This is one of the "high end" malls in and around Orange County. Brea, South Coast Plaza and Mission Viejo are some others. As it's the holidays, I would like to recommend if you have kids to go to South Coast Plaza and see the huge Christmas tree. Well worth the trip . Another fun thing for kids is The small train in Irvine Park to go see Santa. Happy Holidays.
I remember taking the wrong bus and ending up here in the early 2010s. I love how the exterior architecture is stuck in the 80s but the interior is very modern and sleek. Absolutely massive walking space too. There used to be a family owned toy store near the northwest end of the store I used to visit a lot. Good to see the mall is still thriving in general. I’m a Cerritos resident within walking distance of this mall, and it’s my go to mall. While it’s smaller compared to Brea Mall, it comes alive on weekends, especially during the holiday season when it’s bustling with activity.
I remember when going to tradeschool for automotive repair, I visited this Sears to pickup some craftsman tools when this Sears was closing in 2017-2018. Nothing was really heavily discounted since the liquidator took over. Same prices, just with all of the "going out of business" signs all over the store. I've since moved on to using Snap-on tools, but I miss the value priced US--made solid quality Craftsman tools my father used.
Can't go wrong with Snap On tools for the most part but the prices are extreme vs the old USA made craftsaman. Back in the day Sears was cool with instantly replacing broken tools. then eventually swaping used rebuild ratchets for the 1 brought in & then usa tools replaced with import.
