As a teenager, I suffered from occasional debilitating migraines. One evening in the late 1970s I needed to cram for a college final that I couldn't miss and felt the beginning of a migraine. Desperate, I thought of this song. I turned off the lights and began playing the instrumental over and over while gently rocking, breathing slowly, and visualizing the tension flowing out the top of my head. It worked, and I've never had one since.

The dreamy "flying" mellotron-ending is some of the best pieces in music history, including all genres!
Fantastic mellotron ending can also be heard on "Seven Stones" from Nursery Cryme.

Rune,, the M400 Mellotron is ALL OVER THE PLACE on many of their albums, Wind, Selling England, Lamb, Trick(here playing).. It's here though that it's most famous, also the ending of Los Endos. Just perfect and beautiful!!

Yes, the mellotron ending in Seven Stones is great but not like this.. The Mello is in choir or chorus mode here, something Tony didn't do yet until Selling England. The choir sound is by far the most intense other worldly sound created for prog rock married to the ARP Pro SOlost that Tony uses for the errry ghostly sound. It's that simple. Spine tingling alone with the Pro Soloist in eerrry mode... 😄

    "Hauntingly Beautiful"
This song still gives me chills! I remember being 17 years old, laying on my bed, listening to this song and visiting lands far away in my mind. To this day, this song never fails to send me back to that emotional place in time. Actually, this whole album, along with "Wind and Wuthering", and "And Then There Were Three" remain 3
Masterpieces, that continue to take me on wonderous and wild journeys to another realm!

That last two minutes when the patient drifts into the soft, comforting arms of morphia: well as far as I'm concerned that could go on all day and all night, I would still adore it like the first time I carefully placed this shiny new album on my turntable on the day it was released, 2/2/1976 I was just eighteen, and Genesis occupied an entirely new and beautiful room in my mind that would come to be shared with Pink Floyd and Supertramp, and always be visited by me only with my closest friends and lovers.

There weren't many more albums that I eagerly awaited release as much . Wish You Were Here, Captain Fantastic, Physical Graffiti and Peter Gabriel's debut were a few. This is my favourite track on this great album, the remaining four members of Genesis would have been anxious about the reception of this LP, it is an album that still sounds as great as when l first placed it on to my turntable!

Musical "Banckett", Tony and Steve of all the cooperativeduo play between the band members, this is the least explored, but when it happened, it was magical, between all the useless and made up drama that people talk on social media, there's one thing certain, they both would be glad to work together again atleast once.
"Over the rooftops in houses, lost as it tries to be seen"
"Mesmerized children are playing, meant to be seen but not heard"
I remember having a dream when i was a kid, not that long ago but still far, were i discovered a group of kids that liked to go outside at night, through the rooftops into an abandoned place, a refuge with games and sweets... i remember always wanting to have a group of friends when little, a reliable group to share many experiences together, but it never happened.

Nothing can hurt you at all

    Voices can faintly be heard
    "Please leave this patient undisturbed."

Sometimes entangled in your own dreams

E pensar que esta obra prima nem sequer é o melhor álbum destes génios, deixa-nos boquiabertos. Talvez o terceiro, a seguir aos dois primeiros, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway e Selling England by the Pound, persistindo para mim a dúvida, penso que insanável de qual o primeiro. The Best Band Ever. Não gosto deles, amo-os, ouço-os desde os meus 12/13 anos, tenho 63. ❤

It’s as if one were entering one of these palaces in center of Europe, with the pastry architecture “style whipped chocolate tart” In every
room where one enters, the individuals are dressed in black and white from head to foot. They have this strange absence in the eyes while staring at you.The ceilings are painted, the furnishings are indescribably luxurious and the marble tables reflect the evanescent
serenity of the place! Everything is rigid, until the time that flows behind the paneling, as on the alert ..
