    I'm not that deep of a cinephile enough to have seen most of the dude's movies but his credits speak for themselves and his students as well. Dude deserves all the respect.

    Corman is 92, both of his sons are litigiously suing him, and he’s STILL MAKING FILMS. Complete legend.

    It never fails to surprise me that he started so many stars onto their careers, and special effects artists we take for granted today, such as James Cameron.

    I still get surprised whenever I see his name pop up in films. I watched Dementia 13 a few days ago for my Halloween marathon and it was a delight to see his name in there, even though I wasn’t that much of a fan of the film itself. Hail to the king… of B-horror!

    Corman has probably trained more successful actors and directors then any film school ever could. He saw the potential in people and was willing to take chances.

    Corman's one of my favourite filmmakers. His '50s monster flicks do nothing for me, but I was won over by his Poe films. They, along with _Bride of Frankenstein_ , are the pictures that convinced me cinema is a legitimate artform.

    I showed my friend Twice Dead (1988) the other day and he loved it which lead him down the schlock rabbit hole that is home to Corman and his greatness. Gonna send this video to him, next.

    I fondly remember back when Mystery Science Theater 3000 was airing and you could watch them riff on an old Roger Corman movie, then flip through the channels and end up watching a new Roger Corman movie. Those were fun times to watch cable.

    James! Could you please do a review of Hatchet or the series itself? I remember you showing a clip of it years ago as an intro to another Monster Madness video, and have been waiting for something since. It fits perfectly in reviving the old-school slasher movies with many horror icons

    My favorite film he made was not a horror film. He produced and directed The St. Valantines Day Massacre. It is truly a great, unbelievably historically accurate movie.

    You should look up Christoper R Mihm. He's an indie filmmaker from Minneapolis and every year since 2006, he makes a low-budget horror or sci-fi film similar to early Roger Corman films.

    I remember watching Carnosaur as a kid in the 90's. That's the only Roger Corman movie I watched though I definitely want to check his movies from the 50's.

    I was home schooled growing up and corman was one of my teachers I learned from watching his film that hey you can make a movie with the budget of 20 dollars neat.
