It looks more or less the same as it does in the original video with the exception of the payphones. Obviously, a few things look a bit newer, but even as a foreigner (I moved to Finland in 2010), I had no problems recognizing it.
kick-ass performance, videography with love for detail, transition of style works great, the 90s-kid in me is happy AF! proves once again that musical styles DO mix well when care is involved AND that I need to finally move my ass and visit helsinki!

Helsinki subway opened 1982 and has changed little since. Old subway trains still run but there have been also a newer model since 2001. Actually i don't know if it's the same station than back in 1999 but from the level of dedication i guess it is :)
Most locations here are exactly the same as in the original video. The twerking scene was the only scene we had to film in a different location due to renovations in the ticket hall.
Maybe Helsinki is just smaller city than you are used to? :D Helsinki has 634940 residents. Although Helsinki Metropolitan region has 1.4 million people. There are only 5 million Finnish people overall.
