Isn't it great that in just *one* movie we have seen Riddler, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Falcone and it not being forced, at all? They just exist in this universe, in Gotham, without being the main villain whatsoever. This is how Gotham is supposed to feel. The rogues are *always* present, albeit in the background. In the comics, you would see villains pop up all the time, sometimes even in a single panel without dialogue.

@@Drums_of_Liberation Yes, he WAS Phenomenal as Bruce Wayne when you understand the whole POINT of the movie and what it's striving for OF Bruce Wayne's characterizations CENTER off.
It's COMPLETELY perfect because Batman IS Bruce's trauma, and this movie had to showcase that he's so obsessed with being batman that he forget how to be himself and a proper human being.
He LEARNS how to be better Bruce Wayne AND Batman at the end of this movie, as this was the whole point OF.
It's no different from Batman: Year One or Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman IS the Trauma that makes Batman, BATMAN.
Batman's story will ALWAYS be a tragedy at heart as he can never be fully happy to be Batman.
But the point of this movie is showcase how Bruce can LEARN how to grow from that with his interactions with Selina so he can be a human again and learn HOW to be a better Batman for the people of Gotham by not being so full of rage but by being an inspiration of hope and love!

@@ArrakisHeir88 Are you serious right now?
He WAS manipulating the Batman by telling him his inner dark thoughts by speaking it out loud by making his heart drop about the case that on how he might TRULY feel about the case of the cops and the politicians.
That’s the importance of the scene. To showcase the dynamic of the Batman and the Joker and how joker tries to manipulate Batman into thinking about his dark thoughts. THAT’S the nuances of the scene.
There is no “lmao” at all coming from you at all as you don’t know anything what your talking about in this scene at all.
The scene WAS important to showcase the status of the dynamic of how Batman and joker but it wasn’t necessary for the movie itself.
Of course, the movie DOES “works better without this scene” overall but it’s still a fantastic scene of the nuanced subtext dynamic that’s happening between these two and their history together in establishing character!
They cut it out as this scene basically spoils the ending of the dynamic of the Riddler and Batman here. The scene is overall an over-explanation of things to come, it’s STILL great tho and a fantastic scene regardless even when it got cut. THAT'S why it's a amazing scene as a whole even when it’s cut out!
LOVE this movie as a whole as it’s MASTERPIECE of a movie easily!

There is nothing about the production that couldn’t be waxed lyrical about from the sound design, the score, the make up, the set/costume design. All within a single room, two actors and 5 minutes.

Truly incredible! In this small scene you can already feel the relationship between Joker and Batman. You can tell that Joker believes that him and Batman are friends, like how he feels in the comics. And, you can hear the desperation in his voice as he stops him when he try’s to leave. You get a sense of what Barry’s interpretation of the character will be like, he’s definitely going to be the most deranged version of the joker. And might just turn out to be the best.

I’m sorry I’m going to have to already STRONGLY disagree there because This Batman already is PHENOMENAL and a perfect representation of the Batman!
Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne truly is as it’s PERFECT representation of Batman’s trauma and life story completely portrayed throughout amazing subtle performances! Bruce' Trauma has deeply effected his entire life and well being. It's not about trying to portray a "play boy bachelor" at all, it's about showing a gloomy individual whose DEEPLY traumatized from his parent's death that he can't think or do anything else and it’s PERFECT the way how it's done as Bruce can't be batman without his trauma but this still it's consumed his life so much that he's never moved past his parent's passing to have his own life. But the point of this movie is showcase how Bruce can LEARN how to grow from that with his interactions with Selina so he can be a human again and learn HOW to be a better Batman for the people of Gotham by not being so full of rage but by being an inspiration of hope and love!
This ENTIRE movie is a 10/10 MASTERPIECE! We have a batman movie where the best character in the film IS Batman/Bruce Wayne! Robert Pattinson is the BEST batman I've seen and he's PHENOMENAL as Batman AND Bruce Wayne entirely while still given him a new stylized look that's FANTASTIC to see! Love this movie to death as it's the BEST batman movie, felt like Batman: The Animated Series BEAUTIFULLY brought to life with it's gorgeous Art Direction and aesthetics! MASTERPIECE of a film throughout!

This scene fits perfectly in the movie, there was no reason to take it out other than to take the attention away from joker and focus on the main story which is respectable in itself, but it makes me wish we got this scene in some form. This adaptation of joker has so much potential, and even though that's not the laugh you would expect from a joker, the laugh fits this mixed adaptation so well that it's easily permissable in its own right. Not only is this joker the psychological character that we needed representation of, but just like you would want, there's no telling where this joker will go; he could easily be like the new 52, he could easily be like the Arkham verse, he even fits the animated series joker, all in one. It's truly astounding how much development we get out of this 5 minute scene
