I really appreciate you for all these knee videos. They have helped me alot. I would get hyaluronic injections off and on for years. I know I have a meniscus tear. My knee pops or clicks sometimes.i can't wait to watch your meniscus video. I am using the glute strengthening ones right now. I am also walking like you have shown to fire my glutes. When I don't have to think about it, I will move on to the meniscus. I am so excited for this because ai have suffered for years. Thank you! Love and light🧡🙌

I need to get checked out but I think, MCL is VERY INTERESTING. I WOKE UP ONE DAY AND I WAS OLDER. ALMOST 68. Survived Covid 19 which killed two of my oldest lifelong friends and long haulers syndrome is still transient. As my strength improves my body is getting back in balance. Raced motorcycles and I am blessed and will call my PT doctor tomorrow. Thank you

I, like many others, am grateful for these really helpful and uplifting videos. Even your mood is pleasant and reassuring.
I have had knee arthritis, doctors tell me, for about 10 years. Although painful, there is no swelling or stiffness. Rather, it is the opposite. The joint is as if too loose, with not enough capacity to hold weight and control motion. Would you be able to shed some light on this kind of condition? I would really like to hear your opinion.
Thank you again for the inspiring videos.

Thank you, I was diagnosed with arthritis, and it was suggested I needed steroid injections, however with the quick onset of pain after an activity I wasn’t used to I didn’t feel this was an accurate diagnosis. From your description I feel as I suspected that the problem is in the meniscus - both my knees hurt in the same place and both are swollen where you indicated. The pain started after I walked down some stairs after being sedentary with MS for several months. I’ll look for you video on how to address this problem. Again many thanks.

I love your work. And you’re 100% correct. I recently went to to specialist for my knee and not one of them did a physical examination they relied on CT scans one of them and the other and relied on MRI with completely different outcomes. But when I did the exercises that you had shown him I was gobsmacked the pain has gone. It was easier for the doctor to administer drugs and shut me up then to fix the issue. Thank you for your advice

Hello enjoyed the video, from what I gathered I may have a meniscus problem. I have slight pain on the inner knee joint and stiffness and aching in the ankle. I have a feeling it’s from constant rotation left to right due to disc golf. It also feels like the shin bone is slightly out of alignment. It’s Not going away after not playing for a while not sure what to since walking after a long day seems to affect it as well.

I suffered an MCL injury while surfing last January 6, 2021. I'm still in pain/discomfort in the interior side of my left knee. I had suffered a set back in August running/jogging on the soft sand. I have since tried to keep off the knee. Your exercises have helped, as I just discovered your channel. My goal is to be able to bend my knee while knee paddling without any discomfort or minimal at least. I'm a big surfer, but I most like to do is traditional style prone paddleboarding when the surf is flat, and knee paddling is a key component in the sport. I need to get back to knee paddling! Any suggestions? Thank you for all your help.... :)

I recently had a weird knee injury that I think may be overlap between bursitis and patellar tendonopathy. I am very active with weightlifting and running, and I think the tondonopthy developed over time, but something happened right after light exercise that was a couple pops and stiffening of the knee Followed by pain later that day. The other knee also became painful and stiff in the same way but without the popping feeling. The first few days I could barely walk then the stiffness subsided but pin was still there. Since then it has gotten gradually better. About a week before this happened I noticed a little bubble where the patella tendon attaches to the shin bone. didn’t know what it was but I believe it was bursitis.

Thanks for such an informative video. I am 75 years old female and was advised knee surgery in both knees when I was 55 years old. I changed my life style and was able to handle my problem all these years. There were episodes of sudden flare up and had to take time off from work for weeks to get back to normal. I believe I had the fifth kind of pain . For the last one month I am having severe pain in getting up in the morning and putting pressure after sitting for a while , stiffness is so bad ,I can not dare to go up or down . Please do advise how to increase my mobility.

Great! I think I might need to go in and checked out. I have RA and lupus in my 50’s plus I’m a personal trainer. I’m still weight lifting but weighted squats kill my inner knees when I do more than 6 sets. I have pretty good ROM but my knees have always been noisy but most of the time don’t bother me too much. Just when I try to move up in sets like 6 sets of 6-8 weighted reps., frustrating. Both knees swelled up overnight so this morning sucked to walk without medial pain. Stretching helps a little but soon as I’m resting I’m back to walking like an old lady😢

I lift weights 3-5 times a week and have started to really focus on Glutes thinking that might help, still the pain persists. I am bole-legged a condition that has seemed to get worse with each of my pregnancies (4). I am 47 years old. I am very frustrated by this situation. I am a 53-year-old female diagnosed in my thirties with patellar tilt having some effect on the cartilage. At that time I was told that there was some arthritis in my left knee under the knee cap. Ihave been doing physical therapy exercises for this fairly consistently since. Intermittently I've had sharp pain medial right knee. It would come and go and I would notice it when bearing weight to walk. Would last for short time and resolve on its own. It has returned but now I will get the pain at times when I straighten my leg and it can hurt me at night which it has never done. There is no swelling. This has been going on for 3 days now. Looking for some direction since I know it will take time to see a specialist.

    • @epmanualphysicaltherapy
      @epmanualphysicaltherapy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hey RueFitness, it might be arthritis - really depends on your age. If you're over 50, then there is more of a chance that you're getting problems related to arthritis. If you're younger than 50, then it's more likely a meniscus problem. It might also be related to a tibial shift and/or an MCL problem. I have a lingering pain in the large...tendon? on the inside back of my thigh where it connects to the knee--feels strained. Also, I tried kneeling with bottom of feet facing up, toes pointing straight back, lowering my butt to my heels (as in yoga child's pose)....heard a very loud POP and had some relief from the awkward feeling. Been in a brace since Feb 9.

I have pain in inside of my knee which aggregates when I run
It is just below the kneecap and inside of the knee
    What can be it?

I used to have to always pop my knee joint because it felt stuck for 50 years. Now that’s all gone. Haven’t had that weird stuck feeling for a long time.

I had chemo which led to fluid retention and my legs swelled up so stiff that i could not even bend my knees to climb stairs. After that all these years though i no longer had fluid retention problem, I suffer from really stiff knees when I eg squat to pick up something. I really have no clue if it is arthritis to the knee bones or if it is the ligaments. When i pressed the tissues where the MCL (the spot is in the inner knee roughly 1.5" diagonal to the patella). I wonder if the fluid retention has caused either arthritis or ligament issue? What sort of diagnostic test can accurately pinpoint the problem? Eg ultrasound? CT scan? x-ray? Thank you.
