I know, I am a trainer! :) But it is true that increasing your calorie burn overall (through any form of exercise) will help you lose overall body fat. Plus, if you have LESS body fat, these exercises will improve muscle tone and decrease the appearance of your lower belly area.
The video title does imply that you can do these exercises to lose the belly pooch. Which is misleading. The exercises you give for "lower abs" involve hip flexion, done by the hip flexors- Iliacus and Psoas Major. Isometric exercises are great for strengthening and stabalizing abdominals (planks, etc). Contrary to popular belief, this does not affect the amount of fat that covers those muscles. That's all nutrition! 😊✌
I have a hard time with the last two workouts fully extending my legs. It seems impossible to me. Does that just come with time? I literally can not fully extend them and do those exercises. My knees are slightly bent
Ya, it has to do with your flexibility and strength! Overtime you will get stronger and be able to do with with your legs fully extended! Also try some stretches or yoga to increase your flexibility! Hope that helps!

It recommended that you do them two to three times a week. It best to listen to your body and if your abs are sore to give them time to recover!
How long do you usually stay sore for?
People can be sore for a day or two, just depends on how hard the workout was on your body and how well you stretch afterwards.
