    ----------------------------
    WONDEROUS STORIES
I awoke this morning love laid me down by a river.
Drifting I turned on upstream bound for my forgiver.
In the giving of my eyes to see your face.
Sound did silence me leaving no trace.
I beg to leave, to hear your wonderous stories.
Beg to hear your wonderous stories.
He spoke of lands not far or lands they were in his mind.
Of fusion captured high where reason captured his time.
In no time at all he took me to the gate.
In haste I quickly checked the time.
If I was late I had to leave to hear your wonderous stories.
Had to hear your wonderous stories.
    Hearing...
    Hearing your wonderous stories.
It is no lie I can see deeply into the future.
Imagine everything you're close and were you there to stand
So cautiously at first and then so high.
As he spoke my spirit climbed into the sky.
I bid it to return to hear your wonderous stories.
Return to hear your wonderous stories.
    Hearing...

It was an August morning in 1977. I just left work as a dishwasher in a Diner. I was 16 years old.. It was about 7 a.m. I was cutting through the woods with my portable radio with the weather band. I recalled in my cigarette pack was a Toe Tapper. Sitting on a log in the forrest early in the morning getting high and I first heard this song. Remember it well 44 years later!

OH NO! Why? Due to the fact the band Genesis with lead vocalist Phil Collins had a levitation story at a certain concert in London I believe? What happened at this concert? He had the entire stadium do a "levitation" exercise. All these musicians get levitated to other planets for concerts elsewhere. Pretty cool, eh?

I saw YES in 1979 and it was one of the most memorable performances that I have ever seen. Rick Wakeman was dressed in silver and looked like a mad wizard. Steve Howe was absolutely masterful, Chris Squire was equally masterful and dwarfed his bass, and Jon Anderson broke my heart that night - me being female, I was mesmerized by his voice and the fact that he didn't leap about and cavort as did so many singers of that era. Anderson connected with his audience and gave his voice to them - each of them - as an ethereal and spiritual gift. I fell hopelessly in love and I've loved him ever since. RIP Peter, Chris, and Alan........

This song means a lot to me.. it was the reassurance I needed to hear, that everything was going to be okay, during a time when everything...wasn't. What makes me happy about this, is that people a hundred, two hundred years from now are still going to be able to listen to this, have a connection with it, and still marvel at it. This is our Bach, our Mozart. It's beyond timeless, it's transcendant.

Met Jon and Steve outside of a radio station WMMR in Philly, I still have there autographs .They did 3 show's when they visited we were at the second show.

Being a teen in the 70's, I seen them all Zeppelin twice, Black Sabbath, E.L.P., Deep Purple, mostly all the british bands. Yes, twice, stands out as the most memorable.
