Hi, really good vlog. Are the Pi8’s good at blocking ambient sound when you are talking to others. If you’re on a mobile call and doing something noisy, ie cooking will the caller hear the sounds you are making? Thank you
Check out Flossy Carter's review - he addresses loudness of the buds - spoiler alert - with the right streaming service, very loud (TH-cam Music particularly)
I can help you sir! I have over 100 earbuds and over 75 headphones over the ear. Denon perl pro is an excellent earbuds, BUT the sound is very "digitalized". When you do the sound test to have your sound profil, the sound is good for simple track. I explain: if you listen to Céline Dion, Adel, or song not complicated, the sound will be amazing. If you listen to heavy metal, punk rock, metal, there is a lot of heavy bass, heavy guitars, a lot of vocals and back vocals, so the Denon perl pro can't manage all this and give you a "digitalized" sound. You hear vocals up and down, guitars up and down, and all of the instruments. Oh by the way i speak french, so i try hard to explain. So, if you listen to metal, rock, heavy metal or something like this, you must buy the pi8!!!! I don't use the perl pro anymore just because of the lack of precision, the "digitalized sound". The fit is terrible too. The pi8 is the best sounding earbuds that i have with the devialet gemini 2 and the technics az80 and the momemtum tws 4 from sennheiser. Here is my ranking: 1. Pi8 2. Sennheiser momemtum 4 tws 3. Devialet gemini 2 4. Technics az80 (the volume is too low). 5. Status between 3 anc Hope this help
@@Patrickmathieu0482 IT seems you and me have tested all the same earbuds. So I ask this question. Do you really think the Devialet - Gemini II sound less good then the TW4s? And found myself back with the Sennheiser momentum 3s again. But I must say. in testing the TW4s ,Technics az80, Denon perl pro and the Devialet - Gemini II. But If I had the cash to own two pairs, one for daily commute and one for music enjoyment. I would hands down still keep them just to listen to music. So with saying all this. Do you really think the Pi8 are better then all you listed? I to listen to mostly rock( Indie Rock & Instrumental-Post Rock) music and some electronica and Epic-core music.

It's really embarrassing for such a well-known manufacturer like you that the new Pi8 doesn't allow volume control. Even the cheap manufacturers can do that. It's a huge disadvantage that the PI7 S2 couldn't do that, but the fact that the new PI8 still can't do that is extremely embarrassing and sad for Bowers & Wilkins. I'd rather stick with Sennheiser. I'm more than disappointed. There aren't even any software updates for such expensive headphones.

They are certainly loud enough for me. They're top loud for me on max volume

Less out of the box but if not to your liking you can just EQ them a bit more
