Good to get a recap Stuart 👍lots of tight lies on the links, used to be a wrist chipper when I was younger but as you get older the confidence dwindles so have changed to the more stiff/shallow approach 👍
@@cartersmithgolf it's goin well thank u mate. She's settled in really well. Although, last night when I was trimming her nails.. managed to trim the tip of her finger too. Whoops!
I love using the toe down chips Stu, just removes bounce and leaves you with a triangle/point for turf interaction rather than the full sole of the club. Interesting and informative vlog again fella, lovely tip with the grip, good job 👍👍👍
Thanks Kent, I’m hoping to get as many tip videos as I can in the coming season. As you well know we have so many things we do instinctively that really are little nuggets for less experienced players. Just need to get them all filmed. 👍
@@cartersmithgolf That's very true. Lots of things for us to learn too, thats one of the great things about the game, no matter how good you are theres always something to learn. A story that was passed onto me years ago involving Tiger and Phil and a short game lesson...Tiger had asked Phil for a lesson. Phil unsurprisingly refused, so Tiger, knowing Phil's love of gambling suggested a rather large wager to play this particular shot...Phil led the way, Tiger says "too good, go again same bet?" Phil of course took it and goes again. Tiger again "not worth me going...double or quits?" Phil, super confident now "Sure!" plays the same shot again...Tiger looks at Phil, sighs and says "I can't beat that, I owe you $$$$$" Phil goes "arent you even going to try?" "Nah, most expensive lesson I've ever had...thanks!" Tiger replies as he walks away. Now I dont like Tiger but laughed tin hats at that 😂😂😂 If Tiger can learn from someone...we ALL can 👍
Very useful. So when do you need the bounce - In the rough? A pitch perhaps? I suppose you have to have the hands more forward at address. Thanks. David
We start to use bounce when there is enough grass/sand under the ball. It will help glide through this and help to not keep cutting into it. It will “bounce” off this surface under the ball.
You mean I don't need 6 different sets of wedges depending on what colour pants I'm wearing that day? Just as well really as I only carry a pw and a gap wedge.
Yet again another really useful lesson , thanks Stuart 👍
Thanks Malcolm, hopefully you don’t get any lies this bad but if you do this will help.
Excellent tips Stu!
Thanks Jim, hopefully that will come in handy if we ever get back out there. Hope your keeping well. 👍🙏🙏
Great tips Stuart thank you . i hope you and Maddy are keeping well
Hi Jeff, your welcome pal. We are doing well thanks although we are staring to go a little stir crazy. 🤪🤪🤪🤪
@@cartersmithgolf i know how you feel . Hopefully won't be long till we can get back out on the course 🏌️♂️👍
I love this.
Thanks pal. 🙏🙏👍

Yeah those links lies aren’t for the faint hearted mate. 👍👍
Yups ... seen this one I believe ... still so important for me. Hope you and Maddy are doing great. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Thanks Eric, yeah doing a little remastering. 😜
Great stuff stu. I love your tip videos
Cheers Wayne, how’s the little one going? 👍👍🙏

Yep that’s a classic mate. They are so small. I used to bite them off after a Bath. It’s easier to feel the tiny tolerance needed. 👍👍

I carry a PW, GW, 54 deg. and 60 deg. wedge in the bag and I've become proficient at duffing shots with each of them!
😂😂😂 that’s a fine collection. Nothing like a consistent duff but watch out for that pesky pure shot that throws everything off. 😜

Yes that exactly what I mean but I like the idea of the multi coloured pants to match. 😂😂😂
