great truck and best in my collection. You can slam the factory body with the supplied mounts and cut out the shocks/towers and works out awesome and the factory body is on the heavy side for a small body so helps a lot slamming it.
You're really getting that Asc18 dialed in! I gotta upgrade my daughter's soon, so i think i may buy that package. Thanks for the video, always great stuff here.
I really am liking these wheels. I bought the brass rings available and used them on the front only. I went with the Cling-Ons with the Injora green inserts streched on the rings. This is an amazing combo, stiff sidewalls with a supersoft contact patch.
Hey Matt, i have a question, i am looking for some 1.3 wheels so that i can have larger tires for this 1/18 build without tire roll, and with positive offset to be able to keep it not crazy wide, keep scrub down, and hold the mofo heavy hexs (big hex disc things) inside the wheel without rubbing the wheel. Do you know of any positive offset 1.3 wheels? Everybody's always wanting negative offset, so kindof hard to find. Thanks for your help, and have a great week! * or 1.2 wheels too
Geez, those Slingers look nice stretched onto those 1.3's. And a bonus it helps with the sidewall roll. Did you try them with no foams to see how they squished? They do look too solid. Thanks as always Matt!
I really like my ascent 18. I put injora 1.1 in brass rims with 56mm yellow injora incerts inside some featherd in 57mm lgrp swamp kings i had laying around.it has all the forward drive and i have to be super stupid to get it to roll. Do you know if injora will make overdrive gears for it? I did break a rear lower link, and I super gued it together. i ordered injora stainless steel links
In general I'm against the move to bigger and bigger tires, but I picked up a set of those 1.3's because they just look so dang cool. They are just sitting on the bench though because I don't really have a rig they fit on, lol.
The older brass or aluminium 1.3 wheels from Injora, that comes in a set with the tires working great on the evo pro with full-droop shocks. Even with the big brushed motor this thing is a beast. With the 2 speed transmission crawling very smooth, quiet and controlled. No need for the Furitek one. And sometimes Furitek has some issues. E. g. just put a cedar and a lizard pro in a FMS power wagon, all upgraded and tuned via app. But this thing is whining like a crazy cat, no matter, what I do.
I found I lost steering angle with the INJORA steering link and the retainer screws for the inner bearing didn’t seem to be holding it properly. Did you find that with yours?
No I didn’t notice any loss of steering. I actually trimmed my axle housing a bit and got a bit more I thought. Didn’t really compare it to a stock truck but it seemed like more anyway lol
@@Bonitacreekrc2 you don’t need to buy the whole catalog. And if you are, you’re a tool. All you need are the outside front diff covers. If you’re spending $300 you’re doing it wrong. Reaaaaaallly wrong.
orange cats are the best... they are all weirdos. i've grown to like injora and i hope they undercut the current market in parts, quality, and enter the game of electronics both brushed and brushless; we need lower price thru competition instead of matching the prices of other brands
Dude I ordered the ascent 18 back before April and it's still on back order, my upgrades showed up before the truck has. I'm about to give up n get a refund.

Yeah I should really look at lowering this one lol
Injora hardware is exceptional, I agree that the extra is beneficial

The Ascent 18 is one heck of an RC. the cat clips are funny

Who said “dont show the cat”. Thats why i watch these vids😻
Haha! Love it. You know how it is. Someone always gotta complain about something 😆
I swear i watch Injora every week for new Redkitten 18 parts and they are killin it! Thanks for the video!
Great video, you got the ascent dialed in, looks smooth as it moves, cat was a good touch also, thanks
Been using my old skool Injora Scramblers on the Ascent.. fits/works awesome.
The ascent is awesome Your cat is fun to watch too. Thanks for great informative videos.
Love the cat zoomies lol. Also yea the Ascent 18 rocks!
Love the Redcat, love the orange cat.
Tuddy-Tat my favorite part of the video
Cat is awesome! Oh, trucks also nice😂.
Would love to see you do a setup on the shocks of the pro2. Maybe its also better to drive then.

I ordered those new 1.3 wheels but plan to run them backwards with the clamp screws facing out.
Awesome do they clear the portals or even hide them let me know 😉
Injora just came out with od gears for the fcx24s, McCue rc had portal over drive gears. Waiting on the injora gears to come in they look goooood
I actually got mine in yesterday!
Is that black, Mad Max looking truck on the bench, back left, gonna get a video? Body looks really cool!
On FMS website, there new coming RCs to be released? Do you have any info about it? They look great, 24 scale.
The camel! I heard maybe June but can’t remember lol

I haven’t heard anything but I’d say they will at some point. I’d like to see underdrive for the rear honestly

Have you tried the new 70mm Injora Cling-On tires yet?
Yes. Really good tires. Just wish they made them in a smaller 1.0
Quick question, if you had to choose between the 1.3 cling-ons and injoras 1.3 XHX pin tires based on performance, which would you choose?
@@seniorxj2931 I prefer the cling ons myself. They are an awesome tire imo
@@2fmrc thank you!
PS: The kitty DeFiNiTeLy belongs in the vids!👍🏼
Really appreciate that! We love watching them play
I’ve got the Evo pro brushless with the 2 speed. It’s got a ton a play. What’s this transmission of which you speak? I’d like to tighten it up a bit
What about Trx4m iso axles on the caymen? More gearing options at least
I may have to try that. Got a set of those around also I think lol. I’m sure I’ll have to make some links but may work out pretty well.
Someone actually told you not to show the cat?! Lol some people got the nerve.
For real! Only got that kind of nerve online though. Guaranteed 😆
Yeah screw that guy we all want to see the fur baby
Imma unsubscribe if we don't start seeing more cat!
@@JacobScherer 😆
@@JacobScherer love it!!! We have 4 of them so they are always in to something lol
Redcats brass makes sense, Injora’s feels a little half baked.
Redcat brass also costs $300 for all the stuff in injoras $75 package

I agree 100%
That Cayman body is much nicer than the Asc18 body. The more I see the Asc body, the less I like it. Not that I wouldn't get one just b/c of that.

Dang! Where did you order from? That sucks!
