Congratulations on this super extensive, super premium review. You guys put some of the best effort in the segment. You definitely deserve more audience.
The Technics AZ80 is a no brainer clear winner as far as I am concerned. As someone who also owns an AirPods Pro 2, Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Sony WF-1000XM5, I can say that the Technics is second to none when it comes to audio quality, with the wider sound stage, clearer instrument separation, and capable of delivering a super nice punchy bass while maintaining lots of clarity throughout the spectrum. Even for rock and metal it performs excellent, so I would respectfully disagree with DHRME on that. You can customize the equalizer and have it perform *very* differently. The case is also the best constructed I have seen in any device, well thought out, super premium feeling and with the most beautiful design, with curved sides but flat top and bottom, sitting nicely on a desk while also pocketing perfectly on a jeans. I have no crackling noises in the case, as mentioned here, and it has 2 LEDs (as only Galaxy provides) to indicate case and earbuds battery level separately. The three device multipoint connection is very useful, as is its ability to pull previous connections - super handy if you have a dozen devices like I do. Comfort is top notch. Microphone quality is also super detailed, specially with its unique ‘Just my Voice’ technology, which really works. Touch controls are intuitive and configurable. The voice prompts are also unique and handy, allowing you to customize its verbal announcements for each device so it will say if you connected to a smartphone, computer, player or other devices (useful when you have many devices being connected to automatically as you approach them), and if you don’t like the voices, they can be simply turned off, to just beep like most devices. ANC is in my tests undistinguishable from the AirPods Pro 2 or the Sony XM5. Transparency also in line with the AirPods Pro 2. Overall, I think the Technics is currently the Rolls Royce of this generation. The only thing it misses are the AirPods case features: sound beeping, general location and precise location.
How do they fit in ear ? I have XM4 but just can't use them due to their size. Buds2 pro is a no because I have a galaxy but hate this ecosystem trash. Sennheiser are not the best quality also. Since the technics support LDAC I may consider buying them
Actually went for the AZ80, can’t wait for it to be delivered. The Japanese youtubers ranked them as top 5 earbuds and one of the most convenient earbuds to go for (same as Kevin’s reason). And the subtle yet quality looks of it 👌
@@TheNovember Heyy i was thinking of getting the Az80s and stumbled upon your comment after 1 year! Can i ask you how theg hold up until now? And a second thing is the volume anough when they are at max volume or they aren't as loud?
Man I have tried so many ear buds and let me tell you. The XM5's are great. I bought them because I had to replace my second pair of MTW3 from Sennheiser. The MTW3 is top tier, but one side will give out eventually or the case will stop charging (Make sure you clean the ear bubs when putting them in the case). The sound is really good and ANC was also really good. Transparency mode was outstanding until they did a previous update and now it is not that good. Also it was a great fit while working out. Overall great, but broke down on me twice. Battery was ok. Using them on a flight they almost died, but that was almost at around 3 hours and 30 mins. The XM5's are also top tier. The sound is good, but I feel it falls just a little behind the MTW3. The ANC is top tier though, you won't be disappointed. The transparency mode is also "Meh" not better than MTW3. You also hear a robotic/metallic noise when taking calls, maybe an update will address tho issues. I also workout with these and the reduction in side makes these comfortable to workout in. Battery so far so good. The Bang and Olfsen's are by far my favorite. I went along and dished out the cash (found a great deal on Ebay for the gold tone color) to see what they hype was about. The hype is real. The sound quality is GOD tier. I've heard instruments playing the background that I never heard before from my favorite songs. Although the ANC and transparency is not that good. They fall behind both the XM5 and MTW3 by a lot in my opinion, BUT the sound quality is so good that it cancels out a lot of stuff and sounds amazing. Battery is not bad, they are better than both XM5 and MTW3 and this is with ANC and all the features active. Just my little overview of these three buds in my opinion. MTW3 8 out 10 XM5 9 out of 10 B and O 9.5 ouf of 10 ( If it had Sony ANC and MTW3 Transparency mode, this would be the best on the market)
I got the XM5's as a gift and returned them for the MTW3's. I have a pair of AKG N400 and the sound is so amazing, but it's so horrible at everything else that I was unimpressed by the XM5 sound. Hopefully the MTW3 doesn't crap out on me too soon
Had 2 pairs of MTW3 that only lasted 3 months each like you. They say it's splash resistant but I suspect work out sweat broke em. Now I'm using the EX. So no worries about breaking from sweat. I'd say momentum has a more comfortable fit in my ears. Also the ANC is non existent. The sound is even better than sennheiser
Had the MTW3 for a year and half before the right side volume became very low for some reason. Also suspect it’s to do with the charging bit getting wet from my workouts. Swapped to Xm5 and definitely didn’t sound as good and the fit felt average. Definitely preferred the MTW3 if it didn’t break. But hopefully this Xm5 will last longer
Which of these models do feature a fully functioning Bluetooth LE Audio connection? As a daily user of wireless earbuds for work, battery life is everything for me. I don't need fancy lossless Bluetooth classic codecs, I need working LC3.
Totally agree on Oppo Enco X2. Superb sound. Dynaudio really know their stuff. Not for massive bass lovers though. But there are Devialet Gemini not mentioned here. These are on older side but huge, rich sound, perfect bass. Just a bit restricted top end but never muddy. ANC the only one I tried close to Bose QC2. Both Enco and Gemini have superior vocals to Sony XM4 and any premium Soundcore.
1. What about the difference between OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and Enco X2? Some ppl say that they are equalent 2. Does Gemini II worth it's price? Cause it's monodynamic...
This was a well done comprehensive list. To me the best ones on this list are: AZ80, Enco X2, Senny M3, Beoplay EX (refurb), and begrudgingly Airpod Pro 2. The Sony XM5 are good and a little incrementally better than XM4 but not worth $300. The volume control is just stupid and could be a dealbreaker for some. Volume controls should be 1-click or 1-click and hold. Good review, guys👍
Hi Guys. I'm using both of my xm5 and xm4 every day. At this moment, I'm using the small ear tips from the xm4s on my xm5s. Great review by the way. I love my Sony xm5, but I would never retire my xm4s either. I use my xm4s indoor, and I use the xm5s going out. I'm still try to figuring out the setups on the xm5s, and I hope, Sony will change things with the next firmware update. My priority is sound quality, so when it comes to that, it is subjective. I love the xm5, and I also old enough to understand the fact, there is no such a thing exists, like perfect. Love you All.❤🙂🤙👍
This older video but ive been doing a lot of research and im struggling between Sennheiser mom 4,earfun pro 4, or az80. I like bass, loudness, great sound. Anc doesnt have to be perfect.
Easily the most in-depth comparison with the xm5 I’ve seen so far. The Between 3ANC are my personal favorite earbuds in my collection followed by the Senheiser MTW3. I have to say, there’s plenty of other earbuds I haven’t gotten my hands on still, but I’m more than satisfied with the Status earbuds right now
I tried the XM5s and I didn't like the ANC at all. The transparency is also hit and miss. Went for the AZ80 and yes the ANC isn't that great too but the transparency makes up for it. Sound wise, I like the Technics more.
For the XM5s eartips, if they're the same material as the XM4s, that foam will break in as you use them. It's memory foam. If you've ever had a memory foam pillow, you know it starts rock hard and then turns into a squishmellow after a couple of months.
I'm in need of a new pair of buds. I have the XM5s, but they won't connect to my new phone. I think the case is faulty. The AirPods Pro 2 refuse to stay in my ear no matter what tip size I use. looking at the Denons or the AZ80s.
Between the AZ80 and XM5: which go deeper in the ear canal? I've had the XM4s and I've developed earwax plugs because of them. I would use them a lot and the continuous pushing and twisting did the wax problem. So I'm looking forward to something that wouldn't go deep in the ear canal. I've tried the AirPods 1st gen and they are comfy and don't go deep in the ear but I need something with good music quality.
One multipoint related question: do any of these buds allow switching devices from the bud? One feature that I love (mainly the only one...) about the bose qc35 is that you can manually switch connected devices directly from the headphone and the 'Voice' tells you which device you just connected to, not just a beep. For us multi-device users, it's a Godsend.
@@DHRME it's the Bose voice assistant. Super awesome built-in feature. The Bose lady tells you which device you're connecting / connected to when you slide the switch on the right earcup. If the audio quality wasn't so blah, I'd use the headphones more often because of switching constantly between pc / android phone / ipad / mac etc
Well done my guys! Love to see the JBL Tour Pro 2 and Technics AZ80 score so well as they are fantastic buds imo. One thing I gotta give JBL and Samsung extra props for is their Ambient Mode amplifier. That's something that's almost never mentioned in reviews but it gives you so much peace of mind when you want to be extra aware of your surroundings. Samsung took it even further by turning the Buds Pro 2 into a damn near hearing aid! Definitely helpful for anyone who doesn't have great hearing. I would give those two buds S tier for transparency
There are earbuds for every feature I want, just not all in one model 😪. My requirements are 1. good fit (I don't get a seal with my Edifier Neobuds pro no matter which silicone plug I use), 2. good ANC, 3. Volume control on the buds, 4. good bass and 5. EQ on the app. Nice-to-haves are the aptX codec and a price below 200$. Any suggestions?
Thank you. The Audio Technica are a little too expensive for me for the ANC quality they provide. I would like to give the Between 3 a try but they are impossible to source in Germany.
Hi, if we consider the Oppo Enco Air3 (or the Oppo Enco Air3S), Edifier W320TN and the Nothing Ear Stick, which one would be the best half in-ear earphones among these 3?
@@AlejandroB76az80 easily but thd enco x2 are still fantastic especially at their current price. For me the az80 are almost perfect. If they could jusy improve transparency a bit more then they are perfect
I saw SO many videos comparing XM5 and this is by far the best! I bought and returned XM5 because I wasn't as wowed by the sound as I thought it would be (good, but not $300 good). I then bought Sennheiser Momentum TWS 3 and Galaxy Buds Pro 2. Your opinions echo my thoughts. Sennheiser edges out Sony on sound and Galaxy Buds Pro was the most comfortable, but is slightly lacking on sound because I think I'm on iPhone. Great stuff. Definitely subscribing and appreciate your lightning round review style focusing on the essentials
true there are alot more wow factors other than sound quality, convenience comfort form factor all can enhance listening experience/wow, with headphones/speakers anything sort of expected
Dude, everyone sucked the XM5 D. I bought them yesterday to see for myself and I returned them today the sound quality is flat and hollow compared to my boes qt ultras.
You guys are the best! Thank you so much for such real world information. Your communication is so on target! I’m buying new buds during the Prime sale in a couple days. I can really over obsess trying to decide which product to buy. I bought the Jabra 75ts several years ago and in spite of pretty good sound and features, l have had to replace one or the other bud 3 times over the time I’ve had them. I hate that! I’m leaning towards the Sony’s over the Denton or Technics over fear they won’t hold up over time. I really want the Denton buds, but Sony has a great track record. Do you think the spatial feature on the Sony buds is comparable to the sound stage of the Denons with ANC on?
Don't know if any notice and I am sure some people did, that the ANC Optimizer in the Sony app does not appear when connected to to the XM5 earbuds which I felt naturallg they should have kept, especially because it does make a difference to me anyway when using ANC, it improves the ANC alot in my opinion, I am sure theree was reason or maybe they felt they didn't need it.
Guys- I've been told that the Buds 2 Pro work best with a Samsung device, which I have (Note 20 Ultra) however I've noticed that the volume is markedly louder on my Xioami 11t phone. This phenomenon also occured with my LP3's and Jabra Elite 7 active... Have you guys noticed a discrepancy in volume across varying devices?
What other tws headphones have a voice detection function for conversation, and automatically mutes the sound and turns on the transparency mode, like Sony, Google, Samsung have under different names.????
Dang! Great and in-depth comparison. This is a quality video! I love the sound of the Senn's MTW 3 but tired of getting a replacement for these wonderful buds that die after 6 months. I can get the Beoplay EX's for $285 open box so for a Rock/Metal Fan are these the best for my genre? I want the AZ-80s but both of you mentioned they kind of suck for Rock/Metal! Sigh.
Awesome, awesome video. I’m a proud owner of the Between 3ANC and I think that your analysis is on point although I wanna say that I really love the looks of them because here in Italy having earbuds that are super noticeable and stick out of your ears means that you will not be bothered by beggars while travelling 😂
Awesome review, alot to think about. Quick question, I have the audio technica ath twx9, for about a year now. And no matter what I do I can't get it to connect to the app anymore on Google play store. Have you ever heard of this b4? I love these earbuds, however customer service has not been great.
I Own the Sennheiser and for my ear they fit perfectly even when using for several hours. But i have som connectivity issues (in places like Trainstations) and some quaity concerns. the first ones i got startet to feedback when using ANC or transparent mode so i returned them since i love the sound got a new pair. and now like 2 month after the exchange they are only charging when i'm in luck so i'm thinking to return them again....
However, your sound quality acessment of bose qc2 tear A, while highly subjective, is not even close to xm5. Bose has a very strong booming base and not much else along with aac and sbc codecses. Compare that to xm5 with LDAC, DECC upscaling feature and evenly pronounces highs, mids and lows with 5 band EQ! Bose is great for anc, but calls and sound is just mehhh... Bose could be a contender at 100 bucks... SONY and AZ 80 are a clear choice for me. By the way SONY volume just like everything else could be controlled without even touching earbuds with a google assistant activated.
Yo im in the mix i like high volume. Im picking between the technics az80 the sony wf-1000xm5 and the jabra elite 10 can i grt recommendations. Again i like high volume
Guess I can give the status buds a try now---I have been eyeballing them for a long time. Have had Jabra, Samsungs, and soundcores (liberty pro 3)--and the soundcores get so much crap from everyone on phone calls; and the fit isn;t great for me either--find myself having to adjust them quite often
Rohan, i own the oppo enco x2 since more than 1,5 years and i still think they are great. I changed the eartips cause of bad seal to spinfits cp1025 after a few days and that was much better. Yesterday i changed them again to Beyerdynamic Xelento tips cause i own the xelento remote first gen. If you ever have to possibility to try these tips with the oppo- man- great isolation (when you find the right size, that's a little tricky) and also the same elliptic shape. Sounds grazy good imo!
Great information guys!👍🏾Are any of these suitable for 'sensitive ' ears/eczema prone folks? Looking for guidance from any watchers 😊 I use LG FP9s and they're the real deal medical grade there is TRUTH. unfortunately the next gen T90s are not great for my ears so I'm on the lookout for other options....
so you have the bang and olufsen ex but not the eq i understand the ex might sound a lil better cause of the drivers it has but the bang and olufsen eq is the best sounding earbuds to me and i have had and tested alot of earbuds especially when alot of people don't like q tip still earbuds
Great review! I have galaxy buds live , they were just fine but i think they reached their lifetime limit so I'm planning to buy new buds. I need your advice, I am music lover myself, from many reviews I saw, I mean many many reviews and it's really confusing to choose.. sony xm5 , JbL tour pro 2 , jabra elite, galaxy buds 2 pro ...... etc What is your advice : In terms of performance, satisfaction and features... Is the Sony xm5 worth its expensive price if a person is able to buy it, or can be a lot of savings with others options that reflect a good performance in a lower price ? My phone is galaxy s22 ultra Thanks
It is very nice that you mention how comfortable the buds are, for example i love the momentum 3's sound and noise cancelling but i can't wear it for more than 20 mins without pain, also they work by deep insertion in the ear which is adding to the discomfort and if you make any face during lifting or eating or laughing they lose the seal, very annoying, had to sell it and buy something more comfortable, trying the nothing ear 2 now.
Now thats a pretty complete market overview, thank you. I have btw the same connection problem to the app with the linkbuds s and the headphones app on my iphone 13 mini you described with the sennheisers - pretty annoying to be forced to put them back in the case and in the ears again when I just want to turn off speak to chat when I am about to brush my teeth...
Bro, edifier neobuds s or neobuds pro 2 Soundcore Liberty 4 or 4nc Realme air 5 pro Nothing 2 Which is best for all rounder and focus for call quality in noisy conditions iam a driver
I would have loved to hear your impressions and throughts on the NuraTrue Pro. I have them and they make for probably the best sound experience i have ever had, truly tailored to me. But, they dissapoint in ANC unfortunately.
Great video and comparison. I value sound quality, so while I've tried most of the earbuds on this list, I keep coming back to the Beoplays. I've heard good things about the Finals and Campfires, but after this I don't think I need to experiment further just yet and will stick to my EXes. At least for now.
@@ariesalwi2551 None that I can recall. I moved over to the Sony XM5s though. The sound is a little more powerful and dynamic, making the EXs sound weaker in comparison.
Banger of a video. I have a oneplus phone, so the oneplus buds pro 2r(same with the op pro 2 without spatial audio and wireless charging). So everything missing from your review I have it. Would you rate it the same as oppo enco x2 in this case?
Excellent review. Exactly what I was looking for.... On a light hearted note, I keep expecting to hear pop pop popsicle, ice ice icicle, test test testicle. 😂
Surprised Rohan said the transparency is A level on the Status Between 3ANC 42:49. When I used them I experience the white noise mentioned at 43:58, too strong for my liking making the ambient noise sound artificial. Something like the Jabra Elite 7 Active/Pro buds sounds more natural.
Hello...? Loudness... for phone calls. and 360 degree listening etc. I sent it to the warranty service and the first time they sent me a new one and I sent the new one to the warranty and now I called and we do not have a device that will refund the money and the company asked us to inform us that the production of this model has stopped and said that we will refund the money... Now I am wondering which headset to buy. In case I buy it..sony WF-1000xm5. (By the way, it is compatible with the eco system, my phone is Samsung S21 ultra 5g.... I knew that Galaxy Buds2 Pro increases the music you listen to to 24 bit if your phone supports it, but!!! Will I regret it if I buy it? 360 degree feature There are users who say it does not work, what do you say???..PLEASE GIVE YOUR OPINION..Which one should I choose?.Would I regret it if I buy Sony WF-1000xm5. Thank you..
Would love to see more higher end SHURE in-ears reviews as well. And if it's worth it to upgrade froma true-wireless gen 2 aonic 215 to the higher end ones ;)
I went yesterday to a mall in Kuala Lumpur and tried out all premium earphones back to back - only two things I care about - sound quality and comfort. After trying all, have to say Beoplay Ex and Oppo Enco X2 were a league ahead others and were quite comparable to each other. Hence, went ahead and bought Oppo Enco X2 as they were one fourth of the price and these are my secondary earphones - already have Apple AirPods Pro 1st Gen (which I use exclusively for office calls, etc)
Thanks; looking forward to. And you guys are just awesome - such thorough job not just in terms of research but also the packaging of the content into such delectable videos. Well done for such hard and sincere work 🎉
I tried Airpods Pro 2 many times in windy weather conditions and on a crowded street regarding the microphone. I am using an iPhone and the best and clearest microphone sound is given first by AirPods Pro 2 and then by Jabra Elite 10. I think the microphone is great
I still can’t find a better sounding ear buds than Beoplay ex. They also beat much of the over ear headphones in the market! They just sound so good. But ANC is wack and the connection can be a fit fiddly sometimes but if they literally work on those and the mic for the next iteration it would be amazing
Thank you for such detailed reviews! I've been looking for affordable anc buds to boost ambient sounds over my hearing damage, something less expensive than hearing aids. I've seen that Sony has an ambient volume slider, but it wasn't until your note about max ambient being no louder than the outside world took these off my list. I ended up trying Samsung, as they have a setting specifically for this.
If sound is your primary concern get the galaxy buds pro 2. They are a league above everything here. I've owned many of these other products alongside far more expensive audio equipment and I can assure you that they probably punch within the $700-$1000 range of IEM's but are true wireless buds. It's remarkable and easily the best option based on sound alone.
Congratulations on this super extensive, super premium review. You guys put some of the best effort in the segment. You definitely deserve more audience.
Thank you Gustavo!
Definitely a mic drop quality video lads. Bloody well done Kevin and Rohan.
Thank you Hunter!

Super nice earbuds, but the sound is too clean for my taste. Would love it if the bass and treble more pronounce for rock and edm music.

will give it another try at the store.@@daidalos1508

No gemini buds tho wanted too see them well the 2s been thinking about them was hopeful of your guys opinion
I don't even what to imagine the work that went into editing this video! 😱
Just EXCELLENT job!!! Thank you very much.
Our pleasure!
Amazing comparison!! Love all the detail and effort put in, you guys are the best
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can we include denon perl pro and devialet gemini 2 as well
I tried the XM5s and I didn't like the ANC at all. The transparency is also hit and miss. Went for the AZ80 and yes the ANC isn't that great too but the transparency makes up for it.
Sound wise, I like the Technics more.
Thanks for sharing!
For the XM5s eartips, if they're the same material as the XM4s, that foam will break in as you use them. It's memory foam. If you've ever had a memory foam pillow, you know it starts rock hard and then turns into a squishmellow after a couple of months.
This was a very comprehensive review. Thank you for that. Do you guys have any plan on doing a review on Denon Perl Pro?
Wow - fantastic round up, Kevin & Rohan! That obviously was a TON of work - thank you!!
I'm in need of a new pair of buds. I have the XM5s, but they won't connect to my new phone. I think the case is faulty. The AirPods Pro 2 refuse to stay in my ear no matter what tip size I use. looking at the Denons or the AZ80s.
Dudes Have Rated ‘Most Everything.
Mad respect to you guys for this comprehensive review, please always never stop doing these.
I must of had a bad set because the Status 3ANC's microphones picked up unreasonable wind noise-while merely walking. Sound was good though
Hi Team, how about the OnePlus Buds Pro 2? Is it not worth comparing in premium buds?
None of these do that. The Bose QC35 can do that? How?
Audio Technica? Status Audio Between 3 ANC?
Thank you. The Audio Technica are a little too expensive for me for the ANC quality they provide. I would like to give the Between 3 a try but they are impossible to source in Germany.
Hi, if we consider the Oppo Enco Air3 (or the Oppo Enco Air3S), Edifier W320TN and the Nothing Ear Stick, which one would be the best half in-ear earphones among these 3?
the most comprehensive comparison. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done and thank you. i always look forward to your content. Thanks
I am planning to buy new earphones and I am having a hard time to choose from Technics az80 and denon pearl Pro. Please help me out
Fantastic as usual and good picks. I have both az80 and oppo enco x2.
100%
Which of the two do you think is better?
@@AlejandroB76az80 easily but thd enco x2 are still fantastic especially at their current price. For me the az80 are almost perfect. If they could jusy improve transparency a bit more then they are perfect
anything will sound good really even m11
im more impressed by c9 and enleum, they can sound better than more expensive ones with good synergy
Can you please suggest to me Bose quite Comfort or Boss Quite comfort 2 or yahamaha tw7B which is better For listening to music and making calls
no Soundcore Liberty 3 pro or any of the newer products, why?
I have Sony WF-1000XM4. Should I upgrade to XM5's? Super confused. Please help. Thanks.
Guys i need u to make a video on equalizer and how to do eq coz u guys rock and ur content is lit. Mad respect for u guys plz teach me how to eq.
Have you ever tried Devialet Gemini? I’d like to know your opinion
I think they do it automatically in real time now.
@@DHRME ah okay.
Sound volume is limited in dev settings on Galaxy devices. Go in and deactivate it
What other tws headphones have a voice detection function for conversation, and automatically mutes the sound and turns on the transparency mode, like Sony, Google, Samsung have under different names.????
Sigh.
Consider the Oppo / Sony / Audio Technica / Samsung as well!
Thorough review. I have the Sennheiser tw3 but have given up on them. They constantly have a failure in one earphone. I’m tired of sending them back.
That's a shame Vincent! We've heard this before and even faced it ourselves, Sennheiser replaced it for free, but this ain't good.
Awesome, awesome video. I’m a proud owner of the Between 3ANC and I think that your analysis is on point although I wanna say that I really love the looks of them because here in Italy having earbuds that are super noticeable and stick out of your ears means that you will not be bothered by beggars while travelling 😂
#realitalianproblems
Awesome review, alot to think about. Quick question, I have the audio technica ath twx9, for about a year now. And no matter what I do I can't get it to connect to the app anymore on Google play store. Have you ever heard of this b4? I love these earbuds, however customer service has not been great.
This is the first such comment on our channel. Nope, not really heard of it.
Well done guys! It looks like xm5 and az80 are pretty evenly matched.
DHRME - Please help me make a decision. I just want the best sounding earbuds. Please suggest which one to go for - EX or AZ80 ?
For us, Ex.
I use the classic preset
That’s the preset I use too. These are unbelievable.
You guys are hilarious with the Segways .
This is the first place I come to see if a earbud is good or not.
Thank you guys
Wow, tier S review/shootout guys! You’re getting really good at this..
Thanks Joe! We took our own sweet time haha
so you have the bang and olufsen ex but not the eq i understand the ex might sound a lil better cause of the drivers it has but the bang and olufsen eq is the best sounding earbuds to me and i have had and tested alot of earbuds especially when alot of people don't like q tip still earbuds
Great review!
I have galaxy buds live , they were just fine but i think they reached their lifetime limit so I'm planning to buy new buds.
I need your advice, I am music lover myself, from many reviews I saw, I mean many many reviews and it's really confusing to choose.. sony xm5 , JbL tour pro 2 , jabra elite, galaxy buds 2 pro ...... etc
What is your advice :
In terms of performance, satisfaction and features... Is the Sony xm5 worth its expensive price if a person is able to buy it, or can be a lot of savings with others options that reflect a good performance in a lower price ? My phone is galaxy s22 ultra
Thanks
I bought the Sony WH1000 XM5 after watching your video.
And I love these..❤❤❤❤
WH or WF? Either way, good choice 😉
@@DHRME WH😀
Haha, first world problems!
Bro,
edifier neobuds s or neobuds pro 2
Soundcore Liberty 4 or 4nc
Realme air 5 pro
Nothing 2
Which is best for all rounder and focus for call quality in noisy conditions iam a driver
I would have loved to hear your impressions and throughts on the NuraTrue Pro. I have them and they make for probably the best sound experience i have ever had, truly tailored to me. But, they dissapoint in ANC unfortunately.
air pods pro 2 nd gen coming with usb-c right? by the way - great review guys !
Thanks! And yep, the new gen 2’s come with USB C.
@@DHRME thank you
Hey what's the battery life you are getting with ldac on + anc on. Maximum battery life in buds you are getting.i am only get 2.5hrs
Love this review, or any other reviews that you guys do in general. Not many extensive reviews on the MW08 out there!
Keep up the puns
Cheers Jonathan!!
Great video and comparison. I value sound quality, so while I've tried most of the earbuds on this list, I keep coming back to the Beoplays. I've heard good things about the Finals and Campfires, but after this I don't think I need to experiment further just yet and will stick to my EXes. At least for now.
Do you experience any connectivity issues with the Beoplay EX? I just can't seem to pull the trigger having that concern in my mind.
Does Wf xm5 automatically disable ANC when only a single earbud is used?
Can't go wrong with the Buds 2 pro
Excellent review. Exactly what I was looking for.... On a light hearted note, I keep expecting to hear pop pop popsicle, ice ice icicle, test test testicle. 😂
you guys left some other big brands like Jabra, Devialet, soundpeats, FiiO, TOZO, Soundcore, Edifier, One more and some more...
True, this was basically the transparency strength we're talking about.
What do you think about oneplus buds pro ?
Why oneplus buds 2 pro is not in the list??
I wanted to like the Sony's but I couldn't get a good seal even out of all my aftermarket tips
Thanks!
Thank YOU Patrick!
Hello...? Loudness... for phone calls. and 360 degree listening etc. Thank you..
Which one has best mic quality?
Would love to see more higher end SHURE in-ears reviews as well. And if it's worth it to upgrade froma true-wireless gen 2 aonic 215 to the higher end ones ;)
Is it worth the upgrade from Linkbuds S?
I went yesterday to a mall in Kuala Lumpur and tried out all premium earphones back to back - only two things I care about - sound quality and comfort. After trying all, have to say Beoplay Ex and Oppo Enco X2 were a league ahead others and were quite comparable to each other. Hence, went ahead and bought Oppo Enco X2 as they were one fourth of the price and these are my secondary earphones - already have Apple AirPods Pro 1st Gen (which I use exclusively for office calls, etc)
That is some solid research! Enjoy the Enco X2!
Thanks; looking forward to. And you guys are just awesome - such thorough job not just in terms of research but also the packaging of the content into such delectable videos. Well done for such hard and sincere work 🎉
Berapa bro harga enco x2 lepas diskaun tu? Aku pun dah lama usha tapi sebab harga mahal aku lek2 dulu simpan duit
I tried Airpods Pro 2 many times in windy weather conditions and on a crowded street regarding the microphone. I am using an iPhone and the best and clearest microphone sound is given first by AirPods Pro 2 and then by Jabra Elite 10. I think the microphone is great
I use my LinkBuds S silicon tips for my XM5's. Works perfectly.
Hahha brilliant. But also kinda sad.
forgot the denon pearl pro
Would love to see the Denon Perl Pro. They supposedly rival the best of the best.

@@DHRME ouu nice!
Does reality audio 360 work with all applications?
Curious - why don't you review/compare Marshall buds?
Tell me, who knows which tws have a voice detection function like: Sony, Samsung, Google. ?????
How can you out the campfire orbit into S Tier for sound, when they have absolutely 0 ear gain compensation. That is very odd for me.
All that hard work and 28 likes. Miserable. Well I appreciated it! Super comprehensive and fair.
Thanks Will! It's more than 1000 likes though. ;)
Great effort guys, is it just me or Sony XM5 is best all around?
yo how do these stack up against the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro
How does the ANC compare between xm5 earbuds and it's headphone(xm5)
