I just want to say that I have your Family Feud TAS saved on my dropbox, just so I can pull it up anywhere and show it to people as an introduction to why TASes are amazing. Watching/hearing people slowly break into tears of laughter over the answers is my favorite thing to witness.
The “dog on the field” in the wonderful soccer TAS is a cheat code/Easter egg that allows you to replace the refs with dogs. This should also be an option for real soccer games.
I have said this before, and I'll say it again: The moment you stop laughing at 2 bears humping each other, you are no longer technically alive. Cling onto that feeling, and in some way, you will live forever.
What makes "arbitrary code execution" even stranger is that people have done it on actual hardware, using a device called TASBot. I figured it was an emulation glitch of some sort, but apparently not.
Ocarina of Time speedrunners just figured out how to do arbitrary code execution with normal human inputs on a standard N64. The Any% world record uses it now
the supermario world ace has been exploited by humans for a credit warp, sethbling got a wr at 41.35s he also did the ace with the flappybird payload in under an hour.
Tasbot is nothing more than a decoration. It doesn't do much more than display what inputs are being pressed with lights. DwangoAC does not deserve that much credit. It is just like a glorified Christmas light show to music. The actual script authors have put in far more work with each game that he ever has, grifting off all of there hard work.
Honestly, I don't even blame the original programmers for the glitches which appear in TASes. Most of the time they are unobtainable with tightly controlled 60fps input to begin with. That, and the amount of optimization they had to do to make those games run on such weak hardware as old consoles were, that sheer amount of optimizations is absolutely insane! Not surprising that the code failed when superhuman input was given, haha.

9:13 Literally how does that work?! But yeah, pretty interesting list! I'm probably gonna check out that Scribblenauts run now! Also, shoutouts to the Family Feud TAS. One of my favorites, even if it does show up a lot. Thanks for uploading!
I think this dude forgot to specify why the family feud has that crazy rule. I’d assume it’s to account for the fact that there’s a timer and kids are likely playing the game and it’s a form of leniency for the spelling, so you can play and have a better chance at winning and not being mad you got something wrong because if a spelling error.
This dude didn't forget. I didn't want to spend 10 minutes describing each honourable mention when I have other entries that require more attention and explanation. I didn't even want to get into how it handles double letters because that already felt like it was going to slow down the video and make it boring.
I thought the soccer would be hard to top, but than track and field happened. Not sure if this list is in the wrong order or if those two just used up all my laughter, but Mortal Kombat failed to get an reaction from me.
After I uploaded this video I felt like kicking myself for putting SMW at #3 instead of #4 but I still think the Mortal Kombat TASes take the cake overall. I dunno. Maybe because I played MK games a lot growing up so I have pretty good context for all of what's going wrong in these clips? Or maybe because there are just SO MANY funny moments that I had a hard time picking my favourites. Anyway, everyone has their own experience. Your mileage may vary!
Okay, I have mad respect for Mortal Kombat... but that Olympic one had me in tears lol

They have also done it BY HAND. You don't need a TAS to do it (although it helps). That is some next-level dedication right there ;).
