Gotta set you straight. When you get older you do not get cranky. You become more content and happier. Your perspective on life becomes wiser and more balanced. Each moment becomes more precious.
You must be one of the lucky ones. That, or your not " at that age " where it gets cranky. I've seen it happen . Body stops working, people get cranky.
You are absolutely right. I’m so tired of this stereotype.
You only get cranky when bedroom fun is off the table. Thankfully, I am not there yet. I am talking about males at least. We go from youthful to grumpy old man, based on that.
Amen
This!!!
You guys are still very young. You'll know you're getting old when Sadie's doing all the work, and you two become the helpers.
That is so true. I watch my son now doing the work, well he works with me. Getting old is when you struggle getting up in the mornings 😂😂😂😂
Great answer!!
OMG, Sadie's vocabulary has exploded recently!
And she’s bilingual! Teaching her another language with similar verb conjugation would be easier now.
I hope I get to witness her solving world issues. ✌🏻🫶🏻
When you have open beams, I put 5gal pails over the opening here in FL. That way I don't worried about water inside the pipe. Nice build.
Very sensible and helpful info. Hope it helps someone too👍
I was going to comment the same thing - only I use ice cream containers - but I have pretty low wind where I am, so there in Panama I reckon your pails are definitely a better bet!
Sadie didn't even exist when I first stumbled across your channel a few years ago. Now she's 2 +! Hard to believe! She makes me smile...
Oh me too. Now seeing a video without her in it would be so weird LOL😊
I think she makes everyone smile!
Sadie makes this 72 year old Grandpa so happy and proud of her parents for raising her happy, healthy and helpful!
I’m the same been watching before Sadie was born, especially when Kaylee found out she was pregnant with her Watching Sadie grow from a baby to now she far more advanced as most 2yr olds she’s such a pleasure to watch her mum is such an excellent teacher
Sadie is amazing. She's so smart from all the attention and excellent parenting.
I imagine your second child might be a musical genius while Sadie solves world hunger.
Very true.
I believe the many steel foundations you've built are nothing compared to the foundation you've provided to support your daughter as well as your community.
Just by living your lives, one day at a time, you inspire (& entertain, & teach) the anonymous multitudes.
Quite a multi-tiered legacy for such a young couple! I applaud and wish the best for all of you, in all ways, for all time.
Sadie just blows me away at how smart and advanced she is. She's got the brains and the beauty. You guys are so blessed.
P.S. Sadie means princess and she is one.
She is still not potty trained though so not so smart after all
Young children do not usually potty train themselves. When she is ready, the process will work for her. Not being potty trained has nothing to do with being smart. That wasn’t a very nice remark against Sadie! Sadie, is very smart, indeed! Kindness is a welcomed trait! Hugs to Sadie! ❤ CarrieJo/NC
@user-iw5fp8kf7w I was thinking the same thing, I pray that person finds the wisdom to hold their tongue when dispensing negativity that is so easy to do online. 🙏
Right-Sadie’s a real spitfire-potty trained or not. Some kids don’t get it til they’re almost 5..so, yeh that comment was uncalled for.
It is so fascinating to compare-and-contrast, between you and Trent & Allie, what goes into building residential structures The difference between sorta-off grid versus totally off-grid, totally hi-tech versus hardly any tech at all; the huge geographical and climate differences - not to mention the difference between "code" and "no code"! I love how you're building a sprawling compound of multiple buildings and levels, living daily life as much outside as inside - something that simply wouldn't be practical anywhere that gets 12' of snow! The bathhouse is, so far, the exception - since it has plumbing, sewage/drainage, and lots of electrical usage. If you ever decide to add a "casita" for cooking, that would be as complicated as the bathhouse. It's just amazing watching Lola's Farm continue to take shape.
I enjoy watching both these families grow! They are families that amaze me with their abilities, drive and dreams they strive to achieve and have fun doing it.😊 As different as they are, they have the same foundation...helping others. Both have extended their love and wealth to others whether it be a new community in a jungle or to neighbors and family that has grown to amazing numbers!! Each has embraced the different elements of their climates, rainy season, snow blizzards...whatever comes what may, they push on. They both have touched and blessed so many other lives and for that, I take my hat off to both families great big wonderful hearts!🥰
For most insect stings… 1 part vinegar and 1 part baking soda , make a paste and apply to bites… it will neutralize the venum. Grandma recipe😊
Hmm mud works to and or A sliced yellow onion, juicy side down on a sting wound, can detoxify the wound and neutralize the venom to help reduce inflammation. Also much easier and quicker remedy 🤔🤷🏼♀️
you can make this same baking soda paste without the vinegar (with water instead) for more sensitive skin - and for kids - and the baking soda does all the work. just make more new paste if it isn't completely done with only one application. 💛
They always used bleach on a q-tip on mine
I respect your principles. You are not fake- you are your own camera crew, building for real yourselves, and the whole community - Rodrigo, Freddie, Enrique, and Eberto. Y'all totally figured out life at an early age.
Sadie is adorable! I love how confident she is ❤ beautiful family!
A Mano pitched roof. In the areas of the USA I have lived in I have always heard them referred to as a shed roof when used on a free standing structure. The term lean-to was used when they were on an house addition physically attached to the main structure as in that addition “leaning” against the main structure for support rather than being freestanding.
Sadie is so adorable having her doll talk about the color of her house. It might be time to have her a brother or sister so she can have someone that will actually talk back to her. Love her little voice! ❤
Such a strong, strong work ethic, Jordan & Kayleigh!! Passing this on to Sadie is a given....she's already exhibiting the qualities of a strong, independent, kind, talented & courageous girl!! Love your process for building the Casita! Blessings all & to the 2 brothers who are always there to help!! 🇺🇸
Sadie is so doggone adorable!!! 🥰🌻❤️🎶❤️🌻🏡🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
It’s a SHED roof, love you guys! Best content on TH-cam
Yep!
Thank you for your wisdom and making tears flow. I have a bucket to catch the tears. Thank you from a 71 something happy man.
You guys are hands down my favorite travel/homestead channel, I never want the videos to end. I so love what you are doing for your family and all the families whose lives has improved just because you both moved to Panama.
I love the lean-to choice. Modern, functional, roomy...easy!
Love the drone shots! You bought a beautiful piece of land and turning it into a stunning home!🌻
Your always a Blessing ❣️MORE of Sadie 🙏🙏🙏 she reminds me of my Daughter Sommer💞🌸Sommer is now 45 & has a Beautiful life living in London & makes friends All over the world in her travels😂Sadie will be the same ( not living in London) but making GOOD friends everywhere she goes💞
Sadie is looking more & more like you Jordan😂😂😂
Sadie is an old soul she's very observant and she will be cooking soon as her coordination gets stronger ❤
what are you talking about? Sadie's already cooking! She cracks eggs and she stirs and mixes like nobody's business! 🥣 🍳
Happy Day,
Happy Saturday!!!
Love seeing y'all each Sat. Only problem for me is, I start missing yall around every Tuesdays.
Still Happy on Saturdays to see your progress on your Farm.
Have a Beautiful and Blessed week!
💜☕️💜
Moo moo has stripes on her like a Zebra. So cute!😊
Oh I enjoyed this blog so much! Sadie is so adorable and smart. This is going to be so fun to see how this build ends up. The potatoes and sausage looked yummy and as kids we use to eat the raw potato too.
Thing's are looking good! And I told you guy's that Sadie girl was going to be an extremely smart young lady ! Love and light and peace.
❤❤❤❤
Moomoo has to be the luckiest cow on earth 😄🤗
Sadie is sooo...Adorable.So smart.❤❤❤
"I'm on a 7 year protest to not to have to report to the man...."
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
Cant turn a shovel in NY..without permits..? Beg from debtors??
Oh, I so remember the rainy season in Panama. I was living right across the valley from you, high on the breast of Volcan Baru. And the rain was like living in a fishbowl. No drops. Just solid water. For hours. This high mountain woman from Colorado had never seen anything like it!
Sadie had me cracking me up when she said she wants a park on the grass. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂She is something. Guys love your work can't wait for the next one. Stay safe kisses to Sadie. 😘😍🤗
I just love your world and Sadie is just the coolest kid. She makes me smile. Thanks guys!!
You just got that roof beam in place before the rain came, I think that when you do the roof your views will be even more spectacular, but don't Forget that Sadie wants a Pink roof for her doll.
I love how you guys stop at times and let Sadie learn at her level. Cracking eggs seems so small but you constantly let her experience, grow and live her life. I wish would I have been so wise when raising my son.
Me too. I was so young (18) n not Patient. Or maybe I was n it's just been so long I don't remember correctly? I mean my son is 50 next month!?
There is so much I would go back and change if possible, patience, slowing down to enjoy the little things in life and spend more time teaching the same to my beautiful sons.
You always make me smile...sadie is so smart...
You guys need to make more videos! I’m looking for you all every day and it seems like forever between videos! I just love them. I started watching you guys a little before you all were pregnant with Sadie. I watch the Jungle Boy too hoping to get a glimpse of you guys but now I watch them for the sake of watching them. I just love seeing you all and watching how your farm is developing! Love you guys keep up the good work!
They produce 1 video each week.
Whoever edits these does an amazing job. It wasn’t too short or too long and the dinner sequence with the L cut on the audio was beautiful.
Great work all around! Can’t wait to see the next one
Jordan does all of the editing.
I wish they would pixelate the welding arc when they record the welding parts. I can't help looking at it for a split second and it leaves spots in my vision for a while after.
@@derekd1510 lower your brightness man. From a camera sensor to your screen there’s only a maximum brightness that it can reach. Looking at the welding arc on the screen isn’t any different than seeing the sun in a sunset shot.
@@bakerfx4968 That's ridiculous. At sunset the sun is filtered through thousands of miles of atmosphere and if done professionally, it's usually shot with a filtered lens as well. Maximum brightness or not, it leaves spots in my vision and it would be very easy to pixellate it for their viewers convenience. What am I supposed to lower my brightness to watch their videos and the increase it again when I'm done every time? Seriously?
@@derekd1510 you’re just literally the first person I’ve ever seen have a problem with it and I’ve been filming, editing and delivering video content for over 10 years. It’s more work than you probably think it is to pixelate every time the arc pops up… they’re building everything with metal lol
I start my day every day with your coffee & videos. They help set my day to be joyful, loving & productive. I am truly amazed at all you have learned since I started watching you. I was impressed when you guys were in the van! Now look at cha! I love watching your journey!
I give you two the best parents in the World Award, and Sadie is proof that i am right 😊
Hi guys. Been following you since the beginning. You do great work on everything you’re building. Just a technical point for grins. Level is a horizontal position of a beam for instance. The term for a vertical up and down position is “plumb”. You should have asked Sadie, I am sure she already knew this😊.
😂😂 I'm sure Sadie would have shared, if only they asked!❣️😊 She is an amazing little lady and growing so quickly! If we all had such an "album" to reflect on when our children were small!😮 Have an amazing week🙏
That beautiful ending actually brought tears to my eyes. Nice.
Sadie is a beauty, she'll be a heartbreaker when she gets older, those blue eyes are piercing.
She’s a real doll! So smart!!!
Sadie talking in sentences blows me away, this little girl has the best teacher, her mommy, patience is key, and Kaylie has it. Love that your expanding the tiny home, just love it, Jordan don't rush it, you'll avoid mistakes that way. Great job dude.
Awe Sadie is such a little sweetie loving her baby doll❤️❤️
So proud of you guys - the deck/glass house is looking great already. The views are stunning. Sadie is so advanced. Her fine motor skills are so developed already - cracking eggs like a pro and she speaks so well too. She is adorable.💖You are great parents.
I humbly suggest a weekly addition: "Sadie Says..." You Parents are way above par. Bless Your Hearts.
that little girl is growing up so quick
In the upright iron beams, we drill a tiny hole in the bottom and another in the top so that any condensation formed inside the beam escapes and dries....
You should connect the workshop with the new house so it can flow all-in-one Also a way to connect the bathroom with all of that
My Fave Show........Thanks Yet Again....More SADIE Please..What A Lil" Ball Of Fire.....Luvs......The Vermonter
OMG I just love to watch and see all the improvements and expansions to you living area you are doing Sadie is getting so big and her vocabulary is absolutely awesome she strikes me as such a joy to be around and it is because of you both parents she is going to be some awesome person as she grows up … I get so much joy watching and thank you for sharing as always sending much love and prayers your way you guys are awesome ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕
Happy Saturday ❤😊
You guys are absolutely adorable... Sadie is really becoming more of a grown up, then a 2 yr old😂😂 And Kaylee is just beautiful in every way ❤❤
I’m inspired by your videos. I’m currently on a multi state tour to finish seeing each of the lower 48. I did Wyoming/Montana/Yellowstone over the past few days. It’s been epic!
you gotta take that garage door out and replace it with opening glass doors and build stairs and a slide from the workshop deck down to the new one x
I like this idea, but I'd go a step further and make it French doors. Also add a bit of an overhang.
That’s exactly the plan :)
@@NomadicMovementLol! Which one!? Now you have me asking myself, is it gonna be door #1 or door #2??!!??😂 Whichever, I know it will look amazing...but could help a girl out and slow down the wheels of wondering!!🤣 Have an amazing week.
You guys are amazing thankfully you were able to put the two caballos up just before the rain. Amazing work. Sadie is so precious and growing up with such her own personality. The guys helping with the build is so great. The farm is coming along great. Thanks for how you forecast the weather. You and Kaylee are such wonderful parents and loving couple. Like I have said in the past LOVE flows from Lola's Farm not only to each other but to the WORLD. Have a wonderful and safe and prosper.
Posts are vertical; beams are horizontal. Posts are plumb; beams are level. Love your vids
You can put a piece of plastic over the tops of your posts before you erect them. You paint the outside of your joists, but it would not be a bad idea to caulk the seams so water doesn't get a chance to run inside.
Sadie speaks so well for her age. Love her facial expressions. What a sweatheart. But then again she has great parents.
You guys amaze me with every episode you put out, lm a long time follower since yall where bus dwellers, Love your content and your whole extended family, you guys are the best part of my Saturday. Love from Texas
Between Sadie and Ellie from WWOG I feel there is a future they are both so intelligent and Loving and a true delight to their parents and all of us
It's so beautiful! You are out doing yourselves.
Keeping your views open will continue to feed your soul.
🎉🎉🎉
FYI: A beam or girder or header all sit horizontally. A post or stud run vertical. Floor joists sit on top of girders or beams. Ceiling rafters sit on top of beams or top plate headers. Ya’ll call everything ‘a beam!’ 😂👏 Also, plumb is vertical and level is horizontal!
Sadie is such a smart & beautiful little girl. With a good mom and gallant dad who work well together to raise her and build their home together. May your family be blessed.
Jordan, Kaylee. You guys are doing So, So, So good on all the things you are doing on your Home on Lola's farm. This Grandma Love 's all three of you Jordan, Kaylee,Sadie. And all your Friends that help you I love them too.And Proud of all of you on Lola's farm.❤. Love you all.Grandma Raquel.
Joden you are not old! now I am old, I am 55 years old and I am a happy guy when work so cheer up and know it is hard work but we are with you
Lots of little critters I have seen before. I use to live in the tropics and those you're showing are new to me. Like a mixture of a cocoon with crab claws and colorful 😅
You guys are so ambitious!!! You amaze me!! 🥰🥰
Just put a baggy over the post until ready to cover, tape it with aluminum foil tape until ready don't have to worry about it.
I know...was thinking the same thing...so simple! 😊
Sadie is so smart! Before you know it she will be running everything! She is so adorable ❤️
I have Really fallen in Love with Sadie!
I like how Jordan sez ,"Can you weld this?" You were so scared of sparks, Now, you're an Iron Worker!!
And it Looks So, So, So Beautiful what you are trying to finish before the Rain Comes.I Pray you get it done.❤. Raquel.God bless you all.
Sadie is still the spittin image of her dad! What great parents and environment to grow up in.🥰
Sadie is so adorable. She is learning so much by her helping with tasks. Such a blessing. Another great video. ❤
I’m thrilled to be better understanding Sadie’s adorable chatter.
I love watching y'all build and weld!!! It's so awesome. Watching Sadie grow up to be such a delightful young lady is such a privilege. I remember when she was born.
you all live in a very rich environment with all the rain that gives the plants life that gives you fertile soil...you truly are blessed.
Maybe tape the tops of the metal to deflect rain and or put a plastic bag over the tops before you set them. Inexpensive and will get the job done. Just a suggestion since y’all live in the crazy climate. Love the channel!
UNBELIEVABLE….IT JUST BLOWS MY MIND!!!! SADIE IS SO SMART!SO SWEET! NOT A WHINER!!! I MEAN JUST CRACKING A EGG ,at 2 YRS old,not making a mess…..is just mind blowing in itself!!! MAY I ASK…….are you two having another child, because you “ NAIL IT” ,in the parenting department!!!!!! KUDOS,Kayleigh & Jordan!!!!!!! I just love you all so much….loyal viewer from B.C,Canada..💞Jana
I love watching these builds, that view is awesome !
Pancha Mama speaks to me through my back to let me know when it's going to rain.
Sadie is so adorable. It is such a joy watching the three of you creating magic on your side of the mountain
Excellent job guys!!! 💪🏻👌🏻
Sadie amazes me every video with how much she knows at just 2 years old! Thats what REAL "Life experience" gives a child, like things used to be, rather than TV programmes and Computer Games! 👍🏻🏴🇬🇧
I've never thought about that. I stayed with my Grandparents most of my first 5 years and we were nearly always outside doing one thing or another, gardening, carrying firewood in, ramp digging, catching night crawlers for fishing after a rain...was taught so many different things by 3 parents at such a young age that I will carry the rest of my days and so will Sadie🤗 Thanks Mom, Mamaw and Granddad. Being outside, showing patience and love could very well be the best foundation for a lasting education.😊 Hope all have an amazing week🙏❣️
@@Charlotte-bn4gp 100% myself and my brother were the same! Spent our weekends and holidays on the coast in a static caravan/mobile Home so grew up half in London and half in Countryside/on the coast. Spent ALL day from early morning til Dark playing outside riding bikes teaching myself how to fix/building the bikes from age 4/5, fishing with my Dad, getting worms out the ground, playing sports and games, making things out of wood, helping my Dad and Grandad do the garden and wash the cars, at 10 I had a old small 8ft fibreglass dinghy/tender boat I used to pull to beach with an old 1936 Engine that weighed a ton on the back that was bigger than me! Used to get the engine out the shed, put it on the boat do the spark plug and oil and get it running every year after the winter and take it out on my own in the sea at just 10years old!
..But then when I was very young, from age just 18months old my mother used to sit down and do maths with me apparently and also at 18months old I used to line up all my toy cars and name them one by one make and model, before I could actually pronounce them all properly. So 100% Engaging a child's brain from 0-7 (ESPECIALLY 0-5 pre-school) is KEY for a child to be intelligent, well developed and have the ability to think for themselves problem solve and get ahead in life! (I can remember glimpses if memories like "photos" sort-of, from 6months old! And full detailed childhood memories from 2-3years onwards Same age as Sadie here..). MANY people are surprised by this, but I think it's a matter of how engaged and therefore developed your brain was in formative years by your parents, grandparents etc and whoever else you had guiding you in those crucial early years..
Sorry for the essay but your message really resonated with me also! (&I think this is the reason that society is in such a bad state now, kids don't do this stuff anymore! & Neither do MOST parents!) 👍🏻♥️🙏🏻x
Jordan - Your music choices were outstanding for this video. I particularly enjoyed the ending selection.
What an amazing little girl you have . As an old grandpa, it is so great to see you involving her in all you are doing, she is growing up to be one very smart and capable young lady. Just loving your videos, and recalling the day you parked the bus on the block.......wow, the future changes you will create......Stay safe and well.
To cap the tops of the posts so they don't fill with water, just elastic a piece of poly on top of each one until you're ready to put the roof on
Just fyi…I’m a lot less cranky now at 85 than I’ve ever been. Age hath it’s benefits. Contentment can come at any age but the stresses of traditional work life in the US are no joke. Enjoy every day you guys!
How exciting that the cassita part of the house has roof beams! Yes, that view that you have is fantastic, I totally understand you wanting to see it again from your house. Sadie is just a marvel, her imagination, her vocabulary, just amazing!
Moo Moo’s getting so big! She’s beautiful! I’m loving this construction. You’re going to have some much needed space. 💕
Sadie cracking those eggs was priceless 😄😄. She had the best smile 😊. Your absolutely right, that view is amazing 🤩 cheers guys
Spectacular view!!! 🥰❤️🎶❤️🏡🎶❤️🎶🌻🌻🌻🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
When it rains. It pours has a whole new feeling to it after seeing your downpour!!
A little meat tenderizer w/water or baking soda plus a little water to make a paste will neutralize bug bites. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes.
What an amazing bathroom. Sadie is so smart. The way her interests are nurtured. Kudos Mom and Dad.
What made your choice of sloping the roof towards the higher ground rather than kind of matching the slope of the hillside?
The view!!!
You guys have created such an idyllic lifestyle ❤ So happy for you 😊
WOW! Great progress on the deck and casita...Sadie wanting to help is so Beautiful. I am so impressed with how you are raising her.. from teaching her how to cook and help in the kitchen is the best! And the way Sadie speaks her mind to tell you what you and Jordan should do crack's me up and makes me proud ❤ The view your family has is incredible, you are so Blessed to own Lola's Farm❤️🙏❤️ i cant wait to see the final result of the Deck and Casita, it will be Amazing 🤩 Blessings and Love to you All 🙏❤️🙏
LOVE how the farm is coming along! Amazing how Smart( n Adorable) Sadie is. She's a deep thinker Already! Your homestead just keeps getting better n BETTER!❤
Yeah, the thought of 2025 is really crazy, especially when you were born in 1961!! I have to say I am so proud of you guys actually getting worked on during the day, because I would find it hard to work with that cute little girl yours keeping me laughing all day long and I would just want to stop and chat with her because she’s so freaking funny
So the way your roof is slanted, the rain water goes towards your deck and house? Are you planning on catching that water? Everything looks beautiful, especially Sadie lol. Her face always lights up the screen.💞
That was my thought as well!
Just the sound of welding. Can I hear it's good. And welding with rod. Welding with wire also has 2 different sounds. I am someone who has diplomas in wood and concrete construction. But without welding, you can't do anything. Greetings from Spakenburg, Netherlands.
