Oh it depends on where you go. I’m American and there are several versions of an American breakfast. I personally like cinnamon rolls, biscuits (fluffy versions of crumpets) and sausage gravy, skillets ( eggs topped with minced potatoes, meat, and toast), and breakfast burritos. There’s also waffles, oatmeal, grits, muffins, and a bunch of other things.

I would like to have seen the American breakfast be comparable to the Full English. I think of a southern style breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, grits and biscuits with jam or gravy.

The traditional American breakfast is similar to a full English. Eggs, toast, bacon, often with hash browns or fried potatoes of some sort. Bacon might be substituted with ham or sausage. Pancakes might be subbed for toast. Most people don't eat it anymore. Maybe on a weekend or in a diner. Biscuits and gravy is a southern thing, but you'll find it in greasy spoon cafes more or less everywhere in the US.

Im English and i have never heard anyone call an English muffin a bread roll, a bread roll is a very different thing, I also leave the bacon till the end as it cools so quickly, on a side note you can also get white pudding same as black but its just pure pig fat never tried it but might be good for cooking other things in like you would with butter.

White pudding is more than just "fat" or suet if you give it the correct name. It's Main ingredients are suet plus oatmeal/barley and pork meat.
Very similar to the Black Pudding just without the Pigs Blood. Definitely a good alternative if you don't like the strong Iron/metallic taste of Black Pudding.

I think these days they make it same as the black type but just don't add the blood in commercial ones so the difference is minor in terms of ingredients but massive in terms of flavour as the Pigs Blood is the strongest flavour in it. I think SPAM is cured whereas this isn't hence beige not pink 😂. I would definitely recommend trying it (tastes like a more oaty/mealy sausage is best I can think of)

Part of the reason people eat a full English breakfast on a weekend is you're gonna need time to digest all of it, also it replenishes all that energy you lose working during the week, it's like refilling the gas tank. One of the best tips ever given to me was that if you are getting a cold or the flu, eat a big meal like this while you are still able and that gives your body max reserves to fight the infection, it boosts your immune system.

I do not eat or know anyone who eats eggs benedict. I'm 60yrs old so no, not a common American breakfast. The most common breakfast here is eggs, bacon or sausages, hash browns and toast (wheat or white). Additional options or trade offs to this breakfast may be flap jacks or waffles (with maple or fruit syrups or fruit & cream). The only tomatoes that ever appear is ketchup for your hash browns! Many people also like Tabasco sauce on their eggs. The eggs are served as fried over easy or sunny side up or poached on toast (wheat or white) or as an omelet. This is the most common breakfast across the majority of the US (with local techniques and spices and condiments added). The shortcut alternative to this breakfast is usually hot or cold cereals.
