The skeletons are in the game. They're a bonus mission. Try pressing the engage button around in various forests. There are actually a few bonus bosses like that.
"I'm gonna do some serious damage to your body!" That sounds oddly sexual coming from a catgirl. "I'll whisper it in your ear after I slap you sily!" That sounds oddly sexual coming from a cloak-wearing zombie streaker. "Sett Ra will not let you take the boy." That sounds oddly sexual for a guy whose name is synonimous with 'predator'.
Ow, those age inconsistencies hurt my noggin! At least the animation is impressively realistic in this game -- looks like they rotoscoped live-action reference like in "Prince of Persia" et al.
Maybe Mephis is actually a lich, and was just an extremely powerful undying sorcerer until 27 years ago, and after he had a kid he chose to be a lich to get even stronger.
Maybe the "age" refers to physical age, this could easily explain all the oddities. For example, let's say that Mephis was an apprentice of Sett centuries ago, then went into stasis or something and came back a few decades before the start of the game to have a child who grew up to be Voodoo; then he became a zombie somehow, making his physical age "unknown" ("dead" would be more accurate, but that's splitting hairs).
Here's a review suggestion, Double Dragon V, The Shadow Falls. It's weird to see the time where Billy and Jimmy lee fought Dominatrixes and men who can turn into missiles.
I think the Diesel character is a reference to Shaq's first rap album, Diesel. I'm not sure that makes Shaq's reaction any more understandable, but it's noteworthy I guess.
Were those comments about Shaq's foot size necessary? I'm a foot fetishist, and I feel awful that I got excited about anything in the context of Shaq !!!!!!!!!! Joking aside, a fun video, and I'm happy to finally know more about the game, hehe. Thank you very much for sharing!
That's bizarre. She even has a golden headband and hoop earrings and wrist things and belt (sort of), she's a sexy acrobatic magic casting woman in a revealing outfit, and she has some kind of issues related to not knowing who her parents are. And the color scheme isn't just close, it's dead on. Except for the skin, Voodoo's skin is a darker shade of olive.
The "kung" in kung fu refers to a thing improved by hard work, and the "fu" specifies this thing as yourself, so "Shaq Fu" is total nonsense (unless it's just a figure of speech) . "Shaqido" is much better, derived from "aikido" meaning "the art of joining with life energy" (ai- ki- do = join- life- art) but this is "the art of Shaq life energy."
If Kareem Abdul-Jabbaar could fight Bruce Lee, certainly the master of Shaqido could beat anyone :D To be fair an "eternal" being could simply be a non-aging being, rather than an indestructible one
It's not very good, mostly due to its very difficult unresponsive controls. But it's not anywhere near as bad as most people say. The SNES version has way better music (although the tracks are all really long and the game's timer makes it impossible to hear and enjoy the whole thing). The Genesis version has five more characters, though. Overall, I'd say the Genesis version is better.
Weird Video Games Thank you. I was trolling. But since you have answered - I have to try the horrible thing. That is not how trolling is supposed to work is it?
Weird Video Games I have tried Sega version. it is "Meh!". I even somewhat enjoyed it - same way I enjoyed Rise of the Robots II when I was a kid (the graphics are nice, buttonmashing strategy works). I have stumbled upon mentioning of Amiga version! I have to try that, as _Amiga ports are _*_always_*_ better._

I would really like to see this game reworked, completely balanced out, and made tournament worthy.
I think the developers noticed how messed up the chronology of the story was and just introduced timetravel to handwave it all away.
I'm gonna rock your chair, grandpa. Thanks for having me again.

Good luck killing joke man with the donkey launcher 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣.. bro I died when I heard that🤣🤣

I would have much preferred a Shaq-Fu movie to that vaporware game that's looking to be another crowdfunding disaster.

I find it hilarious that Shaq Fu 2 is final proof that the best games of each genre don't always get sequels... but the worst ones do.
This game was developed by Dephine Software? The same devs behind Flashback and Moto Racer?
I love how you dont even mention the Pepsi advertising.
that reminds me, everyone, remember shaq fu 2?
I nominate "Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden" as the next Weird Game.
I think the Diesel character is a reference to Shaq's first rap album, Diesel. I'm not sure that makes Shaq's reaction any more understandable, but it's noteworthy I guess.
the beast is CLEARLY an entity that has ALWAYS existed and just needs to be summoned through the darkness of someones shadow... not that complicated
Loved the voices in this vid!
Is Diesel related to Longshoreman X from Dead To Rights?

I just found out that Shaq's first album was "Shaq Diesel." Was he making fun of that album with this 6:53? Wow, that's confusing...
Maybe the lore of Shaq Fu is too deep for anyone to understand it, so deep even Evangelion fans would defend it?
Beast time travelled to become a basketball player and ruin shaqs career.
The skeletons that he made are for world domination later...
Wait. Warner Brothers should create Shaq-Fu vs. Looney Tunes vs. the DC Universe.
fun fact: there was a kick starter for a Shaq-Fu 2 game but we never
but the goal was never reached no did we ever hear from again .
I do, I want a hug.
it's been like, 3 years or something and the game didn't come out yet
i somewhat have a concern
Huh, Voodoo has the same color scheme as Shantae... Coincidence? Yeah, probably.

Anyone else think the guy doing the Shaq impression sounded a lot like Cr1tical?

Everyone's age makes sense with time travel
Shirt.
But is Shaq fu canon?
Oh fuck yes a new video
Raiden had to take a mortal form to be on the same footing as the other characters
That's why he bleeds and dies
i had this game as a kid. i actually liked it.
Love the shirt shirt

To be fair an "eternal" being could simply be a non-aging being, rather than an indestructible one
I could really go for a Pepsi right now.
"RIP Rayden?"
Shaq more looks like Kobe Bryant when he talks to opponents at the beginning
about skeletons: there was and endurance match against skeleton in the megadrive
Wait, Shaq sounds like Critika1 😳
Is it good?
Which version is better?

The Amiga port is very similar to the Genesis port but with almost no music, so I'd say it's not so great.
That reminds me of KOF 94
REIMU! WOOT
Still a great review :)
woo new video
you should review rhythm heaven megamix
loool
Nice vdeo, as always, but I got a bit tired of the "it's like if X..." jokes.
Hmm. Yeah, it is getting a little formulaic, isn't it? Comedy is hard. :p
Don't worry, I enjoyed the rest.
Your scripts are getting more and more elaborate... get to the point!
That would imply that I have a point :p
