I think it sounded better when he sang it at the concert at the sun rose place but he done a great job I like it
I have never listen to T-Pain I'll be very honest because I'm not into rap music, that is really great I would listen to that again. He honored the original but then also put his own twist into it and the gospel touch was really nice
I prefer Black Sabbath's version but it's a pretty good cover (a bit too much funk for me, but well done). The keyboards in the beginning immediately made me think of the late 80's (not sure why...).

It was a good cover. I loved it. I couldn’t help but notice the phaser distorted guitar and the wa. Both had the frightening vocals at the beginning. T-Pain did a great job. He had a lot to overcome to come close to competing against the original. Great fun to hear them both side by side. Thanks, Justin

T-Pain, did mimic Ozzy's singing style for most of the verses, which I liked. I did miss the lead guitar in his mix. Overall an interesting cover but I would rather listen to the original.

I like it a lot, very good cover. You can't deviate a whole lot from the original of a song like that. I think he succeeded in making it his own while respecting the original.
sorry for so many comments... but i can't resist... your mom or dad had a black sabbath album -- my mom's albums were, for example, Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass, Harry Belafonte, Glenn Miller, Ferrante & Teicher... my dad's albums were... my dad had no albums 😑. Crazy as it sounds, there are a small percentage of people who don't even respond to music in the "usual" way, one of them was my dad...

Are you going to do a Rush version of "Good Cover/Bad Cover" with their EP "Feedback" (2004 released) the record features eight covers of songs that were influential for the band members during the 1960s. They are not all great IMHO.😢

Second album of my very own, bought with my very own paper route money. I must have been 12 y.o., still have it. Bought itt at music Music Explosion, Winnipeg's finest record store. The first was Led Zed 1 (which copy I still have too). There's a blood stain on the cover. My buddy bought #2 the same day we traded 'em back and forth until I moved away, keeping his copy of Led Zed 2...I win!!!

All the early Black Sabbath really feels like Ozzy telling the story in a medieval setting lit by lots of candles for the flickering warm light in a background of darkness (even on the harmonica on the 1st album), but the cover gospel parts make it like a present-day production where in the second act the lights come up to reveal the choir at the back of the stage, but still telling very much the same story... So, I did like it. Tangent: I'm still trying to decide if The Wizard is maybe even Ozzy telling the story around a campfire and not all the candles... 😁
Some really interesting covers by Brown Sabbath, if you’re interested. They give the songs a Latin vibe, almost like a Black Sabbath/Santana mashup.

I havent heard them do it actually but I did have a couple or their albums when I was younger. They are very cool.

Not what I expected. Not bad. Take some balls to cover that song for sure.
It's good almost very good but I expect that from any band that actually records a cover. I have been to see hundreds of bands play and heard some bad covers, even by famous bands in large venues besides the "bar bands", and that can be expected but an actual recorded cover should be good, no excuses unless people bow down to you and are scared to tell you "don't do it, it sounds bad!"
