Manu and Tony Parker were very good players. They also were fortunate to play with Tim Duncan. Manu was a great offensive talent and an excellent team player. He is deserving of the accolades.
actually.. even when I love the 3 of them... we have to admit Pops is the real genius behind that moster called Spurs' Big 3...because even when the 3 of them were absolute legends, they needed a guy like Popovich to give them that sense of cohesive unit... of team... of family.. it's simply AMAZING the hability to manage teams for that guy... everybody is treated as a close relative...not just a single player... that's why the four of them were so beautiful to watch

Epitome of a selfless player. Superstar who didn’t demand being recognized as so. undeniable PERIOD Such an amazing player and a FAV all-time of mine 💯🏀👊🏻
Manu probably wanted to be a multiple time all star and have those career accomplishments. Who wouldn't? The difference was that he wanted to win more than all of that.
Thats something lebron never did and never will do, he only cares about his succes not about the team, and when his team is bad for a year he just leaves them for another superteam, i just dont get it how people cant see that
Manu is the opposite of Carmelo Anthony. Manu was unselfish, a great competitor, a great teammate and a greater human being, and he has four rings. Melo has none of those.
He will allways be a leader. He was a leader for argentina, and for the spurs. No matter if he started the game, or had to sit the hole time. Manu's mentality is only focused in winning, and making the TEAM better. You can win or you can lose, but he will always give you the best that he had. He has done that he's hole carreer. I miss seeing him play. Now we have Facu, Gaby Deck, and many other argentinian players that have grown looking at manu, trying to be like Manu. For us argentinians, manu is our MJ.
I've had season tickets for the clippers for years and I can't tell you how many times Manu came in and just. Wrecked our day. It was unbelievable he was a great player just dominant.
As a spurs fan and San Antonio native, I loved watching us March in to your gyms and wreck your day! Lol those were the days Manu was our touch of magic!
Yup they took 4 out of 7 against us but when you factor in the poor officiating and injuries we had to deal with we should have won more but that was our true rivals the Lakers
The great and only Scottie Pippen, the whole world love him, he did an amazing leadership skill that everybody noticed, take control of the defense leadership of the Chicago Bulls, amazing humble way to be great, thanks Scottie for everything, God bless you!!!
I mean I would put MJ, Kobe, Jerry West, Iverson, McGrady, Ray Allen and Harden above Manu but he's still 8th in my list so top 10 for sure. Better than Wade to me.
Manu prove that this its a team sport, and winning its all about...he accept and adapted his game and his personal sucess for the team and winnig. He also show loyalty, comitmen and love to the team/teamates/coach/city staying there (and, not forget, loosing money) He should be an example for young players And he deserves all the acomplynments he its and will getting Shirt hangging, all of Fame, one of the best 6 man ever played, one of the best non usa born who ever played,
The Spurs big three were all underrated. Timmy, Tony Parker and Manu. I can guarantee we won’t see a trio like that in years to come, they all sacrificed so much for the sake of the team, stats weren’t everything to them. Three Hall Of Famers🐐
Ya Ginobili was a very selfless player an all star/superstar, very humble whatever role the coach really needed from him, he was there to deliver no matter what, for some players everything always have to be about them or else they will become toxic he was the opposite of that he was a true definition of a team player while at the same time he was a allstar/superstar.. those are the players you definitely want on your team..
That was an smart move by manu because he knew what he was ganna bring to the table and plus being in the bench you can study your opponent and learn how to play against them and how to learn their moves AS WELL.

Danilo Vilas Boas yeah he beat him alright, but are you aware that the refs didn't gave him the chance to play his normal stuff.he did fouled out in their game against manu's team.even larry brown was angry and upset against all refs in the olympics saying they're totally not fair to duncan when he's on the floor.
Manu Ginobili is one of the great players. I remember him beating and out smarting the lakers so many times during their runs and him hitting clutch shots after clutch shots.
History will look very fondly of Manu and Pippen. Their legend will continue to grow long after their careers are finished and we see it happening now.
As someone who lived in San Antonio for almost 4 years during a time when Tim Duncan was in his prime, with a Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli who were fresh into the league, if there's one thing I know, the city of San Antonio loves their Spurs. It's only right they retire that man Manu's jersey. Major congrats to the legend.

Melo is a little bit underrated now, because of what happened in the last couple of seasons. But he was one of the best scorers in his prime, in the iso ball era. For about 10 years as a matter of fact, so 10 times all-star seems about right. Manu should have been selected more than 2 times, but he was up against strong competition in the west. Kobe and Melo were just ahead of Manu in terms of stats, which always seems to be a deciding factor. Manu was just as good as Kobe and Melo imo: the ultimate team player, played less minutes, but was just as important.
I’m remember Stephen Jackson a week ago dissing Pop for asking Jackson to sacrifice saying it was a set up for them to release him and this just proves it wasn’t about targeting Jackson, it was about testing him to see if he fit their culture. He wasn’t being singled out.
Allen Iverson never won a ring either, and he was asked to come off the bench as well later in his career. I am a long time Spurs fan, waaaaay back when the Ice Man donned the Spurs uniform. I say that because it was more about the Spurs culture. Outside of the great team in Denver Melo never had an opportunity to win a championship. Charles Barkley never came off the bench, Nor did Karl Malone, nor did Patrick Ewing. NONE of them won a ring, so let's not make this a hate on Melo, following the media driven narrative about him. I am also a native of Baltimore. I say that because I don't and never will understand the fan hate/dislike of Carmelo. He was not a bad teammate, he never had a ton of off court issues once he matured as a man. He did have a few transgressions early in his career. Melo is a top 20 scorer in the history of the game, he's the all time leading scorer in USA basketball history. He was the leader on a moribound Nuggets team that CONSISTENTLY made the playoffs while he was the best player..... His teams in NY sorta of like the current Knicks teams SUCKED and were undermined by poor management. He did have an opportunity to leave and play for a contender, HOWEVER the cost was 50 million dollars. I couldn't UNDERSTAND then why people were angry he opted to take the money. 99% of people in his position wouldn't sacrifice that amount of money. ANYWAY, why knock Melo when this should be a celebration for the greatness and sacrifice of Manu Ginobli. The fact that Melo was even brought into the conversation is perplexing to me? What did Melo do to stain his legacy with fans? Even the great Dominique Wilkins has asked the same questions about Melo....why do fans dislike him so much????
MANU GINOBILI will resonate for the end times in Basketball arena worldwide for his uniqueness and winner mentality, for the team and the fans. MANU GINOBI...LIIIIIIII!!!!

Respect! I hated Kobe’s guts for a long minute and the fact he kept smacking my Spurs during his prime! I miss the good old Lakers/Spurs rivalry; we played some intense basketball back then! Salute to Manu but also salute back to the Black Mamba!
Thank you sir....and as a spurs fan I hated Kobe he was a killer for us ...but now I respect Kobe and his game✌
Manu was one of the main reasons Kobe and Fisher cried in '03. Basically ending that Shaq Kobe dynasty.
Facts Bro 😂🤣💯
I feel the same way towards Nash. The dude killed us many times lol
Ginobli was....is....always will be the man. A WHAT EVER TAKES TO WIN KINDA GUY! Love that mentality!
Manu is a beast, so underrated when they discuss the best players of the 2000's
Kevin Nicholls I made a Manu Ginobili Career Mix to commemorate his jersey retirement and I would really appreciate it if you can take a look at it on my channel🙏
one of my fav manu moments was last year against gsw in game 4 when he came in clutch in the 4th to secure the win and not allowing the sweep on our home floor.
The heart and soul of the spurs #20
@@spdutahraptor777
Pop is indeed a great coach. Wont take nothing from him. But the NBA is a players league. Tim Duncan is arguably the best Power Forward to ever play the game of basketball.
@@raymondbrown1598 oh, there's no doubt about that... but do you think these 3 guys would stick together for so long if it wasn't for a guy like Pop??

Many Ginobili has earned a spot with the greats. His name will be brought up when ever people talk about who was the best at x or y. I'm so happy I got to grow up watching this guy play and help bring my spurs so many championships.

Manu was such a blessing. I could never be more thankful as a spurs fan for what he did.
Gotta love Manu! Great passion, heart and love for the game was undeniable.
*cough* no ego. Whooped Harden in his final season. Won 4 rings. Defeated Team USA and got the gold medal.
Manu is a first ballot Hall of famer period.
Epitome of a selfless player. Superstar who didn’t demand being recognized as so. undeniable
PERIOD
Such an amazing player and a FAV all-time of mine 💯🏀👊🏻
Many could’ve averaged 20ppg in his career if he wanted to. Sacrificed so much, stats don’t show it all
Manu probably wanted to be a multiple time all star and have those career accomplishments. Who wouldn't? The difference was that he wanted to win more than all of that.
money too, he could've been a Gordon Hayward type player AT LEAST moneywise and been paid the bank.
Thats something lebron never did and never will do, he only cares about his succes not about the team, and when his team is bad for a year he just leaves them for another superteam, i just dont get it how people cant see that

That’s why I love Manu.. the man worked hard and played even harder. I glad I got to watch him growing up.
Manu is the opposite of Carmelo Anthony. Manu was unselfish, a great competitor, a great teammate and a greater human being, and he has four rings. Melo has none of those.
Why you gotta roast melo man
What did Melo have to do with this video? Please focus on Manu

Should say "Refused to come off the bench when he wouldn't get the last shot in a playoff game."
Dimitri Serr I don’t blame the man

James Jackson so you condone quitting? Lead by example and quit life
He will allways be a leader.
One of the best clutch Players and a perfect teamplayer hall of famer
I've had season tickets for the clippers for years and I can't tell you how many times Manu came in and just. Wrecked our day. It was unbelievable he was a great player just dominant.
As a spurs fan and San Antonio native, I loved watching us March in to your gyms and wreck your day! Lol those were the days Manu was our touch of magic!
Season tickets for the clippers? Cmon man.
Ginobili was a great player no ifs or buts about it!!! 20 🏀
Lakers and spur battles were fun to watch. I miss them.
Yup they took 4 out of 7 against us but when you factor in the poor officiating and injuries we had to deal with we should have won more but that was our true rivals the Lakers
Eh, not really fun. In the playoffs, the winner of the series usually dominated the other.
Manu was such a great player. One of my favorite players to watch. Such a great guy, too.
The great and only Scottie Pippen, the whole world love him, he did an amazing leadership skill that everybody noticed, take control of the defense leadership of the Chicago Bulls, amazing humble way to be great, thanks Scottie for everything, God bless you!!!
But what about Manu?
Most selfless 6th man ever. Watch a Manu compilation today. He was dope.
When you are 6th man you better be!
I started to watch NBA because of Manu. We are both lefty. Hands down to the Legend.
southpaws are really hard to guard, they're giving you headaches when they're on the floor.they're shifty.
I used to joke with people in pickup games to go to the rim like manu ginobili
Manu is probably one of the top 5 two guard in NBA history
I mean I would put MJ, Kobe, Jerry West, Iverson, McGrady, Ray Allen and Harden above Manu but he's still 8th in my list so top 10 for sure. Better than Wade to me.
Manu prove that this its a team sport, and winning its all about...he accept and adapted his game and his personal sucess for the team and winnig.
He also show loyalty, comitmen and love to the team/teamates/coach/city staying there (and, not forget, loosing money)
He should be an example for young players
And he deserves all the acomplynments he its and will getting
Shirt hangging, all of Fame, one of the best 6 man ever played, one of the best non usa born who ever played,
The Spurs big three were all underrated.
Dominiguez bolo it’s rare to see players like that in the nba now😔
That was an smart move by manu because he knew what he was ganna bring to the table and plus being in the bench you can study your opponent and learn how to play against them and how to learn their moves AS WELL.
Manu is my pick for the most underrated player in NBA history
People forget how much of a beast he was. I loved every minute the dude was on the court.
Manu,Duncan,Parker, The Admiral D.R. and the greatest coach in all of sports Gregg Popovich! Thank you !
A person that showed us what a team player is all about. Live Well and long Mr.Manu

An argentinean can do anything and do it great, an Argentinian can be a priest and become a Pope ..🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a Spurs fan, the single time I've been happy for Duncan loosing was when Manu beated him for Olympics.
Nobody hates Manu. The man is a legend to all fans of the game.
I didn't know that guy seated next to Scottie P is named Manu Ginobilli after the Legend Himself. His Dad must have been a huge Manu fan.
Thank you Manu. Not even really a basketball fan but when you see talent and sportsmanship on that level you have to respect it. Pop and the spurs organization put out quality talent with respect for the game.

I would take Manu, 2 time all-star HOF player than Carmelo Anthony, 10 time all-star.
I wouldn't take manu over melo
@@donvance4663 Manu was much more dynamic.

I’m remember Stephen Jackson a week ago dissing Pop for asking Jackson to sacrifice saying it was a set up for them to release him and this just proves it wasn’t about targeting Jackson, it was about testing him to see if he fit their culture. He wasn’t being singled out.
And that’s one of many reasons that Manu was 1000 times the player that Stephen Jackson was
Manu sits on the beach in he's prime..
Melo doesn't?
That's why Melo ain't got a ring
Kuwsh15 who cares about the ring
He made it out the hood
@@cashondeliver Stupid ass comment. It's like going to college, but not coming out with a degree. You're going for participation points. FOH..
Mo Brown thank you. Shut this clown up🙏🏾
