of paradise, where everything is lush and green. Maybe things will change when the high-speed rail is built.
Growing up in the Pasadena/Alhambra area in the 60's and 70's this is how Holidays looked. Everything was closed. Family time and tradition took precedence over profit. The only thing open was Thrifty Drug stores for Battery's and film.
Nice camera you’ve got there-especially at night! Looks better than most videos I’ve seen here on TH-cam! Yours doesn’t lose focus which is great bcz those other handheld camera a lot of TH-camrs are using does! Gonna check the web to see old pics of JC Penny from old Towne Orange-I didn’t know there used to be one there. Sad to see so many coffee shops in the circle now and that HUGE antique shoppe gone on the North side of the circle on Glassell. When you said how much it is per month my jaw dropped! :-( Great video! Thanks for your efforts! Hope you had a Merry Christmas, too! :)
I love old town Orange. We'd cruise through there as teenagers with our cars. I also saw my cousins apartment behind The filling station. You should see if you can get into the Westminster mall. That was my hangout mall when we were kids. BGHS class of 86.
Back in the early and mid-80s on the Northside of the Circle, they used to be the punks shop Razzmatazz. There's you would go to get your own latest and greatest Doc Martens, Creepers and punk shirts once they close down London Exchange in South Coast Plaza my brother went to school with Perrie and Tim that used to work there 😂 during that time! Good Times back in my America!
Thank you Jay, great video, I miss living in Orange County. Now I live in Apple Valley, it’s like living on Tatooine.
Im sure that area has to be growing by now right?
How cool is that! I used to live in OC and Lemon Grove, CA .
Lol I feel you. I live in imperial Valley now. Man how i miss OC.

It's amazing that "Old Town" in the US is a place that looks like a 1980s suburban business park.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Same to you too

You didn’t mention where they filmed That Thing That You Do movie with Tom Hanks where the record shop was between the 13 and 14 minute mark.
Inside the old Watson's that's long gone
@ No, the record shop in the movie was on the North East side of Glassel, approx. where the Afters Ice Cream was.
