If there’s dust in your computer, u can open up the back side and clean it, and also most old laptop’s ram is upgradable by yourself, which isn’t hard to do. So most premium old laptops are still useable with some ‘housekeeping’ things

Actually the old bulky laptops are the best ones as they are usually the ones that allow you to replace the battery, motherboard. etc just by opening a pannel on the bottom of the device. plus theres a lot of space for adding better parts in them, and replacing old ones. you can refurbish an old bulky laptop with new laptop parts fairly easy and it will perform amazing and be cheap and upgradeable.
It’s much more likely you just need to put a solid-state hard drive and upgrade your memory. Most PCs with those two things will fly and you can get it for an $80 upgrade instead of spending 1000
I used to leave my laptop on charge for a while, but now I either run the battery right down and charge it back up, and my laptop classifies as a performance laptop with the vents underneath which causes it to get quite warm while under heavy usage (gaming). So now (don’t judge this is a bit weird) I use suction cups on the two back corners of my laptop (where the fan sits) and lets cool air through the system and now it rarely gets warm
My laptop is 10 years old now and I have to keep it plugged in while using. But that's the only problem it has. I'll use it until it dies since it isn't like laptops are cheap anymore.
I'm so glad that I have a 5yrs old laptop and don't have any of these signs, as a matter of fact I can still play heavily modded skyrim and some other games with a decent fps, for low settings of course.. the only problems is windows 10, I might revert this to older and more stable version of windows 10..

Something is wrong with my inbuilt wifi adapter. Currently using usb wifi adapter which also frequently loose connection, so I need to pull it out & then connect again. Also heats a lot after 30min of TH-cam on 2x😢😥😥 Recently changed keyboard & SSD bcz of slowing HDD & then black screen pblm. Surely my laptop is having tough times

This list is obviously not designed with a gaming laptop in mind. Those things don't hold a charge for long, have loud fans, are bulky, and produce a lot of heat new out of the box.

I prefer to use standard tower machines. There're usually stronger and parts are cheaper.
The most I use to clean my laptop is a wipe that I let dry out a bit.
